I can't find blur gallery to edit pins

When Blur Gallery is active, look at menu item View > Show > Edit Pins. If it's not ticked then click it to enable visible pins.

  • Saw a poss solution to my prob of loosing tab groups when closing firefox It read ". Edit Preferences Privacy "I can't find prefernces under the edit menu"

    Firefox V30.0
I saw a poss solution to my prob of loosing tab groups when closing firefox It read ". Edit > Preferences > Privacy "I can't find references under the edit menu" so cannot attempt the fix offered?

Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
Delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
    See also:
App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the sessionstore.js file in the Firefox profile folder.
You can check for problems with the sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak files in the Firefox profile folder that store session data.
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Multiple_profile_files_created
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups and open and closed (undo) tabs to get lost and you will have to recreate them (make a note or bookmark them if possible).

  • Lightroom can't find Photoshop CS3 to edit files?

I installed Lightroom, and then the 1.1 update when I had Creative Suite 2 installed on my Sony Vaio laptop.
I've since installed Creative Suite 3, and uninstalled CS2...
Now, when I try to edit a photo from Lightroom, it can't find Adobe Photoshop. The only way I can edit in photoshop from Lightroom is to set Photoshop CS3 as an 'external' editor.
How can I reset Lightroom to recognise that I've got Photoshop CS3 installed?
    Cheers,
    J.

    Hi Wick,
The 'external' editor is called by CTRL-ALT-E.. Lightroom appears to keep CTRL-E purely for Photoshop, and this isn't editable...
However, I have solved the problem.. well, at least found a workaround... I don't know what caused it - perhaps the uninstallation of CS2 AFTER installing CS3?
If you have this problem, you'll need to add the following key to the registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\photoshop.exe
create a new string value called "path" that contains the path to your photoshop.exe file.
Then Lightroom will find photoshop and you can edit using CTRL-E again and still keep a secondary editor!

  • Upgraded hardware and can't find my site to edit.

OK. I'm an idiot. I just upgraded my hardware. I have an internet site which I created on iWeb and has been up for a year. My problem now is that, since my hardware upgrade, when I open iWeb my site does not open for editing. I can't find it.
    Where is it hiding?
    Lost moron here.
    Help appreciated.

  • Widget can't find mobileme gallery

Question has been asked before, but is archived and not resolved. I have several mobileme galleries, but when I call up the widget in iWeb, it says I have no galleries and to post one. The galleries show up in the media browser to the side, and I can even drag one and make a traditional web gallery in iWeb. Everything recognizes the mobileme galleries except the iWeb widget to create mobileme galleries.

As you have found out that's been an ongoing problem with iWeb.  You link a thumbnail photo to any one of a MobileMe gallery's modes, grid, mosaic and shown on this demo page: iPhoto/MobileMe Galleries.
Or you can embed a MMe gallery into your iWeb page using the grid or mosaic mode with an HTML snippet and iframe code like here: MobileMe Galleries
Another option is the method Wyodor developed and discusses in his past in this discussion: iWeb 3.0.3 and mobileme galleries particularly the first of the two links he provided.

  • Can't find photo that was edited in photoshop in iPhoto

    Hello,
I do all my photo editing in Photoshop Elements 6. I save the edited photo in the iPhoto library (same place as the original photo), but when I go back to iPhoto, I cannot find the edited photo, only the original. Any idea where it is or how I can view it in iPhoto? I am using iPhoto '08.
    Thank you!

    Ozark:
Here's how you should be using Photoshop Elements 6 with iPhoto:
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 6 the Saving File preferences should be configured: "On First Save: Save Over Current File". Also I suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.≤br>
Note: There now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

  • How can I find the panel to edit brushes?

whenever I press f5, all I get is the bottom right panel (highlighted in red). What I want, is the second image, the panel to edit brushes. I can't seem to find it. Going view -> brushes or window -> brushes does not work.
    image 2:

RK has given you more info.  Workspace is how your panels (pallets) are arranged.  The default is Essentials, which you will find on the right side of the Options bar at the top of the screen.  There are different Workspaces for different uses of Photoshop, some of which will be selected automatically according to what you are doing.  3D and the video Timeline are two examples.
Or you can make your own.  Arrange the panels to the way you like them, and click on Essentuals and choose 'New Workspace'and save with a name of your choice.
When things get messed up, you can reset the current workspace to bring it back to standard.  But I fell into a daft trap when suggesting that you reset yours, because I was focused on my own Dual Screen workspace that has the brush panel open permanently.  You are probably using a single screen, so resetting would have achieved nothing.
But the way I access brushes is to use the lower pen button on my tablet, with the pen placed just to the right of where I am working.  That is super quick and leads to a fluid workflow.  You can do the same thing with the right mouse button.

  • [SOLVED]Nano can't find some files to edit Locate can't find ...

Hi! You've maybe heard this thousand times before, but I'm new to Arch Linux and Unix commands, so this is maybe stupid question and bla bla bla... but that's why there's Newbie Corner, right? I'm running Arch with LXDE on quite old and tired HP desktop, if that's important.
So, I'd like to have terminal right on my desktop, like hard core linux guys do. I googled a bit and found some how-tos. Tried to find file autostart.sh for openbox, didn't find it with command line nether graphical file browser, so I created one with nano to /home/user/.config/openbox folder, that's allright? After that, I'd like to edit rc.xml file. There's no such file (or at least I could't find one), so I tought that the file lxde-rc.xml in same folder is my target - graphical browser shows me that folder, Nano don't. Still on the map? BUT, there's where a problem occured - if I try to open the file for editing with Nano, there's just blank file. Tried several times, so it's not up to some misspelling or anything like that. There's been similar situations before, so is there something wrong with my installation, filesystem or Nano? I tried command 'locate' too, and it didn't work, too. What am I supposed to do?
And notice that question is about the Nano thing, Lxterminal on desktop isn't so important compared to undestandin my system tools and their behavior.

β ™ wrote:Why are you using sudo when editing user files?
Yes, that's stupid. Maybe that's because I don't exactly know, which files I'm able to edit without sudo. Everything in folder /home?
Why are you editing anything in openbox directory if you are running LXDE?
I know that LXDE uses Openbox as a windowmanager, so that's why. Is that files in the Openbox directory are only for pure Openbox-session, and then other Openbox directories for LXDE-Openbox-session?
Do that all sounds like I should reinstall everything except base packages for Arch and start over with some more education, or is it worth learning to try to configure my current system... Jet there is not too much stuff insalled after the base system, only Lxde, office and Chrome browser.

  • Where can I find details about video editing in CS6?

It looks like CS6 treats video adjustments almost like layers, but the screen interface does not really show whether that is so. Is it? Also, I am curious what default file format is being used by the File Save As dialogue where video is concerned. It only shows a PSD format but the saved file seems to act like the original MOV file. And the MOV format is not actually offered as an option. Can I get more details about these issues? BTW there are some great new features!

  • How do I widen Bookmarks on new Win7 64-bit laptop? Can't find userChrome file to edit (FF 25.0.1)

I have an edited userChrome.css file that I've taken from one computer to another that has settings like the width of the Bookmarks column in it. In the past, I've just pasted it into the right folder in Profiles, overwriting the old one, but I don't see any "usercrhome.css" anywhere on my C drive. I'm guessing that things are different in FF25 (which I've just upgraded to on this new computer). So now how do I widen the Bookmarks column?

'''userChrome.css''' and the '''/chrome/''' folder doesn't exist until the user creates them. The /chrome/ folder and the example-userChrome.css file were removed from Firefox many versions in the past, and need to be created manually or by using an extension such as ChromeEdit Plus.
