Hi, i can't change my old credit card which expires at the end of this month and in payment history section i got this:
500 Dispatching Error

and when i'm clicking "edit payment details" in popup i got "Unfortunately something goes wrong from our side. Please try again later...."
pls help?

I can't update my credit card options either, I can enter new card details and save but when I check it again the old card details are still shown. Does it take a while to update my online records or should I try re-entering the card details? and getting the "500 Dispatching Error" too in billing history.

An email from support suggested this; 3) On the Edit Payment Information page, select "None" from the list of credit card types. This will delete your billing information.
But the "none" button is nowhere to be found.

You cannot use an existing Apple ID. Take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. If you wish to use an existing Apple ID, you must provide a payment method.

Go to Store > View My Account > Edit Purchase Info. Then just click "No credit card" and hit Okay, and it will remove all of the info. Good luck.

I have the *exact* same issue I think. Even though I'm running ios8.1, the passbook screen shows the old ios8.0.2 screen which doesn't include the abilty to add a credit card. Also, in the settings screen I don't see the Passbook option (in the section with iCloud and iTunes & App Store) where you're supposed to see the new Passbook option. I called Apple Support last night and they suggested backing up my phone and restoring to ios8.1 factory defaults. Part of the validation for cards is that they are registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account, prepaid cards tend not to be so won't be accepted.
What you owe isn't shown on the payment details screen of your account ? If iTunes gift cards are available in your country then you should be able to redeem them onto you account so that you can your debt, after which you should get the 'none' option so that you can remove the prepaid card.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Click the "down arrow" next to your name at the top right side of the page and click "Account." Enter your username and password and click "View Account" to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click "Edit." Select the "None" button and click "Done." Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.
