So I used to have a password on my computer for when my mac first turned on and all that but, I gat tired of having to put my password in every single time i turned my mac, on so i took it down. Now, every time I want to download something it asks for my password (even though i know i took it down) I still put in my old password, but then it tells me its incorrect, so i went to "users and groups" in system prefrences to change it and get a new password but it asks for old password and once again it says its wrong so I have no idea what to do now.. ps: I never gat a new password I only took the old one down..

Sure, as soon as you open iTunes with the new iPod connected, it will have a "Welcome to your New iPod" screen. Just choose Restore from backup.

Another way to import photos. You can use a USB flash drive & the camera connection kit.
Plug the USB flash drive into your computer & create a new folder titled DCIM. Then put your movie/photo files into the folder. The files must have a filename with exactly 8 characters long (no spaces) plus the file extension (i.e., my-movie.mov; DSCN0164.jpg).
Now plug the flash drive into the iPad using the camera connection kit. Open the Photos app, the movie/photo files should appear & you can import. (You can not export using the camera connection kit.)

Plug your iPhone 5 into your Leopard Machine.
Fire up iPhoto.
The phone should become available in iPhoto, and then you can import the camera roll.

Trying to get a new iPod touch to where the old one was at

So a year ago I purchased an iPod and along with it I bought the 2 yr extended Warranty. Well a couple of weeks ago the touch screen stopped working. I tried everything to get it to work again Recharge reset I even tried restoring and nothing fixed it. So I sent it in and in return I got a new iPod (refurbished). I figured hey no problem... just sync it up with iTunes and everything that had been on my old iPod will be on my new one. Not the case. I am just wondering if there is a way to get all that stuff back cause some of it I really want. I would imagine that it may have to do with looking at the device list but I cant seem to find a place that shows me all the devices that have been synced with the computer.

Can't Get Apple Authorization to Play Purchased iTunes Songs

I purchased over 200 songs from iTunes on another computer and Apple ID. When I moved and got another PowerMac, I let my .Mac account expire and later I opened another .Mac account with the different Apple ID (the one I am currently using). When I try to play any of these many songs I get an error message saying that my computer is not authorized to play the sing. It lists my old Apple ID and password, but when I put them in another error message pops up saying that the Apple ID or Password was incorrect. Since I paid for all these songs and have not exceeded the allowable 5 computer for authorization, is there any way that I can get Apple to authorize these songs on my current Apple ID? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have one iCloud account and that is on my iPhone. But when I got a iPad I ended up with the same iCloud account that was in my iPhone. I don't like that because if someone sends me a message it goes to my phone and the iPad. How do I make a new iCoud?

Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit the delete account button. Any information on that account will be deleted from that device, but it will not be deleted from the cloud or any of the device logged into that account.

I need to de-authorize my old computer - had to buy a new one today because the old one got wet...I can't see the old screen - but can't use the new one until I can deauthorize the old one...is this a catch 22?

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

As Steve observes, what you are talking about is called "PiP," or Picture in Picture.
He has given you the basics of creating a "split-screen" PiP, and that should be exactly what you wish to do.
For more detail, plus more ways to do PiP, I strongly recommend his book, Cool Tricks & Hot Tips for Adobe Premiere Elements 11, from Muvipix. He has an entire chapter (Chapter 10) on PiP, and many of its uses, with detailed instructions on the settings to accomplish it. Just that one chapter is worth the price of the book.

I can't get my ipod to play on my ihome is says this accesssory is not supported by ipod touch!

If it started after updating to iOS 5 it may be that the dock is not compatible with iOS 5. Somebody else recently posted with the same problem after iOS 5.
