I can't enter iCloud. Keeps telling me how to create an account?
For the third time iCloud refuses to let me enter my iCloud account. It goes straight to how to set up your account, download find my iPhone etc. my account is active, works perfectly on my MacBook Pro, and I'm logged in correctly in Account Settings. Another note: when I re-check my iCloud account in Settings, it shows I've entered a shorter password ******** rather than my 11 digit password which I've just put in. Thoughts?

You're welcome.
You can't go to icloud.com from your iPhone or iPad but you don't really need to because all the data is already on your devices. The data on icloud.com is the same data that is on your phone and iPad. The only thing on icloud.com that isn't is Find My iPhone, but Apple provides a free Find My iPhone app that you can download to your devices from the App store so you can use that on your iOS devices too.

You can't create an iCloud account on a PC. What is the exact error message you are seeing?

Not after forgetting the answers. You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Lion is required to see the iCloud Preference Pane: this is an upgrade, not an update, and has to be paid for. If you want to install Lion, go to the Mac App Store and purchase and download it there ($29.99).

You don't need to create an account. Your use your Apple ID to log into Facetime.
If you haven't already you will need to download the Facetime App from the Mac App Store.

I just got my first iPhone. I really like it but it will not accept my apple ID. It keeps telling me the password or id is wrong. I know it is write due to I use it for iTunes and it works find there. Can anyone help me or do I need to call tech support?
ThanksEnded up calling apple and got this fixed. Had to change id since it was made years ago with the old style of IDs.

When you open terminal have you tried the command, without the quotes "dsenableroot"? You must be logged in as a local admin to do this.
If you try this, terminal will ask you for your admin account password then you can enter a new password for root and verify the new password. Exit terminal Log out and log back in with username root and the password you put in for the root account when you were in terminal.
There is a definite problem, or actually a couple of problems, with the directory utility when trying to enable root from directory Utility / edit. Going the dsenableroot in terminal clears these problems out. -

It is a problem if you can;t download/install apps. If you are sure that the card data is correct and the card is valid I would contact the itunes store. I would go here and select iTunes Store Account and Billing.

Can't use iMessage due to "bad connection" I have full signal an WiFi. Can't use half my apps. Everything I have an use tells me to connect to iTunes just to use push notifications. I'm getting real sick of this of this an need help...quickly?
Here's a qustion for you:
I purchased music on my PC and I home share iTunes between my Mac and PC. My Mac is authorized but every time I want to play the music I purchased on the PC via home sharing, it says the Mac is not authorized. I confirm the account associated with it and all it will say on my MAC is that the computer is authorized, but it won't play the music lol. Is this due to DRM? -

I worked it out. After selecing mail, contacts and calanders, you get a choice to symc only some data and then another choice to chose which.
All my iCloud data (except the extra Outlook category colouring) was still there.
If you need specifics on how it works, there are sone very good links at this website http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/icloud-and-outlook-problems/. You won't find Apple giving this much away.
