I can't find a recent post on transferring mp3 to podcast.

I have searched but haven't found anything recent on how to move a mp3 (which is really a podcast) to podcast? Is it still possible? Thanks

I remember, though, reading about this recently and there was mention newer iTunes (which I cannot run) have simplified this, probably through changing "kind" in the get info window for a track.

Can't find a recent download?

Ok so I downloaded an app (Greenfinder) and went through the whole process. They then told me the icon would appear on my main page but it did not. They said if it didn't then go go downloads and move it. Well when I went to downloads it is not there. I've looked in every folder and can't find it. I then thought I would download it again in hopes that would fix the problem. When I went to download it I got a message saying I already had the most recent download and did I want to continue and replace it so I did. Even after that I am unable to find the program. I've sent a message to their technical support but was hoping somebody would have a quick fix for me?
Any help would be appreciated!

Your Tour has GPS built-in to the device. Greenfinder is basically a GPS application, using your GPS signal to correctly map and show distances on the courses.
You can move it from Setup by scrolling to the icon and highlighting over it (not clicking on it) and press Menu > Move to Folder and then choose which folder you want it placed in, or on the homescreen.

I logged in today, being asked for name update. I can not find my latest posts

Today I logged in to the forum, being asked for update of my name. Once done this I can not find any link how to get to my recent posts, or they disappeared. I was on the forum 3 days ago and everything was OK....

Help...I can not find my IMP post.

I posted about IMP 2 weeks ago but I can not find it :(
It was about import (imp) the old style. I ask how to import my tables from prod which has lots of tablespaces to a target test database with tablespace to use is USERS only.
I remember someone suggest something like to make a "0" quota for all other tablespace.
I can not find it anymore.
I already searched by dates. Any helpful tips on how to search lost post?

For example: in my PROD export dumpfile ( tablesapace used are: ts1,ts2,ts3,ts4)
and in my target test database, I want it to be shoot all in USERS tablespace.
So i will alter user quota 0 on SYTEM, SYSAUX, UNDO, TEMP tablespaces ?

I've searched the website and all I can find is how to manage my passwords, etc... I want to view my purchases and can't find it anywhere.

already signed in and no option for purchase history-only order history which is different. Older posts with the answer on the support site say Apple is not supporting updates. Will have to look further.

I can't find my recently purchased music files.

When opening it says original file can't be found. Looking the info tab says the file is located on file://localhost/users/usersname/music/.... I can't find this location anywhere. Can anyone help?

Where can i find my files that i transferred from my old computer

I recently purchased a new mac book pro, and using the migration assistant to transfer over my whole itunes library because i have a lot of songs and dont want to have to add them manually all over again. I transfered the music files and the migration assistant said that every thing was complete, but when i went to look for the file, i could not find it. Where would the file be??

Have you tried spotlight? Have you looked in you home folder? Can you find your 'Music Folder'?

If you cannot find it, down load OmniDiskSweeper (free) from the Internet and open it. You might be able to locate it with this application.

Where can I find the music file I THINK I just downloaded from my Windows library to my ipad? Watched the progress unfold on my PC, but once is was completed, when I click on the music icon on the mini desktop, it does not pull up the file. Manual proved usleess. :{

I clicked everywhere, but no prompts told me what to do this time!

Can't find my iTunes library after transferring it from Windows to Mac

I've followed all the steps to transfer my iTunes library from an HP laptop with Windows XP to a MacBook Air using the Windows Migration Assistant, but when the process is finished (after waiting for more than 8 hours), I can't find where the library has been saved.
I'd be really grateful if you could tell me where I can find it or if there's a problem with my computers.

Migration Assistant creates a new user with the migrated data, so it probably created another user. To access to it, go to  > Log Out, and log in the new user. Then, your photos should be in Pictures folder.
If you want to merge them with the other user, you can use an external drive or the Shared folder to transfer them to the first user

Can I find the date when I transferred some files to someone else's pc?

Hi, have a MacBook Pro but don't really know how to use it!
I need to find out the date when I transferred some files to someone else's computer. Is there an area with some sort of history of actions where I can see what I did?

(Woggledog, I think the OP is trying to find out the date the files were copied from the Mac, not to the Mac.)
If you are trying to determine when you transferred the files +without access to the PC that they were transferred to+, you are out of luck, I'm afraid. There's no log for that information. If you can access the PC the files were transferred to, the created/accessed dates on the PC will reflect the move. But I suspect you can't access that computer, which is why you're seeking a log of some sort...
How did you move the files? If you used a flash drive, for example, and still have that, check there...even if the files were deleted from the drive, they may be recoverable.

Hi Manuel,
1. There is no way you can post it into system without opening the period.
2. It is also not appropriate for you to do posting by opening the closed period.
Therefore the only possible solution that I can think of is, you go ahead with the posting of correcting journal in the current period with the DOCUMENT DATE of when it should have been posted. if the Cashflow report is based on the document date then it should solve the purpose.
Thats the only solution that I can think of.

External Lacie drive crashed, now I can't find a recent backup for LR3 catalog.

I have LR3 on a Mac running OS 10.6.8. My catalog, cache and images were stored on an external Lacie 1TB drive (partitioned so it can be used by a pc and mac). My catalog backup files were saved on another external drive MXTR as well as copies of all my images. The Lacie had started self ejecting while running LR3 and I thought it was maybe a problem with the cable, as it would work fine after rebooting. Yesterday it crashed LR3 and never remounted. I used Disk Utility to try and repair the disk and it instructed me to erase the disk and start over. I was not worried, since my catalog was backed up to another drive. 10 hours to erase the drive (the drive never quit during this time). Another 2 hours to copy my images from the MXTR to the Lacie (again the drive never self ejected during this time either). So now I go to find my most recent backup catalog. The most recent one I could find was dated 2/09/2012. I am baffled. What happened all those times I was backing up? I upgraded to LR3 in 2011, and I don't remember ever telling it to backup to another folder or drive.
Any ideas as to what the problem may be?

We can't possibly know what happend or where your backups are. But you can indeed search all of your available hard disks and see if there are any files named *.LRCAT with recent dates.
By the way, I would be extremely wary of using that Lacie drive any more. If it was me, I'd replace it.

How can i find my recent iPad backup in time machine?

hope somebody can help me here.
I had to reset my iPad due to the home button issue (this by the way seems to be a hardware issue since it did not dissapear after the reset :-( )
Unfortunately iTunes created a new back-up of my iPad at the end of this reset procedure (i.e. it is a back-up of an empty ipad).
Now I would like to re-install and configure my iPad based on a back-up couple weeks ago.
If I open Time Machine, what do I need to do find and use this particular older iPad-back-up for reinstalling my ipad?

Have you checked that the older backup isn't still in iTunes? If you have checked, and it's not there, see below.
Triple-click the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:
~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar and paste into the box that opens by pressing command-V. You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return. A folder should open. Restore the contents of the folder from a backup. Relaunch iTunes.

we need to find out the gl post date. we have a field 'gl date' which will refer to the accounting date but we are looking for accounting entries posted date in gl from an invoice. to be very particular we want the table and field name of gl posted date of an invoice.Appreciate any inputs

If you query the ap_invoice_distributions_all table, you will see an accounting_date field. That is the accounting date that was used when the accounting was transferred to GL.
The same accounting_date should match the xla_ae_headers table.
The xla_ae_lines_all table has a gl_sl_link_id column which links to the gl_je_lines table.

I can't find the recent purchase option on my itouch to redownload

It's as simple as that, whe I go to the itunes store on my itouch it only shows what I can buy, NOT what I already got. My iphone 4 did, so why not my itouch? I no longer have the iphone and I don't have a computer to go to the itunes store online. The only way I can go to the store is thru my itouch and again it doesn't show my recent purchases....... how can I fix this. And yes I tried looking at my account info but it doesn't show up there either.
