I can't find my iphone and its not connected to icloud
i really need help its not mine its my friends and shes letting me borrow it for the week help!
If you have previously set up/configured the FindMyIPod service in the iPod's settings, you might be able to track it that way by going to www.icloud.com and signing in with your Apple ID. Then click the FindMyiPod icon. This also requries that the iPod Touch be still powered on, connected to a nearby Wi-Fi network whose location has been correctly entered into Apple's location database) and not have been restored by somebody else who my have located the device.
Otherwise, I'm afraid you are out of luck and will need to look for it as you would anything else you lose. You should report the lost item to the local authorities and change any and all passwords to any accounts you may have set up or accessed with the device. Apple can do nothing to help.

If you rented and downloaded it on your iPad then it should be in the Videos app - if it doesn't show in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding it ?

As of iOS 5 updates and sync can be done wirelessly, over Wi-Fi. -

Contacts on iPhone and iPad not connecting to iCloud
Just set up iCloud today to sync Contacts between MacBook, iPhone, and iPad. Initial setup worked ok. Now, MacBooks is working OK, but iPhone and iPad cannot connect to server. Open Contacts app and icon on status bar at top of screen just spins (for hours). Have tried to disable Contacts sync on iPhone, but but same behavior. Have tried to delete iCloud account on iPad...same. Have rebooted both devices...same. Any suggestions?
iCloud won't sync Gmail contacts, it will only sync iCloud contacts. If he wants to use Gmail for contacts, he should add his Gmail account to his Mac too. If all of the contacts on his phone are not appearing on his Mac after doing this, then some of them must not belong to the Gmail account and would need to be added to his Gmail contacts.
If he wants to use iCloud to sync his Gmail contacts instead, he can copy all of his contacts to iCloud as follows:
Go to Settings>iCloud on the phone, turn Contacts to Off, choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (any iCloud contacts will still be in iCloud).
Download the app My Contacts Backup. (If you have more than 500 contacts to transfer you will need the “Pro” version.) Use the app to back up the remaining contacts on your phone (from Gmail and any other non-iCloud accounts) as a vCard attachment to an email that you send to yourself. Confirm that you have received the email.
Go to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Account (in the Contacts section) and set this to iCloud.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars…tap Gmail and any other non-iCloud accounts and turn off contacts syncing with these accounts (otherwise you will see duplicate contacts on your device).
Open the My Contacts Backup email and tap the attachment to import the contacts from the other accounts back to your device, and to iCloud. -
If someone finds an iphone and its being tracked...then if such person restores it and takes the previous icloud account off, can the phone still be tracked?
In what regard? Restrictions would not impede in iCloud. All they do are allow certain changes (like age-appropriate content on App Store to be changed), and to prevent some apps from being shown on the device if they aren't going to be used, for example, I have restrictions active on my iPhone with the Youtube App turned off so it doesn't show on my home screen, and youtube links don't open into it (i find the application clunky and prefer the website).
If the device is restored; Anything put in place by restrictions and the prior user are renderred null as the settings get completely erased. -

Use Find Any File, if the old messages might have been in a specific mailbox, to look for a file by the name of the mailbox to see if there are any larger versions of that mailbox.

If your Mail is indeed gone, you may be able to recover it with one of the data recovery tools here:

But act quickly. Every action while the computer is turned on weakens its chances of recovery. There is a slim chance also your email provider may have tape backup from before you checked your messages and after it arrived at their server for certain messages. You may want to ask them if that might have happened. -

Assuming you haven't taken up too much memory from apps to hold the 11 gigs of music...
After you plug in your iPhone, go to the music tab. Make sure you have it set to sync all music.
If apps/books/etc. leave you with less than 11 gig of space for you music, make playlists and sync those instead -
