I can't find an iPhoto alias library.

I have 2 libraries, a password protected iPhoto alias and my regular default library. When I open the alias folder it takes me to my default library instead of the alias library. I don't open it that often so I'm not sure when the link was broken, possibly after the upgrade to mavericks. My regular library is 33GB and my alias is 7.2GB. I only mention that because when I view 'get info' the alias looks like it is still pointing to the correct 7.2GB library, but when I open it I am back in my default library.
I have iPhoto 9.5.1 and OSX 10.9

There's no such thing as an "alias folder" and there's no way to password protect an iPhoto Library (or an alias, for that matter).
An alias is a shortcut to something else. One might have an alias on the desktop pointing to a fequently accessed folder, for instance.
You can put an iPhoto Library on a password-protected disk image.
So, you're going to need to explain what set up you've got there.

After recovering my hard disk (erasing everything because of performance issues) and reinstalling everything from Time Machine i can not find my iPhoto library anymore. I know it has to be somewhere because every single thing was copied correctly so i am also assuming iPhoto library would be copied correctly. However i can not find it in finder (it is not in the default location and i know it never was).

Is there one shown? If not download and run Find Any File to search for a file with "ThumbJPGSegment" in the file name. There are files common to all versions of iPhoto libraries with that as part of the file name..
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages. If there's a library hiding somewhere on your hard drive FAF will find it.

Can I find an iphoto events in time machine

Using a macbook pro with Lion 10.7 how can I find an iphoto event in time machine hard drive back up. When I look in picture folder for a back up date I see some individual pictures and an icon for iphoto library. I thought clicking on that would show me iphoto application with the events just as it looks in current time only with the events of the past date. It does not.

Not really - you need to restore the iPhoto library then open it with iPhoto - iPhoto can not access TM backups - they have to be restored first

When you launch iPhoto with the option key depressed you'll get this window:

All libraries on your hard drive (and on external drives) will be listed and the currently used library will be listed as (default).

iPhotos has been replaced with a new app called Photos. If it completed migrating your iPhoto Library, all your images are now also in Photos Library(Events are now Albums in a folder named iPhoto Events.
iPhoto and iPhoto Library remain on your drive and work as before.
How to get iPhoto 9.6.1 if you didn't update before OS X10.10.3.

Is your "home computer" the same as your laptop or are these two different machines?

Use the media browser. In every open/attach window in tithe lower left hand corner under media ==> photos ==> iPhoto

As in purchased it 4 minutes ago, or 4 years ago? The new versions of iTunes are always very reliable at having songs show up in the main library display window when an item is added. Does your song appear in Recently Added? Have you checked your media folders to see if the song is actually on your computer but it is just iTunes that is having conniptions?

You now need to import those files into Lightroom.
BTW, Lightroom uses a "referenced" system so your images will always be in the folders you download/copy them to. Lightroom is a database first and foremost, albeit with non-destructive editing capabilities (effectively Adobe Camera Raw).

Your user library is hidden by default in Mavericks.
You can reveal it from the Finder's "Go" menu in the main menu bar:
Finder > Go
Then hold down to options-key ⌥, until "Library" appears in the drop-down menu. Select it and open the Library. Then look for the folder "Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins".
Alternately you could install the plug-in for all users in "/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins", in the "Library" folder directly on your sytem drive.
