I can't convert songs into ringtones

Yesterday, I had 50 songs that I could convert now I have none. I tried changing Rockstar by Nickelback and Crazy by Gnarls Barkley. Yesterday, they were both convertable, now there not.

At times on my system the bells disappear. Not the bell column, but the bells that show up in the column indicating that they are ring-tone capable. All I've had to do (even though the bell is not showing up) is right click on one of the songs that I KNOW is ok'd for ring-tones, scroll down to "Create Ringtone" and then iTunes brings up the ringtone creator at the bottom of iTunes. So give that right click a try and see if it helps.
By the way, you do know don't you that you must purchase the song first, then pay an additional $.99 to make it a ringtone right?

  • I can't convert itune into ringtone

I have converted the itune into AAC format, but when I go to choose a start and stop time, it doesn't save it. I have multiple versions of the same full-length song, but no abbreviated version to use as a ringtone. Help...I need my Beatles...

  • How do you get the Tones tab on iTune so I can load a song on ringtones?

How do I get the Tones tab on iTunes so I can load a song on ringtones? Any instructions on how to add a new ringtone?

I looked into that, and you right.
I will replace the Class.forName() with ClassLoader.loadClass() and instantiate a new ClassLoader everytime I need a new version of an existing class ( up to a limit of, say, 100 times, after which the server will notify the client that it has to be restarted before that class can be updated ).
Now, another question: What happens when I load 10 different versions of "Msg404.class", using different loaders ?
Will the JVM give me the latest version, when I instantiate Msg404.class ?
( That is what I would expect to happen ).
    Thanks, Fredrik.

  • How can I convert imovie into photo's

How can I convert imovie into photo's

For iMovie 11, you will need to download a free tool called MPEG Streamclip from Squared 5. (Google it). This is a very handy tool to have if you make videos.
In iMovie, select the clip that contains the frame that you want. Right-click on the clip and select Reveal in Finder.
You should see the clip highlighted in the Finder. Drag this clip into MPEG Streamclip. Move the playhead to the frame you want. Then click FILE/EXPORT FRAME. You can choose JPEG, TIFF, or PNG.

  • Anyone can teach me how to convert my MP3 song into Ringtone on my iPhone 5

Anyone could teach me how to convert my MP3 music in my iPhone 5 into Ringtone?

You can't do this directly within the device. Your media needs to be in an iTunes library on your computer. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device if necessary.
    Select your song.
On the Get Info > Options tab set start and stop times less than 40 seconds apart.
Under Edit > Preferences > General tab > Import Settings choose AAC Encoder > High Quality 128k.
Right-click on the song and select Create AAC version.
Reset the start and stop times on the original track.
Right-click on the new copy and click Show in Windows Explorer.
Change the file extension from .m4a to .m4r. (You may need to adjust folder options to see the extensions)
Move the file into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder.
Delete the broken entry to the file that you renamed and moved.

  • What? Now those purchased songs can't be made into ringtones?

Well, I buy a lot of music from the iTunes music store, and I have an iPhone. Perfect. Now I can make my own ringtones!
Well, it used to be that way. I made three ringtones about 6 months ago. Recently, however, I began to realize that fewer and fewer of the songs in my library had the ringtone button. What's going on? I even checked the songs that I had already made into a ringtone, and even THEY were missing the button?
A quick check on the iTunes Music Store shows me that many of the albums I have purchased are able to be turned into ringtones. Why, then, can I not do that? I ALREADY BOUGHT THEM, and indeed I already used some of them!
I called apple and was informed that I must repurchase the songs, because they had been "updated." Really? If that is the case, and I must repurchase songs that I have already purchased, just so I can then further purchase 30 seconds of that song for a ringtone, then I quit. If there really is no other way, then I will never buy from iTunes Music Store again. I am a long time Mac customer and music enthusiast, and I will NOT be punished for trying to do things the legal way.
    Is there any other way?

Anyone you might have reached on the phone will have no knowledge about the issue; the iTunes Store does not have any telephone support, and the Apple tech support reps have no information about the iTunes Store products or policies.
First, make sure that you're running the latest version of iTunes and that you're connected to the US iTunes Store (look for the My Country link at the bottom of the main iTunes Store page; I presume you are since you say some tracks do show the ringtone icon). If both are correct, you can contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form on their Contact page and explain the problem to them. Note that it's entirely possible that the owner of the tracks in question may have withdrawn permission for Apple to sell them as ringtones; such things do happen from time to time.
    Good luck.

  • Error 11556 when trying to convert songs to ringtones

i have bought a song from itunes to turn it into a ringtone for my iphone but when i try to convert the song into a ringtone i get this message. itunes could not connect to the itunes store, and unkown error occured (11556). i have heard you can't make ringtones in the UK for some stupid reason but i am in canada. please help

By any chance were these songs you are trying to turn into a ringtone. Did they come from the iTunes WiFi Store?
If so and the songs still exist in the iPhone. Try the following
    1. Delete the songs in iTunes and ensure they go into the trash.
    2. Go to iTunes Preferences - Devices - and Disable automatic sync for iPhones and iPods. Ensure you check this box.
    3. Now connect the iPhone. Then go to iTunes menu bar and click on File - Transfer purchases - Once the songs copy back from iPhone. Now go ahead and try and turn one into a ringtone.

  • Can i convert songs bought in music store to mp3

i will convert the music i bought in music store to mp3 so i can burn it to a disk and play it on my radio

Burn the songs to an audio CD, then re-import them into iTunes as mp3s.
You can't convert protected songs files into mp3 format "on the fly" within iTunes, but you can get them to mp3 format by burning as an audio CD.

  • Converted songs to ringtones now songs only play 40 sec.

I converted songs that I had purchased through itunes into ringtones on my sons iphone. Now when he goes to play his music on his iphone those same  songs will only play 40 seconds (same as the ringtone). I went back to itunes and in the music they show the full length but will only play 40 seconds, the same as the ringtone. How do I get the full length of the song back in itunes and in music on the iphone?

Right mouse clcic the music in iTune library, select "Get Info", then OPTION tab, uncheck start and stop time, then OK.
Took me a while to figure it out myself.

  • Can i convert songs in 128kbps to 256kps

How do i convert songs/albums into 256 w/out reloading the cd?
also, is it best to import at 256kbps for all music.
    any help much apprciated

"How do i convert songs/albums into 256 w/out reloading the cd?"
You don't. You will need to re-import.
" is it best to import at 256kbps for all music."
That is a matter of personal preference. You can have higher quality sound (but larger file size) or smaller file size ( but lower quality sound). It's up to you.

  • Can't import songs into itunes library...

For some reason it isn't working. I took a couple of songs off my ipod via ephpod and i tried opening them using the import function in itunes. I open it, but the songs aren't added into the library at all. Maybe it might be the file format? Anyone have anyway to convert the songs into the accepted format?

    Yep,
I have been having the exact same problem now for over a year. First, it was like six hundred songs--wouldnt play on my ipod and then wouldnt add into my itunes library. It happened to correspond with an update of itunes and the ipod firmware. It has only gotten worse and now I am in fear of updating anything further. I have been looking for answers to this problem for a long time, if you happen to get an answer that works would you let me know about it too?
    Thanks!
