I can't duplicate a page in Pages on iPhone

I have Pages on my iPhone. Generally, to duplicate a page you hit EDIT, the pages wiggle, and then you highlight the one you want to copy (yellow line surrounds it). I was able to hit the + button at the top to duplicate it. Now, the + button is grayed out, meaning the button is not active. This happenening to anyone else? Is there tech support for this on iPhone if I have to call Apple?

This answer applies to Pages 4/iWork '09 or earlier. I don't use Pages 5 often enough to understand how it handles pages in the sidebar in 5.2.
Pages doesn't "see" a page as you & I do. Pages sees logical pages, separated by section breaks, rather than physical pages. You can see this by showing thumbnails, View > Show Page Thumbnails, & then clicking on a page thumbnail. The yellow border around groups of pages shows the logical page. You need to insert section breaks before & after the physical pages to separate them.

I am unable to duplicate pages in Pages 5.1 as part of a flowing document. This is one of the most basic functions which I do not seem to find any longer in the updated version of Pages. Has this been removed? If so, why would one possible remove one of the basic features???

I use graphics and some templated aspects which need to be replicated on some pages but not others. The pages include graphics, imagery, text boxes.Very frustrating as the previous version of Pages allowed this with one click.

Duplicate current page format

Aloha all,
I'll try to be clear in my description but I'm pretty confused by now. I'm compiling a 115 year list of officers for a certain society and after much work, I've formatted a page with a header and six text boxes spaced precisely within the page as I'd like it. How can I duplicate that page again and again so that I can simply fill in the text within the boxes instead of having to realign the boxes again and again for each page. The "duplicate" button does not work as that seems to just duplicate a box instead of the whole page format. Any ideas?

I think you are talking about grouping objects.
1. They must all be floating objects
2. Command click on each in turn

If you open the Pages panel, (Window>Pages) you will see thumbnails of your master pages and your document pages. In new documents, there is usually a master called A-Master and one called None. If you drag the thumbnail of the None master onto the thumbnail of a document page, it will apply that master to that page. Presumably, you have made your page numbers on A-Master, so this will usually do the trick. If you have elements on A-Master that you need on the first page, but just not the page number, you can duplicate A-Master (which, by default will give you B-Master, but you can change the names if you like) and remove the page number on the duplicate and apply that to the document page.
It might also be worth noting that you can apply master pages in the fly-out of the Pages panel. Go to the fly-out triangle and go down to Apply Master to Pages…, then select a master to apply and the range of pages (1-8 will give you all 8, 1, 3, 5, 7 will be the odds, 1-3, 4, 6-8 if you want continuous ranges and individual pages).

I need to duplicate page 1. If I show the thumbnails view - duplicate page, instead of just adding an identical page 2 - it adds a blank page 2 and then identical page 3. Then on the thumbnail view, both page 1 and 2 have the yellow box round them as if linked. If I try to delete page 2 it deletes page 1 too.
What is going wrong and why is it adding a blank page in between? I've even tried to do it as a Capture Page and add it as a section, but that again adds the blank page.
It is most frustrating!

The yellow box does indicate a linkage. I shows you that all the pages in the box are in the same Section. Individial pages are shown as icons in the thumbnail pane, but there is nothing you can do with individual pages there. Entire Sections can be Copied, Pasted, Deleted or Duplicated. Not so with individual pages. To delete a Page, delete the content of that page, or isolate the page with Section Breaks and delete the isolated page as a section. To add a page, insert a Page Break, or a pair of them. Or, insert a Section Break or a pair of Section Breaks. I think you get the idea.

Hi, my client has had an SEO expert provide them with a document outlining the improvements that can be made to their site to improve SEO. One of the most important items is re Duplicate Home Page content. They have asked that I:
1. Perform a 301 re-direct from http://www.website.com.au/index.aspx to http://www.website.com.au
Was told by BC that it's not possible to do a redirect to or from an aspx page and it's not indexed in the sitemap anyway. Will take their word for it on that.
2. Perform a 301 re-direct from http://www.website.com.au/home-page to http://www.website.com.au
Was told by BC that since /home-page is set as the start page, then it can't be re-directed to itself. This is also where they said to consult the forums for a javascript or some other workaround for this?
Can anyone please assist me with this one?

If I copy/duplicate a page my css-layout changes, even though the pages are identical and use the same (external) css-file.
This is what happens:
I have a 2-column fixed css container. The sidebar and mainContent align perfectly on the original page, but on the duplicate page the mainContent suddenly moves to the right (it somehow adds the width of the sidebar to the margin of the mainContent).
Does anyone know what to do about this?

Hang on. I just checked, and it only happens in the design-view inside dreamweaver. When I preview the pages in my browsers (Safari and Opera, still need to check in IE) the problem doesn't occur. So it isn't as big of a problem as I thought it was. Still very annoying though, so if anyone knows how I can fix the problem in the design/split-view, thanks...

stevejobsfan is correct; iwork for ios is free only for new purchases of new ios devices. A good work around (if you have wifi connectivity) is going to the icloud website on your ipad, and working on your document.
A word of caution (the real reason I am responding to your post). If you do a lot of 'formatting' of a document on iwork for mac, and then save it in icloud; you will probably loose most of the formatting you have done (this will be true if you oppen the document in iwork for ios; also) It happened to me, and I did not duplicate the document before saving it to icloud; I lost at least an hours worth of work.

I am woking in mainland China, so I have to use VPN to open the page of youtube when I am in China. However, since November 2012, I can't open it again with my MacBook Pro (OSX10.7.5 Lion) through the VPN account. Dear Linc Davis, I can open the other pages except those are blocked by the Chinese government ( youtube, vimeo, etc ). But I don't understand why my PowerBook G4 running with Tiger and Saferi 4.1.3 can open those pages with the same connection and the same VPN account ( as I run both Macbooks side by side since this problem occurred ).

let's say a registration form, there is only 1 full address provided in my registration pdf, but applicant could have more than 1 address, so i have to make it more flexible to extend the address page no matter how many addresses that applicant provided, i have use adobe acrobat pro to edit the form properties. but dont know how to extend/duplicate a page in felxible times.
