Hi Angela,
I suspect it's background overhead used by TM leftover from this disk's TM days. Whatever it is, I don't know that there's a way to access it. To get rid of it, format the disk.

The clipboard is a place in memory where text that has been copied from is temporarily stored ready to be pasted elsewhere.
The clipboard cannot be viewed, and is essentially invisible to the user. Copied text will stay on the clipboard until it is replaced by the next piece of copied text.
Probably what happened is you copied your credit card number from somewhere, either intentionally or accidentally (perhaps you made a purchase on your iPad using this card recently), and the clipboard stored the number. Then, whilst you were using Facebook you (accidentally) pasted this credit card number from the clipboard into your Facebook message.
That's the only likely reason I can think of. Hope I explained it well enough!

Hello. I have one song on my iPad mini that I just can't delete. I tried swiping and nothing happens. I don't see it in my iTunes library anywhere on my Macbook Pro and I even tried unchecking 'sync music' in itunes which removed all music from the iPad except this one song. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is it possible that you purchased this song from iTunes then deleted it from your iTunes Library. on your Mac? Check in Settings > Music and see if Show all Music is on. If it is, it will show also music that isn't on your iPad but also music that you purchased and is available for download from iTunes.

Two iPads on same account, I can't delete any apps from old ipad?

I got a new iPad air and have a first gen iPad too. They are both on the same account so when I install apps on the new iPad they automatically show up on the old iPad too. This is actually a good thing because I can have paid apps on both iPads.... The problem is that some of the apps will not install on the old iPad. If I tried to install them directly from the App Store it would not allow it and give me a msg that says I cannot run this app because of the older iOS. But since it is mirroring the new iPad, I have about 15 grayed out icons that are waiting to install. Worse yet, if I press and hold to try and delete them, I get the wiggling icons but no X on any of them... I can't delete the grayed out apps nor can I delete existing installed apps. I have tried a hard reset with no luck. The original PC that I used to manually sync the old iPad with is apart in the attic as we don't use it anymore. Any ideas?

you need to put your phone in recovery mode (search Google) and restore your device as new. All your data will be lost.

After the recent update an old movie showed up in my videos. It will not allow me to edit and delete in videos. Also tried to remove and then sync but the movie doesnt show up when I sync it with Itunes. Its an old movie that I did a digital download years ago. I want the space now. Help

It sounds like this second part with the cloud may be what's happening:
Delete a video from iPad. Tap Edit in the upper right of your collection, then tap on the video thumbnail. If you don’t see the Edit button, look for on your video thumbnails—those videos haven’t been downloaded to iPad, so you can’t delete them.
To only show locally stored videos and not those in iCloud, you would follow these directions:
Go to Settings > Videos, where you can:
Choose to show only videos on iPad (toggle Show All Videos to off)
However if your concern is space, just know that it isn't taking up any space on your iPad, it is stored in the cloud - not locally.

You can swipe across a song in the songs tab of the music app and a red delete button will pop up. You can hold down on an album icon and the X to delete will appear on the icon.

Hi thanks for the reply,
before the update I clicked on the song I wanted to delete then using ctrl and click this brought up a drop down with delete, so you could delete that song. After updating I put a new album on my iphone 4 and it put every track on twice, so I tried the usual way and ctrl click bring up an option to play the song but no delete. Edit doesn't have delete highlighted so you can't delete that way. I have tried so many things on the phone and in itunes but I can't delete any of the doubled tracks. Do you know how I can sort this out ?
