  • Where can i download itunes 10.3.9 for my mac g5

Hi,i just bought this mac from ebay, which came with a verson 10.3.9 everytime i click software update,it said software up todate already.and my main problem i can't download itune .

Please be very clear on your computer model and what software you are running.  There is conflicting information in your post.
itunes 10.3.9 for my mac g5
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.3.x)
    A Mac Pro is not a G5.
A Mac Pro cannot run OSX 10.3.x
A G5 can possibly run OSX 10.3 if it is an older model and has not been upgraded.  I doubt then that it can run iTunes 10-anything though.
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then  "About This Mac".  Write down what it says about "version"and report that here.
Now continue to "More Info..."  Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).

  • Can I download itunes 11.1 if I have Mac OS X 10.6.8?

I just updated my ipod touch 5 software to ios 7 and now my iMac is telling me I need to download itunes 11.1.  I have Mac OS X 10.6.8, but it is not allowing me to download itunes 11.1.  Please help.  Thank you!

The same thing happened to me.  I have a Mac OS X 10.6.8.  Once I downloaded the IOS 7 on my phone and then connected to iTunes on my Mac it wouldnt let my phone connect.  I had to go to www.itunes.com and "redownload" itunes.  It worked fine after that.  What it is not doing is....it is not giving me the the radio tab when I am in music in my library.  I still have the old internet tab which just gives me streaming radio stations.  Cant figure it out.

  • Can't download itunes 10.7 without updating to Mac OS X 10.6.8

I downloaded itunes 10.7 but cant install it unless i update my software to Mac OS X 10.6.8. I just got the iphone 5 and need to activate but am not able to due to that error message.
When i check software updates thats not available to not sure what to do.

I am am having the same problem.  My macbook is from 2009 and recently stopped updating to the latest software.  Apparently my license agreement or whatever has run out and in order to get the latest software I have to pay for it.  However my mac has been running so slow lately I fear paying to update for fear that my mac will just die.  So sad, my mac has always been so good until recently.  My itunes kept saying it was up to date and it wouldn't update my iphone, so I went to the website and downloaded 10.7 only to find out that I can't install it.  So sad, my computer is officially so outdated that I can't do anything now without paying!  ****....whats a girl to do.  I feel you on this.  Im running on Mac 10.5.8 too, and yep...were just that outdated.

If you want to add songs from iTunes to the iPod, plug it into the computer, select the iPod in iTunes and click the tabs across top to select what you want on the iPod.

These ones are typically caused by underlying problems on the PC that also often cause Windows Updates to fail to install. If we can fix the Windows Update trouble, we can usually get the iTunes trouble cleaned up en passant.
Go into your Windows update and try to check for new updates. If updates install, stock up on the ones you're behind on, restarting the PC if requested to do so. After the restart, try installing iTunes again. Does it go through this time for you?
If windows updates fail to install, go into your Update History and doubleclick the failures. What alphanumeric codes appear for you? (For example, 8007000B.)

  • I can't download itunes 10.3.1 for Windows 7 64 bit

    I can't download itunes 10.3.1 for Windows 7 64 bit.
I tried the suggestion to delete existing iTunes before installing the updated version.
I receive a message that a file is in use when I try to delete iPOD.
I started Task Manager to stop services for iTunes as suggested but it is not listed.
    How do I install iTunes 10.3.1 for Windows 7 - 64 bit?

I got the same message about the network resource that I can't access.  The only difference is that I couldn't install Itunes 10.3 because I can't remove the old version of Bonjour.  I couldn't get rid of anything in add/remove programs, but I went into my program folders and deleted everything that had to do with Itunes.  I also ran a Windows Cleanup Utiltiy.  Nothing will work.  I still can't remove Itunes, Bonjour, Quicktime, MobileMe Control Panel, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Application Support, or Apple Software Update in add/remove programs because they are on a network resource that I can't access even though I deleted them from the program folders.  This is very frustrating!

I researched the advice on the link provided by b noir as well as very similar advice from apple support: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5376. It worked for me (for now).
    Some things of note:
I did all of the things requested by the link I provided
My computer WOULD NOT uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support. I had to manually remove the folder (also as instructed by the url)
I also uninstalled MobileMe. Was a little different than removing the other apps. Follow instructs provided here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2992
    I did not uninstall iCloud
I have to admit it was a bit scary removing all those things. Is important to note that when re-installing Apple, follow steps to do so as Administrator (the right-click thingy and whatnot).
    Hope this helps!

What did iTunes Support say when you contacted them ? If it's been more than 48 hours since you contacted them and you haven't had a reply then contact them again.
If you haven't yet contacted them, then to do so :
    - go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
    - click on your country's flag
    - click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
    - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
    - then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
