I can't get my apps to open on my iPAD.
These are basic troubleshooting steps if the reset suggested above doesn't work.
Quit/Close all apps and restart. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
You can also try downloading another app - any free app is fine. That tends to reset something and many times this works for an issue like yours.

I just got a new iphone 5 yesterday. I can't get any of the apps to request access to my photos.
I bought a new iphone 5c yesterday and am installing all of my apps on to it, and also updated to iOs 7.1.2. None of the apps I have installed (such as instagram, facebook, twitter or messenger) have requested access to my photos so I can't use my photos within the apps. How do I change this? I have already gone to my settings, general, privacy, photos and there are no requests from apps to allow this feature. I have tried uninstalling the apps and reinstalling them thinking maybe if I did that the request would pop up but that didn't work. The only thing instagram has requested is access to my microphone. Can someone help please? I'm getting beyond frustrated, and I can not get to an apple store to have someone take a look.
All of your pictures adn contact should be on your computer. Nothing should only be on your iphone. The iphone is not a storage device. it simply mirrors the selected content of your computer.
You should be syncing contacts to your computer regularly and importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly.

Frustrated with my Mac book pro. It's 4 yrs old and I've taken it in 3 times this year for different issues. Just last week they said my Cd Rom has packed it in. As of this week, I can't connect to wifi or get any of my applications to respond. Also won't hold a charge :(. Is it possible I need a new one? I paid 2200.00 for thus one. Seems like it should last longer than that. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can delete the app from your old iPad by tapping and holding on the app until it jiggles and displays an X. Then tap the X and confirm you want to delete the app.
If your new iPad is using the same Apple ID as your old iPad use the App Store app to download the app. As long as you are using the same Apple ID there will no charge for apps that have a fee. -

A few months ago I moved from NZ to London. For a while I kept using my NZ account on iTunes and on my iPhone to buy apps, but eventually I needed to start using the UK app store.
The only info I could find on google was how to change your country in iTunes. That’s easy enough, using the country selector at the bottom of the screen. So now I can see the UK iTunes store, and everything appears in £. But when I’d try and sign in to buy something, I’d get an error message “Your account is only valid for purchases in the NZ iStore” and I’d get redirected to the NZ iStore. I couldn’t find much help online, and was about to sign up for a whole new UK-based iTunes account with another email address, until I found this help page:
Changing your iTunes Store country:
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you’d like to use. If already signed in to an account, from Settings, choose Store and then View Account.
Tap “Change Country of Region” and follow the on screen process of changing your region. Agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.
Once that was done, I could see and use the UK iTunes. But when I would surf the app store on my iPhone I was still seeing the NZ app store. The fix is to just download any free app. Once it starts downloading it, it realises you’ve signed up to use a new country’s app store and redirects you there. -

Is your iPad 2 running iOS 5.0.1 and your ipad 1 running iOS 4? If this is the case then go through the update process on your iPad 1. All the iPad 2 apps running on iOS 5 that are compatible with the iPad 1 will be put on your iPad 1. Those apps that require a camera will not appear because the iPad 1 does not have a camera.

Is there a way to get a version of the Garage Band app that runs on version 5.1.1? I have an iPad 1 and can't get any higher iOS. The App store is telling me that Garage Band only runs on iOS 7.

I can't get any updates or download any new apps from iTunes because I "cannot connect to the iTunes Store" or sometimes it says server. I have no trouble getting my email or surfing the Internet, so it is a problem specific to accessing iTunes. Incredibly frustrated! Please help!
Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Maybe Apple should have a ' definitely read me first' notice before a download takes place with CLEAR instructions to have more than the 6GB they indicate ofr the Mountain Lion download -
