I can't delete a reminder list

I'm running all the most current OS X and updates, but I can't delete any reminder list. When I delete them from my iphone, macbook, or directly in iCloud they delete for a minute then all return again. I tried deleting the com.apple.reminder folder but that didn't work. Any suggestions? I don't want to waste another 3 hours on the phone with Apple support. Thanks.

I had the same problem. Renaming of a list would also be undone after a minute or so. I supposed that some background syncing with iCloud is causing these to reappear. So, I closed Reminders on my laptop, quit Reminders on my phone, and then logged in to iCloud via my browser, where I deleted the list. When I opened Reminders again on both my laptop and phone, the deleted list did not reappear. Effective, but irritating.

  • How Do I Delete a Reminder List from iphone 5

I am unable to delete a reminder list which I no longer need (not an actual reminder) from my iphone 5.  I go into the menu in top lefthand corner and my reminder lists show up, but when I click on edit and swipe a reminder, no delete badge shows up, all I am able to do is change the order of my reminders. Would appreciate some help.

    Hey there,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re unable to remove an Apple ID from your iPhone 5s because you don’t know the password, and you no longer have access to the email address. Take a look at the article linked below, it outlines the possible ways to reset your Apple ID password.
If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
After you enter your Apple ID, there are three ways you can change your password:
Answer your security questions. Use these steps if you know the answers to your security questions.
Use email authentication. We'll send you an email that you can use to change your password.
Use two-step verification. If you set up two-step verification, you can use it to change your password. You just need your recovery key and a trusted device.
    Ciao,

  • HT4970 How do I delete a reminder list

I have two reminder lists and the completed one also.   How do I delete one of them; it was created in error when I got the phone.

I have a list called "Tasks" that seems to be associated with an Office365 email account (for my business).  I also have one called "My Calendar" associated with my personal Hotmail account. My two questions are:
    1) Were these created automatically when I added the accounts?
    2) Can I delete these two lists lists and, if so, how?

  • How can I delete the reading list in Safari on iPad 2?

I would like to delete the reading list in Safari on my iPad 2. How do I have to do it?

You can't delete the reading list portion of the bookmarks window. It is built into the app so you can't delete it. That is not optional.
You can delete items from the reading list by swiping Across the item in the reading list to bring up a red Delete button. Then tap that button to delete the item from the list.

Are you syncing via iTunes? Do you want to erase everything on the phone, or just the contacts? If syncing via iTunes, just have it sync to an empty contact list is one way.

How can I delete printed job list Delete jobs grayed

Apple lets you see a list of what is printed out but there is no way to erase the list and mine is two years of all that printed out. I want to erase it but there is no place to get rid of the list or the items on it. Epson said it was an Apple problem. Apple doesn't seem to know the answer. You can only delete jobs when it is not grayed out and it is usually for those you have not printed . I am hoping someone can figure it out.

  • How can i delet all books list

How can i delete and remove all books in my itunes .

You can delete books from the iBooks app on your iPad via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf. If you want to delete them from the Books part of your computer's iTunes library then select them and press the delete button on your computer's keyboard
If you are wanting to permanently delete them from your purchase history then you can't, no item can be permanently deleted. All you can do is hide them so that they don't show in the Purchased links for redownloading : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919

  • You can permanently delete from the list of those that purchased we are not interested? The mac app store?

Hello, you present all applications, often useless toys or free appthat you bought to try but then once you have deleted? In Mac app store in the "Purchased" remain very pretty after a little practice ...you can not delete those that we really sure that will not be restoring your mac? because otherwise it becomes a long line ofuseless and idiotic and outdated app that does not use anymore.
I apologize for my English is not perfect.
    thank you very much

  • I need space, what can I delete in this list?

I really need space, can I delete some files from :
    1. Macintosh > Library > Updates = 1.8 G
    2. Librairy > Caches > Firexfox > Profiles > urlclassifier3.sqlite = 47 M
    3. Librairy > Caches > Firexfox > Profiles > Cache = 532 M
    Many thanks

I would certainly be putting a bigger disc in. Pretty cheap these days and easy to DYI. For the meantime you could go to HardDrive > Library > Printers and delete all the printers you don't use. Same with Modems, just leave the ones you use and download a free App called Monolingual and delte all but you native language. Of course, as per common sense, I would be making sure I had a full backup before doing this. But eventually you really will be needing a bigger disc for the modern computing environment.
    Good Luck
    Pete
Thanks for the info and details.
    What about:
    2. Librairy > Caches > Firexfox > Profiles > urlclassifier3.sqlite = 47 M
    3. Librairy > Caches > Firexfox > Profiles > Cache = 532 M

  • HT4970 How can I email a reminder list on my Ipad?

Is there a way to email a list that was created on my Ipad using the Reminder app?

    In short, no...
BUT, You can sync them to anoth iOS device through iCloud or to "email them" the only suggestion I have is to take a photo of the reminder app when it's open. To do this,  hold power button and immediately press the home button.
Screen will flash and you will find the photo in your camera roll and from there you can email it.

  • How can I delete my contact list on iCloud?, How can I delete my contact list on iCloud?

I have my iCloud account but I want to delete all there. How can I to do this?

Since iCloud accounts are affiliated with Apple IDs, once you create an iCloud account, said account cannot be removed/deleted or merged with a different iCloud account. The only thing you can do is simply not use the iCloud account.

  • Can't delete/remove items listed as not available in shopping cart

i have 2 songs in my itunes shopping cart which are listed as "not available" (under an album title, i assume, because both songs are contained under an arrow). i tried clicking on the "x" button to remove, as well as trying to highlight and delete. neither worked. the songs are stuck in my shopping cart. now, instead of purchasing songs in a group as i normally do, i have to download each of the songs that are available separately.
how do i remove this item (which contains two songs), from my shopping cart?
has anyone else had this problem?
    thanks,
    twon

Figured this out on my own.

  • Can't Delete Geofenced Reminder Created in Siri

Months ago I set up a reminder on my iPhone via Siri, it went something like this: "Remind me to put out the trash when I get home". It worked great! As soon as I got near my house, the reminder popped. I forget what I did at that time, but the notice went away. Now, every time I approach my house, the reminder continues to pop. I would like to delete it, but the problem is, that reminder does not appear on my Reminders app, on ANY device (Mac, iPad, iPhone). However, when I ask Siri to show my reminders on my iPhone, there  it is! However Siri does not allow me to delete them. When I click the reminder from Siri, it takes me to the reminders app, but the reminder does not show. Clearly a bug, however, anyone know a way to clear it?

Flakey Windows Explorer. I d/l process explorer from microsoft and found that explorer.exe had the handle. I don't know why it doesn't release. Opening from Quicktime/RealPlayer rather than double click worked like a charm and no locking occurred. I'm switching to AVI as the nonstreamable auxillary file isn't created.

  • How can I establish additional reminder lists in ios7 on my mini?

I Am unable to add lists to Reminders on my ipad mini using ios7.

Just to close out ... the 'supervisor' was clueless as it turns out.  Apple does NOT have a deal with UPS on handling the Mini, so the person who gave me the info was wrong.  Did he call back?  No ... he just let me go out and find out myself.
So I called again, and this time eventually ended up with a manager, who told me that the UPS Store thing wouldn't work, but that a box would arrive and then there would be a 'forced replacement'.
About 10 minutes later he called back and said he discovered that EVERYTHING the supervisor did was wrong ... he didn't actually properly flag for auto-replace, so I would have gone through an identical cycle again!  So he had to restart the whole process, meaning I would get TWO 'coffins', but that I would then get an auto-replacement and would see that indicated in my support email.
I got the email, saw 'auto-replace'.  Got the box on the 28th and immediately turned it around.  Apple got the box on the 31st, and on the 1st I got emails that my Mini would arrive on the 2nd and it also had the new serial #.
Yesterday I grab the box from FedEx and go home to check it out.  As expected, it IMMEDIATELY worked on my WiFi without issue ... and has worked perfectly since.
    So ...
    - it was NOT my home network.
    - it WAS a hardware issue with the Mini
    - Apple does NOT do proper testing on the Mini to detect what appears to be a fairly common issue.
    - non-retail customers ARE treated as second-class by support.
This issue took FOUR WEEKS to resolve, involved FOUR shipments back & forth, and the ONLY reason it got resolved was that *I* did the troubleshooting that Apple either would not or could not do.
For someone who has been an Apple customer for more than 30 years, this has been a sobering experience ... I quite frankly expected much better from them.

  • How can I delete the list of watched videos on my iPad?

I have been watching videos on my ipad through the iTunes "home sharing" feature. It seems to work fine.
My problem is that I can't figure out how to delete the list (on the iPad) of videos that have been watched. Not only have I watched them but I have also deleted them from my iTunes movies list. I have tried syncing, signing out and back in to the iTunes store, turning off home sharing and then turning it back on again (which requires signing back in), all the while quitting out of the videos app and /or restarting the iPad before and after each of these steps.
The videos are shown as greyed-out icon/thumbnails in the iPad videos app. I am able to add new videos to iTunes, see them as not-greyed-out icons in the iPad app, and watch them. I just can't delete the shown list of the watched videos list on the iPad, which in the case of TV shows collect quite quickly and require lots of scrolling to get to the unwatched video icons.
    Thanks for your help!

    Yes, so...
I have also closed iTunes, reset network settings on the iPad, then shut down and restarted the iPad. Still, I end up with greyed out rectangular icons for all the movies I've ever streamed from my Mac Mini to my ipad via my home wireless router.
Again, I have watched all the way to the end of the movie, selcted the movie in iTunes and chosen "mark as watched", and then deleted it in ITunes.
    Any ideas?
