I can't connect to itunes ios 7. I bought a 15$ iTunes card now I can't use it. Help!

Please help I can use safari and all but can't use iTunes I need to redeem this $15 gift card but every time I hit redeem and type in my password, it says "can't connect to iTunes Store" then the only option is to hit ok. Please help!

Try a reset ...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Did you follow the steps exactly in order to restore? disconnect all cables, open iTunes, then connect micro usb

Make sure to connect directly to computer, not a keyboard port or USB hub. Try a different cable.

Are you running any of Symantec's (Norton) or McAfee's Internet security products or anything similar, or an antivirus/antispyware application? Some such utilities treat an upgrade to iTunes as a new application and can block the application from connecting. So you have to go in and reset the utility to allow iTunes.
The same thing can happen if you upgrade the security product (this has particularly been a problem with recent McAfee upgrades). Check the settings for your utility. If iTunes is still listed, remove and re-enable the exception for iTunes. Consult your utility's documentation for the appropriate procedure. If you have Norton, you can find instructions for that utility on Symantec's web page for iTunes. You may also need to check the built-in Windows firewall as well.

It's in recovery mode. You don't have a choice. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If you didn't back it up, there is no way to recover it.

Sorry, you have no choice but to restore your phone now. If your data was not backed up before you attempted to update, it is gone.
Next time, backup before you attempt to update.

Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support.

My phone is in recovery mode before its was off and however ifs get on showing connect to itunes but now in recovery mode its showing itunes is restoring software on phone and and above its showing waiting for phone but not moving further what shold i do

Try DFU Mode Restore. Open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer with USB cable. Hold both Home and Power button, after exactly 10 seconds release the Power Button, keep holding the Home button until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode, usually about 20 seconds time. If the iPhone screen is black, blank this is DFU Mode. Click the Restore button of iTunes.

I just had my phone 5c screen replaced and it was working fine until I tried updating it 30 mins later, I was getting error messages and couldn't move past the Apple logo. so when I tried a factory restore I get a message saying It cannot restore or update my phone.
