I can't find proofreader on pages anymore.

I can no longer find proofreader after recently updating pages and really would like it back... Any suggestions? Thanks!

I assume you are using Pages 5. The version of Pages & version of OS X are details that are critical, especially in this time of two vastly different versions of Pages.
In Pages 5 there is now a grammar checker in the Edit menu. I have no idea how well it works as I use Pages 4.3 to actually get any work done.

This is getting FRUSTRATING!
I have created my iWeb pages, clicked PUBLISH ALL TO .mac I get a CONGRATULATIONS message that it's loaded, I click VISIT SITE, and I get this bloody error message
"We're Sorry but we can't find the iWeb page you've requested" It's possible that:
· The address was entered incorrectly. Check your spelling and try again.
· The .Mac member of this name has either created a page and removed it or has never published an iWeb site.

you can use Javascript functions/varibles.
In any page you can insert a special form like this:
<form name="myNameWindow">
<input type="hidden" name="myName" value="Ivan_pag01">
</form>
and in the other reading that value.
Obviusly you have to save a reference in a variable of the other window.
This is possible only if:
1) other page is in the same browser window but in an other frame
2) you have generated the other page via an "window.open" function (or your page is generated from it via that function)

i was able to successfully republish my updated website (thru mobile me). it was originally published thru .mac last year before .mac changed to mobile me. however, i noticed that my web address does not have "mobile me" in the title as in some of the other websites that i've check out on the boards here. i wonder if that's a problem because when i've e-mailed links (by dragging the address or even copy & paste) to my updated website, the links don't work. it goes to a mac page that says "we're sorry but we can't find the iWeb page you've requested..." however, if i go thru a search engine (entering the first couple words of my site title), the website comes up fine. also, if i type in the full address manually in an e-mail, the link works. the problem seems to be in the dragging of the address directly from the site. are these things related? my website address is: http://www.hale-o-lani-aloha.com. (feel free to critique the site if you have any opinions about it)

Here's another post that might prove useful to you, from the iWeb06 forum. This may help you in the future when you want to update your site:
Because your site is already up on the .Mac server, I would never engage in publishing the entire site again; unless, of course, you just rebuilt the whole thing. Note which pages you made changes to, and publish your site to a folder. Double-click this folder on your desktop, and open the window in column view. Navigate to the Page_files, and the Page.html.
With the Finder window open that is showing your site, Command+N. Another Finder window will open. In this window, navigate to the same files on your iDisk, again, using the Go menu in Finder:
Go/iDisk/My iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/SiteFolder/Page_files(page.html)
From the iDisk Finder window, drag the Page_files/page.html of the pages that you made changes to to the trash. Now, from the other window, the window which shows your site in the published folder, drag these same files into the iDisk window, placing them in the same SiteFolder directory from which you dragged files to the trash. If you created a new page, you will need to also replace all other Page_files/page.html files which link to new page(s).
What you have just done is replace only the changed files. Because the .Mac slideshow assets are already uploaded, you should not have lost the .Mac slideshow for your photo's pages. Sometimes, it can even get simpler....as an example, I have a site that contains numerous .pdf files. With these, I don't even touch the Page_files/page.html files; I simple go into the Page_files folder and replace the old .pdf file with the new, updated one. Obviously the files are named exactly the same.
This is the best way for you to update your existing site on .Mac. You might also take a look at the ftp client, "Transmit". It works well with .Mac, with the exception that you must use the "Publish to a folder" command in iWeb.

The ID you use for home sharing should be the same on all devices, it doesn't need to be the same ID you use for other things.
So if together you have the ID's [email protected] and [email protected] (say) then you might use [email protected] for your iTunes Store account and [email protected] for home sharing and he might use [email protected] for his iTunes Store account and [email protected] for home sharing

I'm not sure what web me is. Are you referring to iWeb, Apple's former web page editor/manager?
If you mean the web page that was on MobileMe, it's been deleted. Last month, MobileMe was shut down and iCloud took over. Unfortunately, iCloud does not provide a web page service, nor a photo gallery.
However, if you used iWeb to create the site, then you should still have the files on your mac. These can be uploaded to another web provider, which you would have to subscribe to. There are hundreds if not thousands of providers around the globe.

Jdeveloper can't find my first page

When I try to run my application in Jdeveloper (9.0.3.3) which worked last week, it says it can't find the target page. I can't seem to figure out what I changed.
The error message is
"The page cannot be found"
I did install the uix demo pack along with a fresh install of the OC4J server. I installed all of that to a separate directory so it wouldn't overlay the existing directory.
Also, if I run the demo pack, it works just fine.
Any suggestions on where I should look to identify what was changed in my JDeveloper environment?

Tried that. Dropdown window only offered these options: 'Lock Duplicate, Browse all versions. It did NOT give me the location of the document. I want to go to the document and attach it to an email. I cant find the document on my computer. There is no option to 'save as' under finder window. Only 'save a version'

Don't move the three apps out of their official folder.
If you want to trigger them from an other location, build aliases of them.

Can't find the manual setup anymore

Hi Community!
Yesterday I got myself a TC 2 TB for my MBP and PC setup. Everything went fine with the setup so far. The airport setup assistant guided me through to make my basic settings. Now I would like to make fine adjustments here and there. But when I open the Airport Utility now I can't find the assistant or the manual setup anymore. Where did it go? All I get is the cool graphic with the internet globe and my TC at the bottom. When I click on the TC I can edit, but not for example my printer for sharing over the TC and other configurations that were present during the initial setup.
How do I get the manual setup back?

Just how do I get rid of the 6.0 version. I tried deleting it but a message said it is a utlity app and can't be deleted. I'm really sorry, I'm new to the Mac world.
Suggest that you leave it on your Mac and wait for further updates and improvements.
It is possible to delete the application, but you must use Terminal commands to do so. The Terminal is a scary place for most of us. Best to leave things alone.
You can keep both 5.6 and 6.0 on your Mac

How can I find and disable Page Down in the Keyboard Shortcuts menu?

I often accidentally hit Page Down because it's right beside my arrow keys. It seems to switch to the next symbol in the library which is something I never under any circumstances would want to do. How do I disable this incredibly annoying keyboard shortcut? I can't find it anywhere in the unsearchable rat's nest that is the Keyboard Shortcut menu.

Aha, thank you for drawing my attention to the export html button, it does make it possible to search those keyboard shortcuts.
In my case, View -> Go to -> Next was set to nothing. More oddly, the words "Page Down" don't appear anywhere at all in the generated file, and when I set another random command (Zoom In) to use Page Down it didn't warn of a conflict. Hitting page down zoomed in instead of switching me to another symbol, and when I cleared the shortcut from zoom in it went back to swapping between symbols. I guess I'll have to set something benign to use the page down key.
Bizarre. I guess this must be a bug in CS6?

My main blog page can't find its entry pages

When I make iWeb blog entry pages, the main blog page can't find them. It says "Error. The file cannot be found." (even if I just use the placeholder "Blue bird day" page without changing it!) I'm dragging my image onto the placeholder image on the (Modern) Blog entry page but the main Blog pag can't find it or even the placeholder image on an unmodified new blog entry page. I am publishing to a file and ftp-ing it up to my ISP but I get the "file cannot be found" message even on my own hard drive before uploading. What's wrong?

Well, not sure of a complete solution for you, but I have found a specific problem.
From the main blog page. . . the link it gives for New York is
http://www.christopherrauschenberg.com/Site/Blog/429B84A8-BD4B-4B30-8A66-017811D F742E.html
However, in checking the directory, looks like that is labeled instead as
http://www.christopherrauschenberg.com/Site/Blog/429B84A8-BD4B-4B30-_124C76.html
That would explain why it couldn't be found.
A little further checking or your root directory shows similar mismatches between various page index files and the folders containing data.
Have you published and uploaded portions at a time? Is ossible after changes we made that all changes were not published.
It might be best to clean out the FTP folder, republish your whole site from iWeb to a folder on your computer and re-FTP it to your site (making sure to enter correct url of your site on the publish screen as well).

Web browser can not find my iweb page

I need some help. I published my website onto the internet,and for a while it was accessible. But since I have my own domain name, I am unable to view it on the web. Every-time I try to view my web-page an error message appears saying "safari cant open the page because it can't find the server"

I'm having a similar problem to the one below. MM is hosting my website through a personal domain name (Doteasy is the domain provider). The url of my site is www.saginor.com. The mobile me version is http://web.me.com/shiplair. When I type into my browser http://web.me.com/shiplair/Saginor.com I get to the site. But when I simply type in saginor.com I get the message, "Safari cant open the page because it can't find the server". I tried the suggestions you gave below and none worked. I also checked with my domain provider, and the forward destination is indeed listed as http://web.me.com/shiplair. I checked the settings in my MM account and the domain is indeed listed as www.saginor.com. Then I tried "publish all to mobile me" in iweb. It didn't work. I have a paper to do that requires me to insert math equatios and expressions in the text. MS Word has a feature in Insert for creating mathematical expressions and inserting them in a document. Have not been able to find it in Pages, both on my iMac or on my iPad? Where do I find it?

In Pages we can use a third party app, or we can use a built-in OSX program called Grapher.app
Build the expression in Grapher and Paste into Pages. It will be a PDF object that can be placed inline with your text, or as a floating object. Here's an example using Grapher:
