I can't get firefox to launch. I'm getting an error report:
java script application - bbyln is not defined

[ I've solve ] Well, I was too upset from the errors of babylon, sometimes it didn't allowed me to browse internet and oftentimes it ruined my new(default) tab opening parameters, so finally after damn research i figured it out how to get rid from these errors.; these files (software /errors) weren't visible anywhere e.g. control panel, system32 etc. i got em from C:\......, then i deleted em and got a complete calm. so here you go and remove both things;
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins (bbyln.dll).
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\extensions (bbyln folder)
after to remove (babylon) relevant files restart your Mozilla firefox. WAIT. WAIT. don't forget to complement me...just say loudly....Well done dude, You're Genius ....O_o....!!!!

After the latest update for firefox, now when I start firefox up I keep getting a pop up window that is a Java Script Application that says TypeError:Components.classes['@softage.ru/skype/skypeFfExtension;1']is undefined.

After closing this Firefox seems to work fine but this happens everytime on startup. How can I get rid of this pop up window starting everytime? Can I re-install firefox? Would I lose my bookmarks etc?

Once I disabled my Ask.com toolbar (that was installed when I installed FoxIt), the error went away.

I cannot get firefox to launch

I cannot get firefox to launch. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall without luck. Yesterday I did notice that my menu bar was missing and tried to reinstall a Google toolbar, but, had to close the computer before it was finished. Not sure if the two are related.

For chloe_am it indicates the version of McAfee add-on is not compatible.

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. Ever since I downloaded FF's v6, everytime I go to YouTube and open a video, I get an error message that says: "[Java Script Application] Error: Div is null" How do I fix this problem?

If I go to YouTube, no matter what video I click on to watch, the error message "[Java Script Application] Error: Div is null" pops up. It started happening right after I updated to FF v6. I also have installed the latest version of Java. I submitted this question a few weeks ago, but never received a reply.

As soon as I log on to Firefox this pop up appears on the screen saying Java Script Application and under neath it it says uninstal and beside uninstal is a yellow triangle with a exclamation mark inside of it. Every time I click the mouse the pop up reappears over and over. It's really a nuisance and I need your help.The word uninstal is spelled like you see it, even though it's spelled wrong.Thank you and God Bless

Other users have reported that this is caused by one of their add-ons. I suggest going to the Add-ons page and disabling everything that is not essential, and then restarting Firefox. Hopefully it's not caused by something you really rely on.

If not then older history has been deleted. 
Firefox 5 doesn't use a time limit to store history like previous Firefox 3 versions did.

We are running firefox 3.0.5. When I log onto any of our machines I can't get Firefox to run. I get the Close Firefox popup and the message Firefox is already running

I downloaded Firefox Optimized for Yahoo on my PC and get an error message about every 15 seconds: Java Script/ Uninstall set. I deleted Firefox and did a new download/installation and am getting the same problem.

Where can I download the last version that allows images and java script to be turned off?

Due to my often slow connection I must have the option to turn off "automatically download images" and Java script. Firefox 23 does not have those options. Where can I download version 22 or whatever the latest version is that allowed these options?

The Quickimage add-on doesn't work well at all, it gets stuck in the image off mode and will not switch back even after rebooting Firefox. Version 23.0 of Firefox is also very slow on my computer.
I really need to find an older version of Firefox. Any idea where to download version 22 or earlier?
