You did the wrong things. In the future it's a good idea to remember not to do something when you don't know what you are doing and what happens when you do it.

I can't get my computer to recognize my iPod 4 touch after I do a software update. The iPod goes into restore mode and the the computer won't recognize the iPod no matter what USB port I'm pluged into, or if I reboot the iPod, the computer, or iTunes.

If you cannot get your iPod Shuffle to show up in iTunes, check out the following articles depending if it shows up on your computer within Windows Explorer. With the iPod Shuffle plugged in check in Windows Explorer to see if it shows up as a removable device. They both will help no matter how the iPod Shuffle shows up.

Can I get my computer to recognize my iPod w/out losing music???

An iPod (60GB) given to me by a friend, with about 500 songs on it, will not be recognized by my laptop (I get the iPod Updated launched and the only option it gives me is to reformat). I use another iPod (mini) on this laptop too. How can I get my computer to recognize it, or is it possible, without reformatting and losing all of the music already on it? I don't have any of the paperwork / drivers / cds that came with it, but it is still under warranty (88 days left). Please help!!! Is there a way to get the music saved off of it before I reformat it?

If by "outside" you mean "on the right or left of" a table, you must make the Table a Floating Object to do that.
If you must use Inline Tables, you can do this:
Add a Floating Text Box with the text that needs to be "outside" the table. Arrange, then Group the Text Box with the Floating Table, and then set the Group to Inline.

You will just have to carefully pull harder. Push the other side back in so it is aligned, then pull it straight out.

Problems with songs I ordered when I had a different email account (now inactive), now I can't get my computer authorized to play those songs

I had ordered many songs using a different e-mail account, which is no longer active and I have no access to. When I try to play the songs, it states that the computer is not authorized to play them, then offers me the chance to log in on my old e-mail address to authorize the computer. However, my old password doesn't work anymore, and since I don't still have the old e-mail address active, I can't get a new one sent to me. When I try to do the security questions, my birthdate is not being accepted as correct, so I cannot access the account that way. How can I get my computer activated through this old e-mail address?

I can't get the dashboard to come up.

I can't get the dashboard to come up with out manually clicking on it in the dock. It was set to the middle mouse button but it changed. I went in system prefs and went to Exposé and spaces and put it as the middle mouse button but it didn't work... I still cannot open it with out clicking on the icon in the dashboard.

You may want to try repairing permissions.
