I can't find Personal Hotspot or Set Up Personal Hotspot in Settings on my 4s, does it have to be downloaded first? From where? I can't find it in the app store.

You must be using a supported carrier that supports the personal Hotspot feature, and you must subscribe to a data plan that permits tethering. Your account must be provisioned properly for an iPhone.

Well, think about it. This is a Lightroom forum. We are here to answer questions about Lightroom and how to solve problems in Lightroom. Your permissions issue is an operating system issue, not a Lightroom issue. I didn't mean to be sarcastic. But there are plenty of Internet resources that will answer that question.

Apparently you have some time delays, but under certain conditions you must terminate a delay/wait and do something else. One way of doing this is to have a Wait state. The wait state has a short delay, determined by the minimum time you can delay responding to a changed condition, and a check to see if the required elapsed time has occurred. If the time has not elapsed, the next state is the Wait state again. The state machine can repeat any state as often as necessary. So a 15 second delay could be implemented by going to a Wait state with a one second wait 15 times. Any error or new command will see a response in no more than one second.

If you are using iOS 4 you will have to connect your iPhone to a computer and apply the latest update via iTunes, I highly recommend backing up your iPhone. Yes. Well, sort of: instead of a "path", set the pen tool to "shape" in the tool properties. Then set the fill colour to transparent, and the stroke colour to the colour you want. You can also set the stroke width.
Not perfect, but at least you can see the path more clearly - the anchor points and handles still remain the default colour. Open the path panel, and right-mouse click the path shape to create a selection based on that shape. The Paths panel menu also allows you to create work paths based on that shape.
Unfortunately when you try to move the handles the black thin outline appears again until you release the mouse button.
This is one of several things that works better in Photoline: in Photoline, once the path is set to a specific colour, editing the path uses the actual colour and stroke width. which is extremely handy for creating path based selection with awkward background colours and/or a high resolution screen. In Photoline the handles and bezier points are also much, much larger, which makes it rather simpler to work with as well - especially on a higher resolution screen. And when selected the handles and points are a clear red with a black outline - again easier to spot and identify. I just works better, in my opinion.

How can I find the location of an i-pod shuffle, nano and touch that i have synced to my account? I have had each one stolen and would be so relieved if i could track there location as I know they are still in the county I live. also if i cant locate them can i at least remotely delete the libraries, and lock them so they are unusable to the thiefs, and i had a sony laptop worth £2000 stolen which I had used my apple account for a year is there anyway i can track that or retrieve the contents and delete them?

You could possibly locate the iPod touch and remotely wipe it if you had installed the Find My iPhone app on it, otherwise, and for everything else, no. There are tools that can be instaleld on PCs that will attempt to report in if stolen, but again these need to be set up in advance.

You are correct, Blue tooth low engergy, BTLE.(only) devices are not backward compatible with Classic bluetooth and cannot connect.
However the Apple 4S and above have Bluetooth 4.0 support.. Hardware wise it has bothClassic Bluetooth, like the 3GS, as well as Bluetooth Low Energy. There is no good reason why your 4s cannot communicate to your Sony in-dash player using the Classic bluetooth that resides in the 4S.
I know that this does not answer the why it does not work, but it should work. Do you have to somehow re-pair the new phone up to the player? Not knowing the model of the Sony it is hard to investigate.
And I hate to ask but are you sure that the Bluetooth radio is on in the phone?

Tap the Photos icon in the Dock at the bottom of of the screen.
If you don't see the photos there, tap Settings > iCloud
Turn Photo Stream off then back on then restart your iPad.
Hold the power button until "slide to power off" appears. Slide to power off. After it is off, press the power button to turn it back on

You have to do it on the Apple TV itself while it's plugged into a TV so that you can see its screen.
