I can't copy any data or links from any webpages in Firefox to other programs such as Word

When i am on different webpages and i try to copy information (URLs, data, links etc) from the webpage and try to paste it into either email messages, MS Outlook 2003 or a MS Word 2003 document, it will not paste. Not sure if this is a Firefox problem or a MS Office problem. It worked fine until about 2 days ago. Now it won't do it at all - have tried from several different webpages, different types of data, different types of desinations (documents, email, etc)

What happens if you try to paste into Notepad?
Also, when you paste into Word, does any data paste at all? Try copying from this forum reply into Word to make sure the problem is with all sites. (Here is some '''bold text''' and ''italic text'' you can try copying)
You do have an old version of Firefox, so you should try upgrading to the newest release from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox

How can you copy form data from an online PDF, in your browser?

Just a quick query, I've recently filled out an online application and I filled this out on an online PDF form. This is the form link:

How can I copy the data I typed into this form, to a word document for example? Or is there any way I can save this as a PDF with all the data in the form, to send it as an email?
I've downloaded the form, but it just shows blank pages with no fields filled.

Can't copy any file to/from iomega 1TB home media network CE other than through FTP

Hi, since few days ago I can't copy any file to or from iomega using Windows Explorer on my PC or any file explorer ony my android phone. I can acces the drive but when I try to copy something to the drive, a 'copying' window pops up and shows "estimating" in ETA and often freezes. Same goes with my phone, it just shows 0B/s as speed. I can however copy files to/from using ftp connection. Do you have any ideas what's wrong? I didn't change anything, it just stopped working. Also, will factory reset delete all data from the drive? EDIT. Turns out I can only copy FROM the drive using ftp. So at this point there is no way for me to move anything to the nas.

With the majority of support incidents I have dealt with, odd behavior like this can usually be attributed to a failing drive.
The firmware runs on the drive, so, if it is beginning to fail it can cause unexpected behavior.
I would backup anything from the NAS that you wish to keep, then run the factory reset (it is data destructive), and then try to re-load the NAS.

Firefox doesn't store the bookmarks as separate files in a folder, but uses a sqlite database file with the name places.sqlite.
You will have to export those favorites in IE to an HTML file and import that file in Firefox.

Can not copy any file or empty the trash

Hello,
I'm using a Macbook (white) with OSX 10.6.4 and am having an extremely annoying problem which has three symptoms:
1. I *can not empty the trash* (safely or not) at all.
2. I *can not copy any file*, anywhere.
3. I *can not move anything to the "Applications"* folder.
I try restarting the computer, repairing the permissions, running the latest version of Onyx and so on, but nothing works. I always get the following error message (when copying a file or emptying the trash)
"The operation can't be completed because you don't have the permission to access some of the items".
And this even though I repaired the permissions three times today.
To be honest, this makes my Mac pretty useless, and is very frustrating.
Can anybody help? I've browsed a lot of other threads about this, tried everything, but to no avail.
Come on, this is my first Mac, don't tell me I have to reinstall the OS from zero, Windows-style.

Those are the normal permissions but if you are logged in as admin, hit the unlock button and enter your password they should no longer be greyed out.
You can try chmoding them from root through the terminal if you are up for it. I'd also try booting up in SafeMode and seeing if that allows access.

For instance: I play my "lucky take" on the virtual piano, and now I am curious how it would sound on let's say a organ. Normally I would select the midi content out of the piano track and copy it into the organ track. I cannot figure out how to do this in GarageBand for iOS. Is there anyone out there with a solution?

It is limited, how you can move regions between tracks. Basically, you can move between tracks with the same touch instrument. See the help: http://help.apple.com/garageband/ipad/2.0/index.html#chsec12c15d
Move a region
Drag the region left or right to move it forward or back in time. Align the left edge of the region with the bar or beat on the ruler where you want it to start playing.
Drag the region up or down to move it to another track with the same Touch Instrument. You can also drag regions between Keyboard and Sampler tracks, and between Audio Recorder and Guitar Amp tracks. Smart Drums regions cannot be dragged to another Smart Drums track.
If you move a region so that it overlaps another region, the overlapped part of the “covered” region is deleted.
Paste a region
You can paste a region you have copied, or paste an audio file from an app that supports copying audio to the clipboard. GarageBand supports 44.1 kHz sample rate, 16-bit depth uncompressed audio files.
You can paste copied regions to another track with the same Touch Instrument. You can also paste regions between Keyboard and Sampler tracks, and between Audio Recorder and Guitar Amp tracks. Move the playhead to the point where you want the region to start.

I am experiencing trouble with my iPhone. I have to reinstalled my Windows 7 OS due to some trouble. When I reinstalled everything include iTunes back, it can not automatically back up my iPhone to iTunes like it used to. Also, I can not copy any songs and/or videos from iTunes to my iPhone. Fortunately, the application can be restored thanks to the new iTunes version.
Does anyone know how could I restore all my previous services I got before the reinstallation? Help!!

Can we copy the terms of payment from Purchasing info record in PO instade of Vendor master.
My requirement is that client want to maintain terms of payment as per Vendor - Material combination in Purchasing info record and same should be appeared while creation of PO.
I am able to maintain the terms of payment in Pinfo record but same is not getting copied while creation of purchase order thats the issue now.
I had maintain the terms of payment in condition tab-- addtional data tab but still system is taking the payment terms from vendor master.

To replicate data you can ude Database Gateway for ODBC or Database Gatewy for MS SQl Server. Please use the search engine of this forum if you ant to get more details about each product.
Some SQl Servers are set up to use Windows authentication only. In this case you won't be able to connect to the SQL Server as Windows authentication isn't supported with the gateways. You have to make sure your SQL server is supporting username and password authentication - a common user is the "sa" user. Regarding the username/password, please get in touch with your SQL Server Admin.
