I can't find my script at all.

I spent a lot of time writing on a script for my school project. Now whenever I try logging in, all my projects are just gone. Is there anyway to get it back?

Could you please try the following -
1) Make sure that you are signing in from the same adobe ID that you had been using to create the script.
2) Try loggin in from a different browser. If this solves the problem clear the cache of the browser you had been using before (http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache) and try logging in again.
3) If you still dont see your scripts please send us a screen shot of what you see after logging in. Also send across your Adobe ID , project name and script name at DL-AdobeStory-support<at>adobe<dot>com.

When I last used Firefox support, several years ago, I saw mention of a long list of options and settings available, using a kind of local URL, beginning with "about:". I can't find it now. You can use an external drive with LR but I recommend only using it for
image file storage while keeping your catalog on your internal HD for
performance. If you moved files outside of LR (Finder or Explorer) you will
have to clue LR in on where they are now. Use the left-hand folder panel in
Library mode to navigate to the location on your external drive and use the
find photo option get LR to reconnect them. If you moved the catalog and
now LR can't find it you should get a window allowing you to select a new
one where you can navigate to the new location and select it. You can also
just start LR by clicking on the Lightroom 5 catalog.lrcat file to open it
and start LR.

Do you have a wifi signal? In order for the wifi only iPad to get any location fix, it needs to be connected to a wifi node - it's only way to determine locations is by looking up the wifi networks hardware address in Apple's wifi node location database of approximate locations (as mentioned already, it has no GPS chipset to use GPS location data).

To add as sometimes the SAP definitions in SAP are really tricky to read... Another good place to look is the SAP support portal notes search. It is really useful for confusing parameters and SAP's recommended values.
Or even just use regular internet search engines to search the profile parameter you are looking for... you can find sites that have the definitions and sometimes even better practice recommendations... .
I normally start with the RSPARAM definitions in SAP as recommended and then go to the SAP notes search and lastly regular internet search engines.

How can I find the Scripts directory from a script?

Hello all! After playing with Photoshop scripting, I'm now playing with AE too, and in my first try I've stuck in finding the scripts path from the script itself.
In Photoshop, there was this piece of code that somebody in the Photoshop Scripting forum kindly shared:
var scriptsPath = new Folder (app.path + "/" + localize ("$$$/ScriptingSupport/InstalledScripts=Presets/Scripts"));
But this line doesn't work in After Effects because app.path variable doesn't exist (very funny, I thought Photoshop and After Effects shared the same basic app variables) and the path given to the "localize" function is wrong in AE (I think "$$$" means nothing to it).
Can somebody give me a clue about how to solve this? Thanks a lot in advance :-)

This script shows a couple of examples you can try. The first part shows a way to get the folder the running script is in. The second gets the main AE app folder although I don't know if appFolder works on Windows (you'd still need to add /Scripts on Mac or /SupportFiles/Scripts on Win).

There is no list available from your end; you need either physical or network access to a computer to individually deauthorize it. If you're out of authorizations, use the Deauthorize All function.

I need to use the Script Browser function of Dir. 11.5.9. I am instructed to click Window, Script. Then select the Script Browser tab. But when I open the Script Window, I do not find a Script Browser tab. Can someone assist me?

That will be your best bet if you want to have office 2004 on your computer. Also, there are some different versions want to come to office. The link above gives you the standard version, but there's also the professional version. Now it sounds like that you do not want to upgrade to the latest office because you're most likely comfortable with how 2004 works. So in that case I would not spend the extra money and pay for the professional version unless you really need it. I see on the website there that if you buy a used copy it will only cost you around $10.
