I can't convert SW2010, ProE W5 and UG NX7 files from APEX 9 !

Does anyone know if there is a schedule on when Solidworks 2010, ProE WildFire 5 and UG NX7 formats/files will be supported by Acrobat Pro
Extended 9?
The last versions of these software have been available since last year ...
The last 3D update of APEX was APEX 9.2 version in 2009,October.
Why don't we receive any 3D updates on APEX? no schedule from ADOBE.

There are no announced plans to add new file support to Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, and 3D import translation has been discontinued in Acrobat X, which will only read U3D and PRC files.
Users are now directed to the plugin from Tetra4D, who have taken over development of the 3D engine from Adobe. Their software for Acrobat X Pro does support the latest versions of those files, but will not work with Acrobat 9. See the link for a full list of formats.

It's almost impossible. The new iMacs have a Target Display Mode, but it's built to do that. Without ripping your screen out, finding an acceptable power supply, frame, and whatever electronics to convert a Thunderbolt signal to the screen, the cost will be much larger than buying a cheaper HiDef monitor that runs with an HDMI to Thunderbolt cable to your MacBook 15. In fact, you can sell your 17" MBP for a lot of money, unless it's broken or something, buying you a really sweet monitor.

For your addressbook, export the files to vCard on the PowerMac, then bring them over to your Mac Pro. For your iPhoto, copy the Users -> yourname -> Pictures folder to your Desktop on the Mac Pro, and open iPhoto on the Mac Pro holding the command and option keys. Select the library file from that Pictures folder and open it. It should import all the pictures into iPhoto as part of the rebuild process. First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

On Windows (don't know about Mac), the latest version will always take over the file association, and become the default for indd files. It's impossible to change it.
But there is a plugin for ID that makes this possible. Never tried it myself.

Why not just connect the PC directly to the TC by ethernet and copy the files over?
It is hugely faster and much less mucking around.
In windows load the airport utility for windows.. if you have not already as this will help you access the drive.

Tell Apple. We're just fellow users here and can't control a thing. The sandboxed nature of the iPad, which also means a lack of an overall file manager is what keeps viruses from spreading and improves the stability of the system as a whole. And it's that lack of a file manager system that means you can't just attach something to an e-mail.
What I'd do, reply to the person, i'm sending the attachment next, do that and you're done. 2 e-mails sure but you've accomplished what you need to do.

The quickest way to do this (tested with OS 10.8.2, MS Word 2011) is in one line:
tell application "Microsoft Word" to close every document whose name begins with "book"
The reason why your script doesn't work is that you aren't specifying to Word which document you want it to close.
So, changing one line ought to do it:
close document incrementvalue -- instead of "close document"
But... when you close a document, you change the document count. Document 2 becomes document 1, document 3 becomes document 2 etc. So eventually you'd get a message saying "The object you are trying to access doesn't exist".
Because of this, if you want to do it in a repeat loop, you have to work backwards:
tell application "Microsoft Word"
set doc_count to count documents
repeat with x from doc_count to 1 by -1
if name of document x begins with "book" then close document x
end repeat
end tell

You can update it on your computer, but then when he syncs it to his own it will say this iphone is already synced with another itunes account bla bla and will ask you if you want to sync it with this account. It will wipe anything you put on it using your own itunes account. BUT it wont wipe off the new iOS5
