I can't download the latest version of iTunes
I tried re-installing Itunes from the website, but a message says "Errors occurred during installation before iTunes could be configured." "Your system has not been modified." I don't know what the last sentence mean,but can you help me?

Based on the information that you gave, you would at least need to update to OS X Lion (10.7), as that is the Mac System Requirements to get the latest version of iTunes. i mean it is the same brand i only use apple products, there should not be inconviniences like this being from the same brand, if it is a different brand like windows or whatever i understand but in this case is different i think

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod....>Sync You Device>Set up Syncing and follow the instructions. -

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Featurs appin the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause
