I can't click on objects on a website

When I want to click on on object on a website (such as to order something, or on a toolbar object), it will not work. This is happening in areas where I could click in the past with no problem. I am using Firefox 4 in Vista.

  • I can't click on some videos on websites such as YouTube

Whenever I am on a website where I want to watch a video such as YouTube, I can't always click on the video. The video displays and works properly, but when I click on play it doesn't register the click. I have to right click and then left click for it to register the click at all. Some websites this does not happen, such as Vimeo, where everything works normally.
== URL of affected sites ==
    www.youtube.com

I think I have the same problem. All the Youtube video flash UI is shown, but when I try to click the play or any other button it doesn't work. I have to click several times to get it to work. If I try to set the volume, when I manage to click the button several times, if I move the mouse to try adjust the slider, the control gets hidden again.
    Very annoying!

  • Can't click on some elements on websites

  • I can't click on any emails on websites and make them work

when I am browsing a website, and that website invites me to click on their email to contact them, and I click on it, nothing happens. It doesn't work.
someone told me i need an email program associated with my browser. she suggested i click on tools on firefox, then click on options, then click on applications, then click on mailto. everything worked til i came to applications - there is no mailto to click on.
    please help

I already tried searching for mail, and mailto - the same list comes up. The list of applications seems to be more of what I have done with music and movies - there is a long list of times I used quick time, podcasts., and windows media. It does not look like apps at all to me.

  • My links won't light up that potential clients can just click and go, why?

I need to know why my links won't light up so that my clients can just click and go to my website. What do I need to do to correct this problem?

That means that you have to login to access the page and see that content.<br />
In that case we won't be able to inspect the page and test if it works.
If elements on a page can't be clicked the it is usually because another element is covering it.<br />
If there is floating content then make sure that you use a clear:both rule, especially for the footer.

  • How can you move the objects from one server to another?

how can you move the objects from one server to another?

    Hi,
    Collecting objects for Transporting
    1. rsa1->transport connection
    2. left panel choose 'object type', middle panel choose 'infocube' and 'select objects'
    3. then choose your infocube and 'transfer'
    4. will go to right panel, choose collection mode 'manual' and grouping only 'necessary objects'
    5. after objects collection finished, create request
    6. If they are $TMP, then change the package.
    7. When you click the Save on the change package, it will prompt for transport. Here you can provide an existing open transport request number, or if you like here itself you can create a new one.
    8. You can check the request in SE09 to confirm.
    Releasing Transport Request
Lets say you are transporting from BWD to BWQ
Step 1: In BWD go to TCode SE10
Step 2: Find the request and release it (Truck Icon or option can be found by right click on request #)
Note: First release the child request and then the parent request
Steps below are to import transport (generally done by basis )
Step 1: In BWQ go to Tcode STMS
Step 2: Click on Import queue button
Step 3: Double Click on the line which says BWQ (or the system into which transport has to be imported)
Step 4: Click on refresh button
Step 5: High light the trasnport request and import it (using the truck icon)

  • How can I put 1 object in a photo in color but the rest in black and white?

I have iPhoto '08, and I have seen many photos that have interesting effects like the one I mentioned before. I would really like to know how I can allow the main object in the photo to remain its natural color, but change the rest of the picture to black/white or sepia.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. You mean like this?
This was created by Photoshop. But it's a little over the top for must of what we want to do. Photoshop Elements can do the same as can some of Larry's other suggestions. I've worked with PSE and it's an excellent editor with about 75% of PS's capabilities at about 1/7 the price.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier versions) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. There are versions that are compatible with iPhoto 5, 6, 7 and 8 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
NOTE: The new rebuild option in iPhoto 09 (v. 8.0.2), Rebuild the iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup" makes this tip obsolete.

  • How can I create a object for a note?

    Hi experts,
I need to apply the note 501905 but when I try in the SNOTE transacction I receive this error:
Object REPS Z_MRM_DELETE_PP does not exist; create it
    Diagnosis
The SAP Note that you want to implement contains changes to an object that does not yet exist in your system.
SAP Notes contain only changes to objects that already exist. This means that the the system cannot automatically create new objects during the implementation of this SAP Note.
    Procedure
    1. Cancel the SAP Note implementationl.
    2. Create an empty object REPS Z_MRM_DELETE_PP with the corresponding object editor.
    3. Restart the SAP Note implementation.
How can I create that Object??
    Thanks for the help!

    Hi Carlos,
It says that you have to create a new program with a name Z_MRM_DELETE_PP.
Once you create and activate the program you can execute the SAP Note.
All this processure will be written in the SAP Note.
Please Go through the Note using below:
    Step1: Use T.code SNOTE.
Step2: Use menu GOTO --> NOTE BROWSER. Provide the Note no and EXECUTE.
Step3: Double click on the displayed line.
Here you will get the information to do before implementing the note.
Go through all the documentation, and once you did all the development given in the note then you can implement the note.
    Regards,
    Sreekanth.

  • Pages '09: Can't select multiple objects with mouse?

Hello! I want to select some shapes. I know that I can hold down shift and click on them individually one by one, but they're very many and grouped together, so I just want to draw a 'selection-rectangle' with the mouse, just as it works in all other programs I've ever used. But this doesn't seem to work. What am I doing wrong?

    Hello Stef,
You can simply click and drag over an area to select multiple objects if you are in a Page Layout document, but since this is your fourth post you may be new to Pages and you may not yet even be aware of the Page Layout mode. At the top of your Pages window is the document title and next to the title in parentheses are the words "Word Processing" or "Page Layout".
So, in a Word Processing document, it's just a little bit more involved. In the upper left corner of the window, click on the View icon and select "Show Layout". You will see gray around the edges - your desktop, a white sheet - your paper, and three rectangular outlines - the header field, the text frame and the footer field. This assumes that you have the Header and Footer turned on.
As you move your mouse, the text insertion bar, a vertical line with curved features top and bottom, will move about the document. Move the insertion bar to the margin, outside of the boxes, and press and hold the COMMAND key. Your cursor will change to an arrowhead. Now you can select multiple objects by click-dragging, just as you are accustomed to doing in other applications.
    Regards,
    Jerry

  • HP UFT (QTP) Can't Identify Delphi Objects

We're using Delphi 2005 (version 9) with orpheous.
When we use the Object Spy in HP UFT, a generic name is shown instead of the actual delphi name. For example, our Report Screen would be shown as "DelphiWindow" and additional screens will be shown as "DelphiWindow_1", "DelphiWindow_2", etc.
Obviously this doesn't work when we try to run the test because it can't identify the correct window. What do I need to do to allow UFT to retrieve the name correctly? I have tried doing the same steps in TestComplete and it was able to identify the objects correctly. What's the difference between TestComplete and UFT with regards to object identification?

You can use the object repository to learn objects in your application.
    - Click Object Repository Icon
    - Click "+" icon to add the objects you want UFT to learn.
    - Your screen will then get a pointing icon which you can point ot the application window / panel/tab you want to learn.
    - Select "Learn All objects" on next window. This is preferred since you can later decide which ones you want to keep.
    - All the objects will be learned and added to your object repository according to their hierarchy.
    - You can now refer these objects in your test cases
    Few points to note :
    - You need to compile your test application using the MicDelphiAgent.pas in project DPR.
    - Some Delphi custom controls such as DevX are still not detected completely. So you need to use the Delphi Add In Extensibility Guide or "HP Unified Functional Testing Add-Ins Guide" to see how to extend the Delphi Addin to recognize the custom controls you require.
    - In my experience, all standard Delphi VCL, Windows, Raize are detectable.

  • Run-time error '429':Active X component can not create an object

    Hi Folks,
I am using some VBA code to run logic in BPC for Excel. When i try to click on VBA button, It's giving the below error. However when i am trying to execute same from server it is working fine. Accessing from BPC client only we are facing this problem.
Code have no issues. Is there any specific thing need to mentioned in client when we use VBA programming? Basically we used the VBA program to create the id's in BPC for Excel. So that it will automatically created on fly. Testing was fine interms of working in Server.
    " Run-time error '429':Active X component can not create an object ."

    Hi,
Are you trying to add a member into the dimension from excel? As you said that this has been already tested in the server and is working fine, I believe, you have taken care of everything.
Now, coming to the point, when you are adding a member in the membersheet, you need to process the dimension. This requires the admin rights. So, please check the task profile of the user ID, with which you are trying from your system. This user ID should be the primary admin.
    Hope this helps.
Additionally, can you please elaborate on the steps on what you followed for adding a member from the excel directly?

  • Button can be clicked only 4 times within 24 hours?

I want to create a JSP page which has one button. Requirement of project is that button can be clicked only four times within 24 hours. After 24 hour it should again allow to click button for max four times. How can I do this? Please help.

    Hi,
In our project we implemented the same functionality,
This can be simply achieved by object serialization.
i.e you can store object with two attribute say clickCount , startDate and endDate.
you should have seperate thread which does activate and deactivate operations on button with buttonactivateFlag.
when button is clicked you should check for flag and do accordingly, if active increment clickCount, else dont allow.
Thread part: thread update the endDate attribute in object by constant freqency, if startDate != endDate then next day.
    buttonactivateFlag = true;
    startDate = endDate = current date;
    clickCount = 0;
I hope this will work fine!

  • Can't Click Inside Form

Hi again! I am having an issue with something I'm experimenting with. I'm looking to add a Form and Button to my site, but when adding it inside of a specific div, I can't click inside the Form field.

You could probably use the 8 point garbage matte in this situation. I personally think the 8-point garbage matte is a bit cumbersome, but it should get the job done.
    1. Use the Razor Blade tool to place a cut before and after the shot with the bottle.
    2. Select the bottle clip.
    3. Press and hold Shift + Option, then drag the bottle clip up one track. This should create a duplicate clip directly above your original clip. (I'll refer to this duplicated clip as bottle2.)
    4. Locate the 8-point Garbage Matte filter and apply it to bottle2.
    5. Locate the Gaussian Blur filter and apply it to bottle2.
    6. Control click bottle1, and uncheck the "Clip Enable" setting from the shortcut menu. This will disable that clip.
    7. Double click bottle2 to load it into the Viewer. Then select the Filter tab.
    8. For the Garbage Matte filter, you'll notice 8 rows of numbers, these are the current locations for the control points, which you should be able to see in the Canvas. Start with point #1, and click the "+" button in the filters area, then in the Canvas click and drag to move the point. When you release the mouse button, you'll need to reclick the "+" button in the filters tab. Repeat these steps until you've isolated the bottle.
    9. Feather the edge of the matte.
    10. Adjust the Blur amount.
    11. Reenable bottle1. Playback the clip and make any necessary adjustments.
Depending on your experience with Motion, you might also want to try sending bottle1 to Motion, then use Motion to control the layering.
