I can't get into my Ipad. I forgot the 4 digit. How can I reset that 4 digit code.
I finally replaced my broken digitizer after about 8 months. I charged it up, turned it on and bam, I get the passcode thing. I tried every code I could think of and can't get in. So what do I do now? How do I reset that passcode?
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).
If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present.
You may have to force iPad into Recovery Mode

You will have to format your iPad. Looks like that's the only way to reset your password.
Formatting your iPad
Turn off your iPad, turn on iTunes, hold large button down on ipad while connecting the white ipad cord to your Pc.
When the window prompts format iPad,let the button go and press format button on iTunes.

Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer only
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times. -

Try holding down the Shift key in Windows when opening iTunes. In the resulting dialogue you will get the option to create a new library or navigate to an existing one. The default location for your iTunes library is in C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\ (or C:\Username\Music\iTunes\ in Vista). Do you have a copy of it anywhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, or on a backup of your library ? If you have it on a backup then you should be prompted to authorise the account (and I think that the id will show) if you try to add it to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library. -

Syncing the 3GS is exactly the same as syncing the 4S - so just do the same as you've been doing.

You may reset the password on your account by opening https://iforgot.apple.com/ in Safari and entering your Apple ID (your email address, which the moderators should have removed earlier).
You won't be able to set the password to your email address, or a recently-used password (if I remember correctly).
Once you change your password, you should update your password on your iOS device in Settings > iTunes & App Store, then tapping the "Apple ID: <username>" cell at the top to re-enter your password. (Your iOS device may prompt you for the new password before getting to Settings as well.)
