I can't connect my phone to itunes

I have followed all of the steps suggested after running the diagnostics (twice), rebooted (twice), shut down the phone (twice) --- the "help" specifcally mentions the computer sees the phone as a camera not as a phone but doesn't say anything about how to correct this.

You cannot return to previous state. The update re-locked the iPhone
to the original carrier. You must contact the original carrier to see if
they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
Be advised that if your iPhone had previously been hacked/modified/
jailbroken to work with other than original carrier, it may be impossible
for the original carrier to unlock it properly.

Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Write down what it says about "version"and report that here. Now continue to "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).
Even my 12 year old Mac lets me download the newest iTunes. Of course I can't install it but any computer can download the installer files so we need to know precisely what you are trying and what error messages you are seeing.

My charger conector not working .even i cant connect my phone to itunes

at the first i had a problem with ring tones in my iphone 4s .
no more sound coming from my phone
then i clean the charger place on my iphone and headphone then my problem was resolve.
but after afew days i culdnt charge my phone and also i couldnt connect my phone to itunes any more.

This screen indicates that the device is in recovery mode, and must be restored in iTunes before it can be used again.

Recently downloaded Itunes and can't connect to Ping or itunes store.

ah yes, i had the flets program last year i believe. then i switched to OCN.

YOur phone is in recovery mode, any data that was on there is already gone, you will have to restore your phone and use whatever backup you to restore to.

Search your email for the word Logic (and set the search to All) and you should find the receipt (so long as you didn't delete it)
Other than that.. simply contact Apple directly and ask.. Make sure you have your transaction details ready for them as they will need it...
