Can't copy image from Adobe Reader into Adobe Illustrator

I am attempting to copy an image from a document in Adobe Reader 8 into Adobe Illustrator CS3. When I try this I get this message in Illustrator:
"Quicktime^TM and a decompressor are needed to see this picture."
I am running OSX 10.5.2, with Quicktime Player 7.4.1. I just purchased and registered Quicktime Pro but that has not helped.
What I am trying to do is use the image select tool in Reader to select an illustration out of a long PDF document so just opening the PDF in Illustrator is not convenient, nor is extracting the image, saving it in another format and then importing it. Before I upgraded, I was running Illustrator 10 on MAC OS X10.3. I could use the image select tool in Adobe Reader to copy an image to the clipboard, and then paste that image into in Illustrator document. Very convenient. For some reason that no longer works with Illustrator CS3 and OS X 10.5.

I can do that, but it is for my purposes much more convenient to do what I used to be able to do: open a document in Reader, scroll down through the document to find the image I want, select only that image (not the entire page) and then paste it into an already-open Illustrator document. Now what I have to do is 1. use Reader to find the image in the document and note the page 2. Open that page of the document in Illustrator and then 3. copy that page into the illustrator document I am working on and 4. crop to just get the image.

hi! i have saved my files with nokia pc suite > i have transfer the files on microsd 128 delivered with my phone! to my new 1go everything was good the applications, games.. but only one thing the folders of Theme, applications, games ... were named into predefthemes, predefcollections, predefgames... so when i tried to rename them as they was before on the original card!! the icons dissepear and they are no longer with small pictures...
The specific folder icons must have something to do with
a hidden file on the Nokia memory card called
"SD Content Package sd_emea" (this file is only 55 Bytes large).
does anyone know how can i set the Folder-Icons ?
(On the memory card delivered with the phone the folders
have nice graphic symbols for games, programs etc...)

Unfortunatey it seems that only following folders on memory card are recognisible by 6300 as system folders:
Themes: predefthemes
Graphics: predefgraphics
Wallpapers: predefwallpapers
Screen savers: predefscreensavers
Tones: predeftones
Games: predefgames
Collection: predefcollections
The rest below folders (on my 6300, v4.71 firmware) when I named them as per rules with "predef" suffix the folders names left unchanged and with NO graphic icons.
Images: predefphotos
Video clips: predefvideos
Music files: predefmusic
Recordings: predefrecordings
I am not aware about real folders exact names on phone memory but I guess they should be like below:
Images: predefphotos
Video clips: predefvideos

Is there any way to copy content from my iPhone to a brand new Mac with a blank iTunes library?

Bit of background:
This time last week, I had a MacBook Air and a 6 year old desktop PC. Everything I had was on both of them, so they acted as each other's back up. This Sunday evening just gone, my PC finally died a traumatic death, and I can't even get it to boot from Safe Mode. Then on Monday while I was at work, my house was burgled, and my MacBook Air was stolen, amongst many other things. All I have now is my iPhone 4S which was with me at the time. All my music, photos, videos etc are on my iPhone, but I'm very aware that when I eventually get my replacement MacBook from our insurance company (I'm being realistic and accepting that I'll never see my stuff again), as soon as I plug my phone into a blank iTunes library, I'll lose everything that's on there. Obviously I can re-download everything I've purchased from iTunes, though it will take a VERY long time and I still won't have playlists etc, and I can probably either Dropbox or email what photos I have on there, but I have a lot of video clips from over the last few years that aren't on my camera roll - they're in the phone as proper videos, in the video player app, and I can't get Dropbox to view that location, or figure out how to email them. The videos are very important to me and I really don't want to lose them; so much so that I'm thinking of never syncing my iPhone ever again!
Basically, what I'm asking is, how can I copy everything from my iPhone into a blank iTunes library? Is it even possible?
ANY input whatsoever would be greatly appreciated - I really don't want to lose all my content over this, so please please please help if you can!

You can't copy directly from one iPod to another, you have to copy the songs back to iTunes and update the new iPod from there. It's because of the extension of the hard drive is a Windows extension ( most likely MSDOS or Ex-FAT), meaning you can only read but not write. If there are no important files (or you can copy the whole thing to your computer/mac) you can just reformat the hard drive and change the extension to NTFS (readable and writable on both windows and mac) or Mac OS Extended (readable and writable on Mac, readable on windows).
Go to DISK UTILITY
Choose the Hard Disk you intended
ERASE
You can choose either
(I personally prefer this one, you know just in case)

hold your finger down in the body of the mail - the part you want to copy. a blue box will comeup and offer to 'select/select all' or something like that. choose the appropriate choice. If you only want part of it that bubble will have two handles that allow you to drag out the selection box.
then hold your finger down again and another bubble will come up offering to cut/copy the words. choose copy
then navigate to your notes app (not sure about the textbook, depends on whether or not it support it) and hold your finger down in an empty text area. you'll get another blue bubble offering to paste it. choose that and the words should appear. then save as appropriate.

Right. Tiny confession. This is not actually my ATV. A friend is in this situation and I am trying to help, but having said that I'm pretty sure all the content is home movies, not purchased. I do have an app, Senuti, that will reverse copy content from an iPod or iPhone and it works great, but not on an ATV.

To maintain the metadata you'll need to use one of the third party tools that does this kind of migration. Metalogix has a product with a free trial that we have used before. (Don't remember whether the free version maintains metadata or not).

I am curious to know how did Flash Player get uninstalled from Chrome? If you can please share steps to reproduce how your Flash Plugin got Removed?
Also, Can you open chrome application Goto Chrome://plugins and See if Adobe Flash Player Plugin is Disabled? If yes, kindly enable Flash Player Plugin by clicking the [blue colored]enable link and restart the browser to see if the changes have reflected.
Because Flash Player cannot be uninstalled from Chrome using any uninstaller, as it is embedded part of the app installer/update and can only be removed if you remove the plugin reference from the location on disk. Possibility is that your plugin got disabled and did not get enabled after that.
Please see if it helps. If the above does not work then the only resolve is to update Chrome app. Please let us know if your query got resolved or not.

I didn't see Andrew's post before I started working on the Service option. I fleshed out some things and came up with this:
If you make it a service, you have to choose the type of data the service collects. Text seemed to work the best, but you had to right-click on some text in the card. In the workflow, you had to do something with the text or it would fail. I tried 'no input' as the service data type, but then you couldn't actually get the service to show up in the contextual menu.
However, you can assign it a shortcut in the keyboard system prefs. I assigned the workflow cmd+shift-C. This works out fine. The workflow runs and copies the contact info to the clipboard.
You can set up the Get Contact Information to collect whatever data you want. If you wanted to choose the type of data each time, you could set the options of that action to Show this action when workflow runs.
To summarize the workflow:
New Automator Service
No Input in Address Book
Get selected Address Book People
Get Contact Information
Copy to Clipboard
Save this and then go into Keyboard System Prefs, Keyboard Shortcuts, Services, and set a shortcut for your new service.
