I cannot get my iPad to back up to the cloud manually or automatically. It always has before, now it hasn't since August 27th. What is wrong?

I can't get my iPad to back up to the iCloud. My iPhone backs up regularly and there is no iCloud storage space issue. It won't even back up when I hit the "Back Up Now" button. Yes, that's correct, it won't affect your account or your devices in any way.
Use the delete account button in the iCloud settings.
Then enter her iCloud details in the new screen that appears and log in. She should then be returned to the screen above but with her Apple ID at the top, enable the services she wishes to use and then tap the storage & backup option and ensure that iCloud backup is turned on.

that might be a reason. Don't worry it will turn on after some time, try connecting it to your computer or charger and see if it helps!!...

How can I get my iPad screen back on?

I cant get my iPad screen to turn on. I have tried holding the home and sleep button down and tried 'restoring' the iPad but it still not working and nothing appears on the screen. It is charged.
I was having trouble before wtih watching a video. When I went to the video app I had a TV show on and when I hit the 'done' button in the upper left corner of the iPad the iPad would freeze up. I could not get to the list of video's on the iPad because I could not get out of the show that was the most recent show I was watching.
To make it even weirder, iTunes can find the iPad so it must still be on and working (right?). But no matter what I try I can't get the screen to turn on.
I don't know if this matters, but I took the iPad with me out of the counrty for 5 weeks and I just returned and today is the first time I synched it in 5 weeks (it did sucessfully sync more than once today). It worked fine while I was gone, except I did have one time where the video would freeze the iPad like described above, but it went away after just turning the iPad off and on.
Any help would be great!

It may be possible to force the iPad into recovery mode. See <this article>.
If that does not work, I suspect your iPad has an internal problem that will require repair. If it is still in warranty, contact Apple. If out of warranty, search the web for iPad repair centers. There may be one in your city.

Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until the device restarts, so you will be able to use the iPad again.
It will try to make a backup every time your iPad is plugged to the charger and connected to a network. To prevent that this message appears soon, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and choose Backup Now

HT4859 My ipad is backed up to the cloud. I had to do a restore, but now I can't find my photos. Can I retrieve them anywhere?

My son used a passcode, but then forgot what it was. I had to do a complete restore. However, I know the Ipad had been sync'd with iCloud. Aren't my pictures in the Cloud? How do I retrieve them if they are? If they are not, then what??

Many users seem to have lost photos doing a restore of a device from an icloud backup. I don't know why some backups seem to not have photos, unless they were not in the camera roll. But, it seems they are gone unless you have been following the suggested practice of always periodically syncing photos on a device to a computer, much the same way you'd sync photos from a digital camera to a computer for archiving.

Apple don't provide @mac.com addresses anymore. They haven't done for years.
You can get an @me.com email address but ony by signing up for iCloud on an iOS device or Mac.

That's correct. You can only view things you've sync with icloud i.e contacts/calendar/etc.
You can't view your icloud backup on icloud.

you should be importing your pictures to your computer iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer that way you can view it anytime you want on your PC.

My IPad has gone blank. I was checking my mail and it started flashing and then it froze then it went blank. All I have is a screen saver picture. I can use Suri but nothing else. HELP???? I have turned it off and turned it back on still nothing.

Can I get my iPad cleaned from dust under the screen at the Apple Store?

I have an iPad that I have purchased early last year. My warranty on the iPad is up and I have realized there is dust under the screen. There is a newly built Apple Store at a mall in my city. I am wondering if I could visit the store and request a technician to open my iPad and clean the screen, if it's possible they can do that. If I can, will there be a fee? If not, what other things can I do?

No, they will not be able to clean it at the store. They will likely only be able to offer a replacement at a substantial cost (if that). Based on what you have described, unless you are far wealthier than me, you get to live with it.

How can I get me Ipad or Ipod to change the sequence of how it shuffles music? It always shuffles in the same order, not randomly so I only get the hear the same songs in the same supposedly shuffled sequence. Doesn't seem shuffled at all

I have a number of external hard drives connected to my system - when I am powering down and I try to eject the drives before powering down the system tells me the drives can't be ejected because some other program may be using them. I have no other programs running and have to force eject the drives. This is something new that's happening and I'm worried it may mean somebody is accessing my system from outside my network. What exactly is the material you have? What does item properties say about it? If it's too small you'll have to scale it up, but if you scale it up a lot it's going to get soft and pixely.
