I can't find my music folder in my ipod. please help

I synced all my folder music to Ipod classic, then I look to my Ipod classic but I can't find my music folder anywhere. Please help...

Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
 Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.
Here is a link to their contacts with most of the information below.

  • Itunes can't find my music folder

I can't install Itunes....it downloads fine from the exe file but when i try to open itunes it gives me the error msg that it can't find My Music folder. I went to the support page and it told me that if i couldn't find My Music folder to create one in My documents and download/install Tweak UI. I did and followed all the steps except when it asks me to click on My computer, then special folder and can't find the My Music folder to move it. I am using Windows XP....Please help. Has anyone ever had this problems?

    I finally found a solution here: http://forums.techarena.in/windows-xp-support/983948.htm
it's stupid, you have to hold down the shift key while you open iTunes (don't just hold it while you click, keep holding it until iTunes actually shows the library dialog).

  • ITunes in Vista RC1 - can't find My Music folder

I installed iTunes 7.0.1 in Vista (64 bit)& launced iTunes. I get an iTunes error message saying "The folder 'iTunes' cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location is inside the 'My Music' folder." I can't even open iTunes to direct it to the location; when you click OK on the box, it closes the error box and iTunes doesn't open.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

I had been keeping my library in an external disk drive, that had - until the crash - been my 'G' drive. Post crash it now calls itself the 'K' drive.
your registry will probably still be looking for the My Music folder on your K drive. (the "My Music" folder has special registry properties.)
so let's try shifting the drive letter on that drive back to "K". for instructions on shifting drive letters, see the following document. (although it's about changing the drive letter of an iPod, the same basic principle apply to changing the drive letters of other drives.)

  • ITunes can't find My Music folder & won't launch - Vista OS

    Hello,
I've been using iTunes successfully for months with Vista, then one day iTunes wouldn't launch. I got the error message "The folder itunes cannot be found or created and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the my music folder."
I've seen a similar post but for Windows XP - referencing a system registry problem.
This doesn't seem relevant because Vista doesn't even have a My Music folder. The folder is named "Music" and is not located in My Documents.
    Can anybody help? Thanks!

  • Opening I-Tunes indicates it can't find "My Music" folder

Hi, I can download I-Tunes OK, but when I go to open the program it says the folder "My Music" can not be found (the folder exists), and I-Tunes won't open.
Please help, I need new music.

Help!!!! I have the same problem but I am using a MAC, not windows. I just installed itunes 7.6 when prompted and my computer restarted. When I try to open itunes now, it says
The folder "iTunes" cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the "Music" folder.
The iTunes folder is indeed in the Music Folder. Ugh.
    Thanks, D

  • I cannot start iTunes because the program can't find 'My music' folder

I had a fairly hefty PC crash yesterday, and I cannot now start my iTunes software. The error message is: "The folder 'iTunes' cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the 'My Music' folder."
I had been keeping my library in an external disk drive, that had - until the crash - been my 'G' drive. Post crash it now calls itself the 'K' drive.
All I can presume is that the software is pointed towards the old 'G' drive.
My music is still intact, but I just cannot connect to it.
    Can anybody help, please?
    Many thanks.

  • Itunes can not find My Music folder

I recently had a friend who backed-up my music folder to a external hard drive. After a while it was to complicated to use, so I moved all my music back to my laptop. Now when I start iTunes, it states
"The folder "i Tunes" cannot be found or created, and is required. The default location for this folder is the "My Music" folder
I followed instructions from the Apple website to download Tweak UI, but even that doesn't list "My Music" folder. It list all the others, "My Pictures etc."
When I click on my documents, "My Music" is there with the "Itunes" folder, but I am still unable to get Itunes to work. Please help.

  • I've deleted my search history, but now I can't find an imporant website. Mac X. Please HELP!!!

I was working on an important project and I had several tabs open. When I finished, I automatically cleared everything, as I always do, and I didn't save the bookmarks. The project is due, and the days of research I've done to find these websites is now a luxury I can only dream of.
Is there any way this can be restored? I've checked the Time Machine, and there is no folder for Firefox in Application Support.
    PLEASE HELP.

Did you make sure to look in the correct location in the Time Machine backup?
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
    */Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/<profile>/
In Mac OS X v10.7 and later, the ~/Library folder is a hidden folder.

  • Stupid question, I know, but after years of using Firefox, on this one I can't find the Page Reload icon?? Please help.

In the past, when I want to refresh a page, I've simply gone to the page reload icon on the toolbar. On the new version, I can't fin the reload icon. Sorry I know this is a very stupid question,, but I just can't find that reload icon. The toolbar is a lot different from previous versions, but I'm sure tht pesky icon must be there somewhere!!

    Hi merren,
Not a stupid question at all :) You should take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/common-questions-after-upgrading-firefox-36 this article with common questions after upgrading].
You could also benefit from the looking at the article on [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-customize-toolbars customizing the tool bar]. That will show you not only how to verify that you have the refresh button, but give you options on where it lives as well.
    Hopefully this helps!

how can i uninstall windows 8.1 preview from my macbook pro?? ive looked for over an hour for the readme file for the windows 8.1 preview and have had no luck. ive done almost everything i can think of at the moment and nothing is working. somebody please help, thanks

Windows 8.1 Preview cannot be uninstalled. However, if what you want is to remove Windows completely, start up in OS X, open Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities) and follow the steps to remove the Windows partition.
If what you want is to install the final Windows 8.1 version, read this Microsoft support article > http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/update-from-preview

  • Can't find update software on my ipad 2 please help

I am trying to update my OS on the ipad 2 and under setting>General> there is no software update.  Please help.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.  Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

  • Updating to iOS 5 wiped my ipod clean, can't find the backup from the update. Please help!

So I updated my ipod touch 4th generation on my old Windows Vista computer. It's been the same iTunes computer that I used to sync with when I first bought the device when it came out. I wiped the old backups inside iTunes before updating because it was taking space. While updating it was backing up my iPod. But then when it finished updating and said I was at iOS 5, it didn't restore my iPod touch. I went into the mobile sync>backup folder in my app data but couldn't find the backup from the update. Apparently iTunes doesn't save the backup from the update. I had 20gb's of my apps on the iPod. I know that I can download back the apps because of iCloud. However, I lost all my photos, notes, contacts, and all the app data in the 140+ apps that were in there. I am pretty sure there is no solution for this problem but I'm just putting it out there. This is my last sliver of hope.

hello, i have the same problem as you, did you back up before iOS 5? so, you your situation is, that you have an empty, iOS 5 ipod, with the apps, but no game data, no notes, contacts, photos etc. ? ive got the same problem, did any of your apps disappear by any chance? if you backed up before update, use that, if not, i suggest restore to the oldest back up you have, but the newest back up you had before iOS 5, its better than an emptry ipod, hope i helped.

  • 10.4 MAX OSX Fire Fox, for several months now, constantly is 'Unrepsonsive' and I have to force quit and start it again, can't find an answer on your support section, please help.

I have one or more Tabs open on my Fire Fox Browser, when suddenly, I am not able to do anything. I go to the "Force Quit" command, and find that the word "unresponsive" next to the Fire Fox Browser on the list of what's open on my desktop. Sometimes it happens with Word 2004. So, it could be a computer issue but I have no idea what to do. I don't think it has anything to do with downloading anything but it crashes several times a day.

Afraid I don't understand what you mean by a clean install. There is no such feature to Mac OS X. These are the installation options available:
