I can't email pictures from my computer to my phone

when ever I do, all I get is a text from my email saying the attachment was removed. Am I supposed to use a certain email provider? I've tried gmail, yahoo, and the email on a mac computer. Any suggestions?

What e-mail client are you using?

I know this is an older thread, but FWIW you should be able to open up My Computer in Windows, locate your memory card there, then either drag and drop and/or copy and paste images from your computer's hard drive onto the memory card.

  • Can't copy pictures from NOKIA SUITE to my phone!!...

I cant'copy pictures from Nokia suite to my phone n8,
any ADVICE , i need help because i need those photos.

Simplest way is to connect in madd storage mode instead of pc suite mode via usb and drag and drop, the phone will show as an external hd in 'My Computer' simply open the drive and drag photos from computer to N8, drag and drop is by far the easiest and quickest way to transfer all media to a Symbian phone !

  • Can I move music from my computer to my phone?

    HI everyone,
Just bought a Palm Pre Plus and was wondering if it was posisble to pull MP3 files from my computer to my phone.
Do I need any software installed on my phone or PC before it plug it in via USB?

    06Charger wrote:
If you plug your phone into your computer using USB, tell it "just charge", go into My Computer on your PC, and you should see your Palm Pre Plus as a drive (just like your E: or D: drives).  Open the folder and drag and drop your files.  Hope this helps.
Won't work using "Just Charge" Has to select USB Drive, Just Charge will let Java and stuff access the phones core, But USB Drive is the only way to access the User Drive on the Phone. It also takes the Phone Offline while in USB mode, It's only a flash drive when connected this way. Then Just Drag and Drop.

  • I can receive emails containing pictures but can not send pictures from my computer.

I have gone into my pictures on my computer and right clicked then picked send to, choose mail receipent and then choose picture size as smaller. It looks like it is going to go through to the email so that I can add an email address but nothing happens.
    Please help

Try to compose the message in Thunderbird and then add the picture as an attachment.

  • How can I import pictures from my computer to iTunes without losing my iPhone pictures?

    Hey
I'm wondering how I can import pictures from iTunes to my iPhone. I have taken pictures with a camera, not my iPhone camera. And I got the pictures on my computer, just don't know how to import them to my itunes and then to my iPhone. And I also don't want to lose all my iPhone pictures in my camera roll when I do this.
    Thanks

Camera Roll is the folder on your iPhone which kept all the photos taken from your iPhone Camera or Photos received and saved from your email attachments.  They will remain in that folder until you delete them.  You may, however, import these photos to your Computer if you want to.
    Refer to this article:
iOS: Importing personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
Now the other way round, if you want your Photos from your Computer(whether it's taken from other Digital camera or photos already on your computer) to be transferred to iPhone, you have to sync them over like I mentioned in the first reply.

  • New used computer doesn't have iPhoto so can't transfer pictures from old computer without upgrading new one. Is there a way to download an older version of iPhoto?

I can't access any of my iPhoto pictures from my old computer since the new (used) computer I got doesn't have it. The new one is a newer version but the applestore only has the iLife 11 which would need me to upgrade. I'm not against upgrading I really just want to access these photos. I used an external harddrive to store the pictures from my old computer and am assuming that the only reason they're not showing up on the new one is because it doesn't have the applicatin (makes sense).
Is there a way to get an older version of iPhoto?
The pictures from iPhoto that are on the external harddrive will show up if i had to the application right? Will they show up on a newer version of iphoto even though they're originally from an older version?
Ahh sorry if this is confusing I'm just really frustrated at technology right now..../////

Is there a way to get an older version of iPhoto?
I suggest you don't do that. There is no guarantee it will work right with a more recent OS.
Install the correct version of iPhoto for the version of Mac OS X you are running. (Which is what?) The folks here will tell you how to get to the Library on the external drive when you provide more info about your computer.

  • How can I move pictures from my computer to my ipad?

can i move pics from a non apple computer to my ipad?  If so, how?

Yes - there are instructions on how to sync them via iTunes here : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236 . As only the contents of the last photo sync remain on the iPad, you need to sync all the photos that you want in one go, so if you want to sync multiple folders they will need to be directly off the same parent folder so that they can be selected together. Not including a folder in a subsequent sync is the way that you delete that folder/album from teh iPad.
You can also use third-party apps which can transfer photos via your wifi network to and from your computer (the photos will only go into the camera roll/saved photos album so you have less control in terms of destination than with syncing) e.g. Simple Transfer, which also has a free 'lite' version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer

  • After upgrading to OS X, can't email pictures from iPhoto.

I cannot email photos selected in iPhoto.  I click the email icon, as I have always done, on the bottom of the iPhoto page.  Email opens, I type in my message but, when I hit send, nothing happens.  Not only that but I can't delete the stuck e-mail either without shutting down my computer.

  • Friend can't open pictures from me once I switched phones

Hey, I just got a refurbished iPhone 4 from AT&T, and now my friend can't see any pictures that I send her... All of my other friends can see pictures that I send them... and this particular friend could see the pictures that I was sending from my old iPhone 3GS... anyone have any ideas? We both have data plans on our phones that allow MMS messages
My MMS is turned on, and nothing has changed on her phone... she gets a picture message, but when she tries to open it, it just has a question mark... like... did the format of pictures change between the iphone 3gs and 4?

    Phil3Mac:
You might be able to set the permissions so that both can read and write by download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administartive name in as the owner and and select a group that both you and your wife's accounts are a member of. Make sure that group has read and write and I think that should let both add and edit photos there.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
