I can't download Safari 5 or anything more recent then iTunes 3
I can't download Safari 5 or any of the iTunes updates. It says there is an error and it can't install.
I keep getting an error message when I try to load the new iTunes. It says:
An error occurred during the installation of assembly "Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type="win32".version="8.0.50727.6195",publicKeyToken="1fc8b 3b9a1e18e3b".processorArchitecture="x86". Please refer to Help and
Support for more information. HRESULT:0x80070002.
It also says Apple Mobile Device failed to start.

It is hardly Apple's fault that Epson can't/won't update their driver, but at least Epson suggest that you use the Gutenprint driver, which in any case is far better that what Epson offer.

Safari is part of OS X 10.7.5, and your downloads should be via > Software Update...
Can you provide some details on why you're trying to download Safari? Did Safari get deleteed from the dock or from the /Applications folder? Is Safari failing somehow?
There are ways to re-load Safari using the standard updates, if so. That usually involves re-applying the combo update kits, but I'd not start with that as a suggestion without knowing a little more about what's causing you to seek to re-download Safari...
And FWIW, and this may well be obvious to you, but — based solely on your phrasing, as I don't know how familiar you are with this stuff — recognize that sites claiming to offer {Safari or other web browsers, video codecs, flash players, system performance accellerators, anti-virus software, cache cleaners, games, whatever} can be distributing malware for OS X. Once the tool is downloaded and installed and authenticated, then the tool can do whatever it wants. Put another way, please don't try downloading Safari from anywhere. Please get Safari only from the Apple web site. -
I have an apple ID, I'm trying to use this to update and download apps etc. however, whenever I try this, it keeps asking me to use my old ID, which is attached to an email that no longer exists! I can't download or update anything! Help!
You can log out of the currently logged in account by taping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and you can then log back in.
If you updated your existing account with a new email address then that shoud 'refresh' it on it
If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can redownload its content and download updates to its apps. You should be able to update an account's email address via this page : http://appleid.apple.com -

I just updated my Apple ID to a current email address, it worked on my laptop but my phone is still using the old one and neither password works. I can't download or use anything other than phone calls and texting on my phone now. Help!

I can not download 19 songs that I recently purchased on my laptop. I am getting the message that my Nano is not an authorized device. Even though I have had it for years and it has many songs downloaded from my laptop. I even decided to do the restore and it is still saying that the 19 songs can not be downloaded to my nano. I did recently upgrade my window's 7 version. Maybe this has created the problem.
Yes, the upgrade is the likely cause.
First you should try to deauthorize your computer/iTunes library before attempting to authorize it again. To do this, click the Store drop down menu in iTunes and choose Deauthorize this Computer. Then enter in your iTunes account credentials.
When it has finished, choose Store -> Authorize this Computer and again enter in your Apple ID account credentials.
Finally, try resyncing your Nano to see if that makes a difference.
