I can't find my internal louspeaker in the system, what can I do?

I have a Mac Book Air from 2009 and I can also not listen to music by earphones

Hi MohamedAbohemed,
Welcome to Sony Community!
May I know what it the model name of your computer so we can double check if it's on the list? The list shows the series numbers of the laptops not the specific model number (eg. SVD1323x, SVF1442x, SVF1542x).
If we verified that your laptop is not included, you can still upgrade to Windows 10 for free. robertwycoff is right that if Sony won't have drivers available for your specific models you have to use the drivers that are provided for Windows10 elsewhere.
For further assistance regarding your concern, please contact the Sony offices/Sony representative offices nearest to your place of residence in Asia Pacific region http://www.sony-asia.com/countryselector.html?hpid=countryselector:AsiaPacific. Due to proximity, they are in a better position to respond to your questions or concerns.

Jen

  • Finding Hidden Utilities that Modify the System

Some years ago, I got a utility that allowed me to modify some things in the UI. Among other features, it allowed me to change the size of the pointer and the text insertion icon. I would like to return these to default, but I don't remember the name of the utility so that I can find and remove it. Does anyone know the name of the utility or how I might find it and disable it or the instructions it placed in the system.

Ah, not Universal Access.  I see now you're running Mavericks. I was confused because you posted in the TIger OS forum.

  • There is no "find my iPhone" option in the system preferences iCloud window on my iMac.

It is turned on (as are location services) on my iPhone? and there is a "find my mac" option in the iCloud system preferences window but no "find my iPhone"? All is up to date! All is turned on! Thanks.

There is no Find my... app for Mac. The "Find my Mac" service allows your Mac to be found, but is not actually an app. To view the location of your devices, you have to go to http://icloud.com. This is the computer equivalent of Find my iPhone.

  • Where can I find 64-bit-libraries in the system

    Hallo,
I have a small problem. A collegue want to compile a C-program on my machine, a V880 with solaris9. The linker tells him that he is unable to find the 64-bit-libraries.
Where can I find these libraries???
    Could somebody help?
    Thanks
    rossi

The binaries normaly resides in directories named "64" or "sparcv9".
    Examples:
    /usr/lib/64/
    /usr/lib/sparcv9/
You can test if it's a 64-bit binary by using the "file" command:
    bash-3.00# file /usr/lib/sparcv9/libmp.so
/usr/lib/sparcv9/libmp.so: ELF 64-bit MSB dynamic lib SPARCV9 Version 1, dynamically linked, not stripped
    Hope this helps.

  • Im having issues getting my lap top find my headphone output in the system settings

Could this be a problem with the drivers not reconginizing the jack or a problem with the optical in the jack not reading that there are haedphones pluged in? Im not sure. When I plug headphones in and try to ajust the the volume and I get the vloume Icon with a circle and slash at the bottom meaning that its not working so im not sure. any suggestings?

try replacing the sim card after that it needs to be replaced and since you had some one else open up the phone you would lose the out of warranty replacement price and have to buy a new one at the full retail value

  • Find out all reports in the system

    Hi
I would like to know all the bi reports created on top of Infoproviders. I need report name (not the ID) and the infoprovider.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
    thanks,

hi first go to table rsrrepdir there is a field called infocube in fact it is for all infoprovider on what you built a query.
This gives you COMPUID technical id of the queries.
Then in a second step go to table RSZELTDIR. In the field ELTUID paste all the entries you picked up from previous table.
The last field TXTLG gives you the description.

  • RH9 - Cannot find Microsoft Word Installed on your system

Having just installed five seats of the TCS 3 upgrade on Laptops with Office 2010 previously installed, three of them are encountering errors when generating Printed Documentation.  RH9 throws up a error dialog - "Cannot find Microsoft Word Installed on your system"
What is the fix to have RH9 recognize Office 2010?
    Thanks,
    W.

No, the other two were using the right-click/Properties approach. When tried, the left click on "Printed Documentation" method did not find Word 2010.
Yes these were upgrades, installed after uninstalling TCS2.  Adobe claims two versions can coexist on one drive, but I also agree that is not the case.
It would appear to be a bona fide bug, but I can't believe Adobe would let something like this slip...

  • My kid put a password to my new ipad how can i get into the system

my kid put a password on to my new ipad 2 and y cannot get into the system what can i do?

You can't get in unless you know the password so Now you have to restore the iPad in order to unlock it. You should restore the iPad to the same computer that you sync with so that you can restore your app data and iPad settings. You will probably need to use recovery mode in order to restore the device as well.
    This explains how to restore.

  • My MacBook Pro can not find my internal hard drive.

My computer does come on. And I have a MacBook Air 2009. Just some history, my computer froze on me one day. So I restart it and a screen with a folder and question mark showed up. So I called apple and got some trouble shooting done. Nothing worked. So they ended up sending me another installer disk. And that did not work. Could not find my internal hard drive. So I took it to a apple store and the guy who looked at it told me that it was water damaged and would cost $700 to fix. So I pushed it to the side for year and decided to take a further look into it recently. And found some information where people had the same issue and was advices their hard drive could be dead. So I'm thinking about getting a 2nd opinion and taking it some where else. I'm just wondering could I really just replace my hard drive and be fine with my computer? If its really water damaged wouldn't it not work? Does replacing the hard drive cost a lot to do?

Its extremely unlikely your HD is water damaged, everything on your internals in your macbook Pro would FRY long before water seeped its way into your HD,....the HD circuitry on the outside of the HD however is another story.
If your computer IS in fact water damaged, then yes, replacing the hard drive wouldnt fix anything.
Replacing the HD yourself , IF your HD is dead and at fault, can be done by yourself easily and cost around $65.
In any regard, on a 2009 computer....., 700$ could buy you a nice MUCH NEWER and faster like new refurbished MAC,........as such it would be best not to consider such an option.

  • OS 10.4.11 can find my internal modem, why can't OS 10.5 find it?

My G4 meets all the technical specs to run OS 10.5.
PowerPC G4 (2.1) running at 933 MHz with 512 MB of memory.
And OS 10.5 installs without a hitch. But it can't locate my internal modem!
And, yes, for the duration of my unemployment, my internal dial-up modem is my only access to the Internet, and to System Updates, and little things like that.
Here are the specs on my internal modem:
    Apple Modem V.90 "Spring" Serial
    Hardware Version: 7.0F
    Firmware: Apple Version 0007, 7/31/2000
    Driver: com.apple.driver.AppleSCCSerial (v1.3.0)
I have looked for firmware and driver updates, but perhaps I missed something.
I feel like y'all have been Raptured, and I have been Left Behind!

Good thinking, Mr. Paycheck! (And thank you for your interest in this admittedly behind-the-times technical glitch.)
I inherited my OS 10.5 Install DVD from my folks, who also ran a PowerMac G4. It's the original Install 10.5.0 DVD, rather than an upgrade disk, I think. (But I will double-check with them, to ascertain that.)
The DVD is unscuffed, and verifies itself just fine. But, as you point out, maybe the DVD was composed with a different iota of hardware in mind. Does Apple do that? Does it make commercial sense to print up a different 10.5 disk for, say, a G4 with a different internal modem?
The Apple moves in mysterious ways.

  • Disk Utility says everything's fine, but Install disk doesn't find my internal drive as a possible destination. When I startup with Command   S, I get a looping "cannot mount errno = 19" message.

Disk Utility says everything's fine, but Install disk doesn't find my internal drive as a possible destination. When I startup with Command + S, I get a looping "cannot mount errno = 19" message.
Problem started when I used Tech Tool Pro 6 to "de-fragment volume". Had to cancel that process before it finished because I ran out of time. Thereafter, when I startup my machine normally, I get the gray Apple logo at first, but it changes to a prohibited symbol (circle with a slash thru it) and hangs.
When I startup holding the Option key, I can see my internal drive, but I get the same results as above.
When I startup using the MacBook OSX Install DVD, it does not find my internal drive as possible destination.
When I startup using the MacBook OSX Install DVD and then run Disk Utility, it finds my drive, allows me to "repair" and says everything is fine.
When I startup with Command + S, I get a looping error message "errno = 19" and cannot stop it to do anything else.
When I startup from Disk Warrior v4.4, it does not find my internal drive to do any repairs.
When I startup from Tech Tool Pro 6 and run the "computer check" diagnostics, everything passes but the Volume Structure, which fails at "Volume Extents (B-tree)." When I use TTP's "Tools" option to run "volume repair" it will show my internal drive and allow me to click the GO button, but nothing happens and nothing changes.
I have a Time Machine backup on an external USB drive, but for as long as the internal drive doesn't mount, I can't use the backup to restore.

It's a false report and should be ignored.
I would not rely on TT as I've already said earlier even before Grant posted similar advice.
I really think the Rigid Disk Block may be corrupted. This holds the partition map and could prevent a volume from being unmounted. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix that without repartitioning the drive which will remove everything. So, before going down this road I hope you have backups or can make a backup.
    Drive Partition and Format
    1. Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer Disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button.  When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
    2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area.  If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing.  SMART info will not be reported  on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
    4. Quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.
    5. Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
