I can't find /Library/Frameworks on Mountain Lion. Is somebody having the same issue?
I am using Mountain Lion and I managed to unhid the Library folder. I was downloading packages from the net and according to the R terminal the packages are stored in
"/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.15/Resources/library"
but when I go to the Library folder I can't find the Frameworks directory.
Somebody has any suggestions on where to search for the /Library/Frameworks ?

The hidden ~/Library folder is in your User.
"/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.15/Resources/library" is in your top level Library.

For that issue, quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar top of your screen click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Click Go
Move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguration folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store and try downloading MLion.

Since I've installed Mountain Lion, I am having lock up issues with multiple programs. MS Outlook has crashed and I've lost all my folders. HELP?
okay I've finally been able to get tor and all the other programs to work according to my plan the only thing that's still making problems is that iptables doesn't work as I want it to, when I start chromium without proxy settings privoxy doesn't seem to forward the information to polipo.. do I need to add another rule to iptables.rules in order for the program to know it has to reroute the information again or how can I get this to work? and is there any way to run rtorrent with proxy support?
anyway, problem 2 and 3 are still to be solved.
and does anybody know where i can get a good dansguardian blacklist that was not designed for 6 year old children and for which I don't need to subscribe? I'm still getting these partypoker popups -.-

Verizon iPhone 5, 64GB black - is anyone having issues with a very choppy conversation while talking on the phone? Both my wife and I have the same phones and are both having the same issue. We can only hear every other word of the person we are talking to. This happens at home, on the road and in the downtown area while calling both cellphones and landlines. Can't find networked printers in mountain lion
Tyring to setup Mountain Lion with a networked printer. Does not show up when trying to add printer. This seems to be happening on any Mountain Lion computer that I setup. (10.8.x) Adding networked printers in Lion worked just fine, but not in Mountain Lion.
Anyone have any ideas?Printers don't advertise on Windows. The Windows print server can be configured to advertise a printer, but usually you must enter the details of the device to add it.
As for Mac, it sounds like you're talking about multiple network printers as opposed to a single network printer.
Do you know if the printer in question supports Bonjour?
How is this printer connected to the network - wireless or wired?
Can you ping the printer?
Can you connect to its internal web page?
If you use a utility like Bonjour Browser, does this see the printer on the 10.8 Mac?
You may want to give some specific examples instead of a blanket statement. -
Mountain Lion install, now having hard drive issues.
Download of OS X Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store went well, but then went t install it and suddenly I have a big problem with my hard drive. Disk repair can't even solve it. All worked perfectly before this. Ugh. My MacBook Pro is now telling me I need to format my drive and Restore from a backup. What gives?
Well, after working with it as much as I could, to no avail, I took it to the Genius Bar. They had to reinstall OSX Mountain Lion, then I had to restore from my Time Machine backup. It's been hours getting everything to work again, and I needed to reinstall a lot of my software. This is an issue that Apple needs to address. Before you move to Mountain Lion, make sure you Verify and Repair your HD.

After Downloading Mountain Lion IMAC is having bluetooth sleep issues.
After downloading Mountain Lion my 21" IMAC is fine untill it goes into sleep mode for an extended period of time. When I try to wake the IMAC with the Bluetooth keyboard or mouse it will not wake up. I have to hold the power button down for 5 seconds. This does not happen untill the IMAC has been in sleep mode for a wihile (I don't know the amount of time) but if I am at the IMAC and it goes into sleep I and wake it with know problem it has to sleep for a while for the issue to kick in.
ThanksOpen Disk Utilities (Applications - Utilities - Disk Utilities) and run Repair Disk Permissions and then restart the computer and retest.

Whenever I try to update my apps from my 4S iPhone it says " can not connect to iTune store.". I can do the same from my Mac PC with same password.
Try logging out of your account on the iPhone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

Where can i find Bluetooth Explorer on Mountain Lion??

It appears there are two programs called 'Bluetooth Explorer'. One made by Apple, which is part of the Xcode toolkit. And the above-mentioned one that is made by a private developer and is available in the Appstore.
I've got the feeling you are looking for the Apple made one, since that does give you information about the BluetoothAudioAgent. (something the Appstore one doesn't do) This program used to be installed as part of the Xcode toolset. But is now made available separately in a bundle called 'Hardware IO Tools for Xcode' (can be downloaded from the Apple developers webpage --you'll need a (free) developer account)
Now, that being said, you will indeed be able to change the audio bitrate with it. But Bluetooth Explorer does not give one too many options, for more improvemtents you will need to edit the plist: ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.BluetoothAudioAgent.plist
The Bluetooth Explorer is however very good for debugging the edits you made to this file.

When I try to purchase Mountain Lion i get an error message: "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed."
I can purchase other apps, why not Mountain Lion. I get the same message on my wife's IMAC.The only thing that worked for me was to boot in safe mode.
Power down. Then press power button and hold 'shift' key until grey screen with progress bar appears... Once booted and logged in just open safari and browse to applestore.
No trouble at all once I did this.

TS4065 Dimmed "Find my Mac" with Mountain Lion
I have Mountain Lion.
I get the same dimmed "Find my Mac", but instead of "Update" I have a "More" button.
When I press it, it tells me that "Find my Mac needs a recovery partition".
The recipe given here doesn't work because I have Mountain Lion.

I then recuparated my data from the Time Machine. All went fine. I see that the "Recovery HD" was created.

Yes I can reboot the from the recovery HD. I then followed the procedure described here:

Having the exact same issue. Also, on right click, many apps freeze/beachball and must force close. Additionally, uTorrent and Transmission are not operating correctly-uTorrent constantly beachballing and unresponsive. Right-click freezes with everything from Word to iMovie. Takes way too much time to do anything, and lots of cursor freezing, here is a sys log excerpt:

disk2s1 (disk2s1) <not mounted>: 209.7 MBI'm having the same issue - started a few months ago and had to forcibly shut down the Mac. That killed the hard drive, so I got a new hard drive and had the Apple Store install Lion on it, then used Migration Assistant to bring files over. Since then I've upgraded to Mountain Lion and have been experiencing lots of beach balls, freezes, etc. They're so bad that I've had to forcibly shut down 3 times, and each time can't restart. Each time I've erased and done a clean install of Mountain Lion from a USB, then used migration assistant and time machine to bring files back.
