I can't delete my photos in the new iOS7 photo app. I tried shutting the app down and opening it again, but it doesn't help. What should I do?

I had this problem to but I figured it out. Basically the photos are there because your photos on your computer are synced into your phone differently, not sure how it works. But plug in your phone to your computer, open itunes, click on your phone, go to photos and uncheck the "Sync Photos from:" Option at the top. A message should pop up asking whether you want to keep or remove the photos already on your phone. Click remove, and there you go

I recently updated my iphone 4 to the new IOS 7 and when i went to my music all of my old purchases are in my library and it is taking up a lot of space. I tried to just slide to the left to delete them but it wouldn't allow me to. I've tried everything to delete these songs including disabling icloud on my phone. Updating to any iOS version does not magically make media appear on the device. For what reason do you believe this is the case? Do you possibly have iTunes Match turned on?

The old software-app had the function to click for a longer time on a titles beginning letters until a black box revealed the entire name. I miss this function especially for my classical music, because lots of pieces start with similar words. E.g.:

Scrolling in a list of title, I can't distinguish the titles, because just the first words are shown followed by: "...".

Can photos stored in the new Apple Photos be quickly transferred to Lightroom? I am not at all happy with this new apple "fix".

Loaded and organized over 1000 photos into the new Apple Photos. It has virtually no editing capabilities and will not export directly to Photoshop. If you want to maintain that workflow, thats fine, it makes sense to you and I can see an advantage. Personally I use both programs but for different content, never the same images.
To save you a step you could set up a watch folder in Lightroom and export your images from iPhoto/Photos into that. Although it occurs to me that if all you are wanting is to use the Develop Module then skip Lightroom altogether and simply use Adobe Camera Raw via Photoshop/Bridge. Lightroom is a catalog primarily and so is Photos. Mixing the two on same images is asking for problems.
Having said that, if you only have the perpetual license for Lightroom and don't own Photoshop, you don't have much choice.

If photos were synced from your computer then they can't be deleted directly on the iPad, you will need to remove/de-select them from where you synced it from on your computer and re-sync.

If you synced the Photos from your computer to your phone, you have to unsync the pictures via iTunes.
Summary Pane > Photos > Uncheck "Sync Photos from ..."

Also, I have noticed that every once in awhile you can not close tabs you've opened, either by pushing on the X button and/or clicking on the mouse to close it. Although closing the window and opening it again (without closing the Firefox application) seemed to rectify the problem in the short term, it's becoming quite annoying.

First, download the add-on SQManager. This should be included with FireFox, it is really good.

Don't delete the file, just delete the information in the file. My file has over 3600 websites, which go back years!! I did not know they were there, but I was frustrated about not being able to get rid of them. They popped up every time I used the address bar. Clearing my history would not get rid of them.
This is where they are stored!! I found that by deleting the pesky web site from '''moz_hosts''', it does not appear in my address bar anymore!!!
I think that if I just delete all the websites in moz_hosts....

As long as you don't delete the file, just empty it, FireFox won't know the difference. It will just keep adding websites to it until you empty it again.
Why running "clear recent history" doesn't do this, I don't know. You are doing manually what "clear recent history" is not doing.

Content can only be updated and re-downloaded with the Apple ID that was used to buy it. Apple will not combine the content of Apple IDs and Apple will not transfer the content from one Apple ID to another Apple ID.

As far as we can see the error "com.sapportals.wcm.repository.ResourceNotFoundException" is telling that the resource you are trying to delete could not be found, that is also to say, it might not exist any more.
So please let me know exactly how you can reproduc this issue?
and what kind of file it is? under what kind of KM repository?
Is there any other file under the same KM folder?
Also you can reproduce the issue and then check the lastest defaulttrace file under this folder:
../j2ee/cluster/server0/log/defaultTrace.*.trc

In theory, I should be able to keep my albums together this way (once uploaded to macbook pro, i can easily file them into a new album on macbook pro.) Not working for me!
