I can't find the cellular data section under settings to set up my new ipad

i can't find the "cellular data" section on my i=pad 2 in order to order service from ATT. How would I do this?

Is the iPad the Cellular version? Does it have an active Data plan? Does it have a Sim card installed in inside it?

If you go into Settings>General>Network, you should still be able to access VPN settings. My listings show Cellular Data, Data Roaming, Set Up Personal Hotspot, VPN and Wi-Fi. I do not use Personal Hotspot (tethering) so mine says Setup. However, VPN settings are different than cellular data settings. Not sure which you are asking about now.

Here, let me explain the way you use the word "crap" in a sentence like this, especially when I'm asking for help from a total stranger such as yourself. It's rude, obviously I know now not to do something like download something like that to my computer. It's not the difficult to figure out, and obviously I'm suffering the consequences for it now. I listed the commands.. that is how you manually mount the disk.. follow exactly the commands I gave you.
In finder use top menu, go, connect to server.
Type in the following.
AFP://TCname or AFP://TCIpaddress (obviously you replace with the actual name or the actual IP address).
If that fails..
try
SMB://TCname

iTunes is required to initially activate the phone. Back when the iPhone 3G was sold, you would take it out of the box and see a "Connect to iTunes" screen. She HAD to connect to a computer in order to begin using the phone. Does she remember what computer this was?

I'm going to assume you have a 3G iPad? Contact your carrier and they will help you.......and like Deggie said, you need a micro-sim, which is not supplied with iPad. You have to get it from your carrier.

Nevermind - I answered my own question, which is I CAN"T READ ANY BOOKS I purchased in iBooks on my MacBook Pro. If I want to read on my mac I have to use Kindle or Nook. Which means any book I've already purchased through iBooks has to be read on my iPad. Kind of a drag because there are times when it's more convenient for me to read while I'm sitting with my Mac.
