I can't enable Home Sharing in both PC, iPhone 4S and IPad 2. i enabled them but my IPhone couldn't find my iTunes Library in my PC
The iPhone 5 requirements are:
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac:
Mac: OS X v10.6.8 or later
iTunes 10.7 or later
So, upgrade your MacBook system to Snow Leopard OS 10.6.x Then you can sync both devices.
Cheers, Tom

i have a iphone 4 and i have forgtten my passcode but i do not have acess too itunes is there a way i can do a hard rest manually ??
The only thing you can do when you have forgotten the passcode is to restore the device as a new phone. A restore requires a computer and iTunes. If you have the computer you normally sync with, you could restore from a backup and not lose any content, however if you don't have that computer, you will lose all content with a restore. If you don't have that computer, you can restore with any computer that has iTunes.

Hi my dad has my laptop and i need to transfer everything to my new iphone5 that i got reacently but thing is i cannot do that because he lives in asia so i can't get a hold of my laptop to transfer everything can i use home sharing even if he is that far ? to transfer all the materials to my iphone5 or is it possible if i use homesharing on my iphone4s to share the music apps.. ect. to my new iphone? please and thank you
If you are using the same iTunes library (meaning the exact same iTunes folder), it should work fine.

Can I use home sharing for AppleTV with Time Capsule and have my iMac powered off?
I wish to be able to use AppleTV without having my iMac powered on. Is there a way to have my iTunes library on my Time Capsule so I can use AppleTV directly from it?
I use an external hard drive with my iMac and have an iTunes folder there (that sometimes it points to automatically, but sometimes I have to go under advanced and show the iMac to use that iTunes folder because it defaults to the internal iTunes folder on the computer).
Make sure the external drive is powered on and mounted on the desktop before launching iTunes. -
Can i use my laptop which is running Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade from Vista to stream photos using ICloud. The outlook programme used is 2003 and i my devices are IPad mini and IPhone 5. My problem is that i able to drag pictures into ICloud for it to send to my devices but nothing happens. Why?
I am grateful for any advice.A hard drive if it has failed will sometimes allow you to boot into windows but may not work completely (Eg: In a scenario, where system partition ;where windows is installed works fine but logical partition of hard drive has gone bad).
On certain conditions, if the hard drive is on verge of failure may/may not respond completely. I would suggest you to run a diagnostics using Seagate Seatools which works on any hard drive irrespective of manufacturer to actually confirm if your hard drive has failed.
Also, any hard drive can fail in spite of it been 1yr old or 1day old as its all manufactured in bulk and most of it comes from China

I don't know why I can't open Home Sharing working now?
I don't know what's wrong?
Today, when I turned on Apple TV, it can't connect to my iMac. (internet is workable and can be detected by Apple TV)
I tried to re-open Home Sharing, but it's strange that "Sharing" selection can't be kept in iTune List when I issued "Done".
What's wrong to my iTune? What's wrong to my Home Sharing ?
Thanks, and please help.iPad-settings, movies, home sharing. Music-home sharing. Both under settings on the iPad. Enter your apple I'd and password in both spots. If you have a computer, turn on homesharing on iTunes as well. Homesharing has to be all turned on with the SAME apple I'd. Even if it's your iPad and a wife's iPad, pick one apple I'd and put that apple I'd in both of those spots even if it's not your iPad. Kinda confusing.

How can I use home sharing between our iphones, so that we can create playlists with songs from both of our libraries? We share a Macbook Pro (separate accounts) and each have the new iphone, but when I have my iphone and try to create a new playlist, I can only grab songs from one account. Is there a way to create a playlist using both accounts since we are sharing?
Does it have to be created within iTunes first on our Mac?The short answer: because Home Sharing isn't designed for sharing apps, and apps aren't designed to be shared.
The longer answer: Think of it like this...
You download some music in iTunes. With Home Sharing, another user can listen to it by streaming it over the network. But the data itself is on your computer. If you turn off the computer or take it off the network, the other user can't access it.
But if you send another user the app, they aren't just streaming the data- they installed it on their iOS device. Because they weren't the one that purchased it, such a transfer could easily be considered "piracy" or "stealing," and nobody likes that (least of all, Apple).
When iTunes sees this app, it obviously recognized it, as if saying, "Hey, how did you get this app on your device, if I have no record of you purchasing/downloading it from the iTunes store?"

I can't get home sharing to turn on on my computers. I have a PC running windows XP that has a large library on it that I want to access from a newer windows 7 PC. I have turned home sharing on in both, same apple ID. I just will not come up. Any ideas?
Ugh, disregard.. it magically started working -_-

Can i use home sharing if me and my wife have different apple ID accounts?
can i use home sharing if me and my wife have different apple ID accounts?
Yes.
You need to sign into home sharing using ONE Apple ID. So either pick yours or hers, use the same one for home sharing on the computers. Once they are signed in on both Macs you can access media that the other user purchased.
Click the 'Shared House' for her library (if you have the sidebar enabled) when you are in your iTunes to access her media & vice versa, both iTunes needs to be running & awake. -
i had the same errors, went to my settings on my macbook air, enabled sharing then back into itunes and enabled home sharing and it worked
osx 10.8.3Success!
I solved my problem by changing guest account passwords. I tried to keep things simple by using the same guest password on both computers. This however allowed FS to log on to TP without guest password for some unknown reason. My logic would tell me that having the same guest password would allow both computers to log in without password but this wasn't obviously the case. I guess Windows has its own logic that I can't figure out or this issue had something to do with different language setups. Anyhow my shares work now like I want them to work.

I'm looking for something cheap to replace a 2006 iMac and avoid being forced to a Windows machine at work. Doesn't need to scream, and I've got keyboard/mouse/monitors, so the new 2014 entry mini would be good. But I'd prefer 8GB, and a small amou

Oracle Apps secure code review
Is any documentation available (either Oracle or third party based) to guide secure code reviews for Oracle Apps (or more specifically, Oracle Application Framework)? I'm aware of the usual sql injection bad practices (as related to JDBC and PLSQL).
