I can't get my iPad to bring up my iTunes library. my iPod touch shows my whole library. I also download my purchases from iTunes, but where is my whole library? I have backed up to iCloud... Or so I think.

I can't get my whole iTunes library to show up on my iPad. It does show up on my iPod touch. I have backed it up to i cloud as best I know how.
I can get my past purchases to show, but not playlists or CD's previously loaded.

Actually when you have created an ad hoc network using Internet Sharing your Mac is supposed to have a self-assigned IP.
What I suggest that you do is turn everything off on the Mac and tell the iPad to forget the Internet Sharing network, then restart the Mac and the iPad. Next slowly restart Internet Sharing on the Mac and when that is set up corectly try to connect to the network from scratch with the iPad. If you password protect your Internet Sharing network I suggest that you use the Other... option on the iPad; enter the network's name, select the correct protection scheme and finally enter the password and Join.
This issue should have nothing to do with your modem or router, this is all Mac and iPad.

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

Many videos in the iTunes store are protected so that they can only be viewed on Apple Devices signed into your iTunes account. If that is the case then your TiVo will not be able to read the files. If you know how to get a video file onto your TiVo from a flash drive, then just plug a flash drive into your Mac and drag one of the videos from inside the iTunes window onto the icon for the flash drive on your Desktop or in the left sidebar of a Finder window. That will copy the actual file onto the flash drive.

You can't deauthorize an iPad. You deauthorize computers. Deauthorizing your computer will do nothing for the iPad. See the following:

Using iTunes 11 or later
Open iTunes. (You can download the latest version of iTunes.)

Can't download movies purchased from itunes on my ipad

I have many movies purchased through iTunes store. In the past I was able to download to my iPad to watch when out of wifi. Now many titles, I cannot. Previously, I downloaded Avengers and watched, now it won't. Why?

I had the same issue and was able to fix it... I went to settings / videos and turned on "show all videos". I did the same at settings / iTunes and App Store. Then, when I returned to "videos", all of my purchases were there (took a second). At that point I did NOT get the "watch" button...I DID get the "cloud" icon And was able to download.....

How can I get beyond the Apple logo on the screen of my iPod Touch 6g?

Suddenly I'm unable to get beyond the Apple logo on my iPod Touch 6g (with latest OS). I noticed that battery life was drastically reduced (been using a portable external power supply), and I turned Airplane Mode "On" to conserve battery power. I'm not sure if this has contributed to my present "freeze."
Any suggestions appreciated before I send it out for professional repair.

Airplane mode should not have anything to do with your problem
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Can I re-download my purchases from iTunes?

Hello, a couple months ago I purchased some songs on iTunes from my iPod Touch. I didn't back-up my songs on my iTunes library, and then I reset my iPod so that all my music was erased. I read online that you could re-download the songs that you already paid for for free, but when I tried to do so I was told that I had insufficient store credit since currently I am using a gift card on my account and doesn't have much money on it. It told me that I had already had this song purchased and asked me if I wanted to re-download it, and I pressed yes, and that's where I got told I had insufficient store credit. I was wondering if I could get these songs back without completely re-downloading them.

Apple currently does not let you redownload songs. (I know, It *****) the message that you saw was iTunes saying "hey you already bought this song, are you sure you want to BUY it again?"
What you can try to do is email iTunes support and tell them what happened. They will often give you song downloads to replace what you lost if you ask nicely.

Can't download videos purchased from ITunes store onto hard drive

My video Ipod already contains a number of videos. However three recently purchased videos will not download onto the computer. Each time download is attempted the following error message appears " There was a problem downloading. The disk you are attempting to use is full. Removing files and emptying the Recycle bin will free up additional space". We have repeatedly checked and deleted any old stuff on the hard drive - there is plenty of free space yet we can't get the videos onto the computer!!!!!

Hi, I am operating itunes 11 at home, using Mac OS 10.7.5.. I purchased a song at work (also a Mac, I am not sure which version of OSM or itunes). I accessed the purchase of the song in the "Purchased" menu option in itunes on my home Mac. When I tried to download the song at home so I can include it in my Library, I got the following message:
This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days.
So: just to be clear:I can only buy something from itunes from one computer and save to another with the same Apple ID only every 90 days??? And if that is the case, I have not purchased anything from my work computer within 90 days of this recent song purchase. That just does not make sense to me, since the license covers 10 devices anyway, and I am using the same Apple ID.
Let me know if I am not understanding this correctly, or am doing something wrong. It just does make not sense to me that I can't download a purchase I made from one computer to another since I am paying Apple for the music and just accessing it elsewhere, using the same account.

Thanks for the response. Yes, my husband logged on to our computer and rented a movie for us to view. That is how we use Itunes: I purchase the music, he may purchase a movie or a rental now and then. This is new, it never happend before.
Also, I contacted customer support, both by phone and email. Not only does someone else using the home computer under a different account trigger this, but so does simply activating my own user id from a different computer (one of the 5 I am allowed to under the service agreement.)
Customer support was very helpful and lifted the 90 day ban. I called them because I purchased a season pass of a TV show and could not download the first episode because it was a "past purchase" (the episode was not even available to download when I purchased the pass, so “past” is indeed relevant.)
But I don't see the point of purchasing content from Apple now. This feature limits the accessibility of legal purchases under the service agreement. Why allow 5 computers per Apple ID if activating one of them limits the ability to download content for 90 days??

Usually when you don't have enough space, your iPad will tell you that. To be sure, go to Settings > About and see how much space you have left. If you have more than 5 GB, you likely have enough space.
I'd try rebooting your iPad and see if that solves the problem. Press and hold BITH the power and home buttons at the SAME time until you see the Apple Logo, then let go of BOTH buttons and your iPad will restart.
