When you say they are displaying in your iTunes library, are you talking about the Audiobooks section of your iTunes library and not the audiobooks section indented under the iPod in the left pane of iTunes under Devices?
Is the iPod Shuffle configured to sync audiobooks or do you manually manage the iPod's contents?

I purchased a audiobook on iTunes. After I updated my operating system on my iPhone 4 I can't find my audiobook. Even In my (( purchased )) I can't find them, so what can I do?

Audiobooks, ringtones, and some movies, can only be downloaded once per payment. It is reported iTunes Support occasionally permitting a second download when asked nicely, but they are in no way obligated to do this. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'iTunes' in the first column; 'iTunes Store' in the second column; third column click 'Purchases, Billing & Redemption' and proceed from there.

Can't find Audible Audiobook on Iphone 4s

Hey everyone,
First post here, so hopefully I get this right. I've searched around and can't find anyone with a problem similar to mine.
So I downloaded a book from audible. And when I put the book on my iphone, i went to the audiobooks section to listen to it... and its not there! However, If i type the name of the book into the spotlight function, it does show up. And if I select it, it opens the itunes app and plays it. So i know its on my phone I just can't figure out where my phone is storing it if it isn't in my itunes app. (i also have not downloaded the audible app so I know its not there either).
Can anyone tell me how to find it? I wouldn't mind having it on there so much, except that now i've finished listening too it and want to take it off... but since I can't find it... I can't delete it.

My blind Mom can't find her Audiobooks when using the simplest of commands with SIRI?

I am experiencing problems with SIRI playing an audiobook for my blind Mom. What are the best routes to use this feature? Put all audiobooks in Music or can SIRI find audiobooks anywhere on my IPAD with the right voice commands and formatting. This is an experimental quest I am on the enable her to enjoy books without having to press a lot of buttons! For example, I have an audiobook of Jack London's White Fang but whenever I ask SIRI to play it, it comes back with White Thing!! pronounced Thang ?? Do I need to load a different dictionary of English and I enunciate the word FANG very clearly in English. HELP and Mom thanks you in advance.

It sounds like Safari has somehow been installed in a user / Applications folder instead of the Macintosh HD / Applications folder where it should be.
Log in as the user that can open Safari, navigate to home / Applications and drag the Safari icon out of there to the Macintosh HD / Applications folder. Then drag it to the Dock and drop it when the other icons move aside for it.
You should now be able to access Safari from all accounts.

Hello-I purchased 3 audiobooks back in 2012 and somewhere along the line they are no longer showing up in iTunes. It says it needs to find the original copy. I tried going to Purchased in the iTunes store but there isn't an obvious way of locating audiobooks. Movies, yes. Music, yes. So how do I go about downloading them again? You must transfer all audiobooks as well as ringtones purchases to computer iTunes for safe keeping, they cannot be re-downloaded again for free.
You have to buy them again if you forgot to save them.

Can't find my audiobook in iCloud

I've downloaded an audiobook, but it doesn't show me this at my recently purchased items. So I can't get it over iCloud on my other devices.

I bought and downloaded an audiobook from the iTunes store. The download finished and then stated it had an error. When I went to find available downloads I received a message saying that all downloads had been completed. The audiobook does not show up anywhere in iTunes. Help please!

I have and nothing. On my iphone, if I click audiobooks and then history, it shows in the history and shows me the price (unlike the other things ive downloaded, which as downloaded) When i click on the price it say download this book. Ive continued through that process just to see what happens even though I was already charged, but it tells me that I already have downloaded it, yet I cant listen to it.

Are they newly purchased or old purchases ? On an iPhone they should download into the Music app, and be accessible via the More button at the bottom of the app (if there aren't any audiobooks on the phone then the Audiobooks option won't appear via that button). On a computer's iTunes they will go into the Books part of your library.
If you mean that they are audiobooks that you had previously downloaded but which are no longer on your phone then you will need to sync them back from your computer's iTunes, you won't be able to re-download them as audiobooks (and ringtones) and currently a one-time only download. If you don't have them on your computer nor on a backup then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download (assuming that they are still in the store) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

Can't find downloaded audiobook on iPhone 4

I downloaded an audiobook via iTunes on my iPhone 4. First off, the download "stuck" and I had to call apple to get it to push through. It did eventually load to my phone. I found it in audiobooks under "more" but when I tried to click it, it wouldn't do anything. There was a red circle with a square in it, so I clicked that and the whole thing disappeared. Did it delete? If so, how do I get it back and then listen to it? It really shouldn't be this difficult. I'm so confused and frustrated. Has anyone experienced this?

audiobook didn't download correctly. tried to go to new purchased section to redownload, but my audiobooks aren't there. music and ibooks, but not audiobooks.

Just go into the store, and purchase the books that you already bought. iTunes has a history of what you purchased, and after your click "buy", it will tell you that you already bought it, with the option to download it free of charge.
