I can't get my mail to send out anymore. Using both ICLOUD AND GMAIL HELP

Apple software installed now I can't send out any of my emails. I used Gmail prior to wonderful update now I need to get instructions on how to make my operating system allow me to use my email account again and get my emails as I did before

your product list states an iMac (desktop computer) but no OSX version AND iOS 8.1.2 (an iDevice operating system) but no iDevice (iPad, iPhone.etc.)
Also include what "Apple software installed..." on what device(s)

Jailbreaking violates the Apple warranty and licensing agreement and voids ALL support from Apple. No one on here can help you as doing so is a violation of the Terms of Use of these Communities. If you send the iPad to Apple they will just send it back to you as they are not permitted to work on a machine that has been jailbroken.

I can't my Apple mail to work. It started when I did an up date. When I went to use mail (the little stamp at bottom) it said, "you can't use this version of mail with this version of OS X. I looked on support and was told to solve the problem by downloading combo package and security update. Did it 3 times. I did everything. Still doesn't work. I even took everything mail out of applications and the library and did those two updates and still can't get it. Could I reinstall OS X Snow Leopard and would that affect any of my documents like i photo or i tunes? I don't want to loose anything! I have spent way too long on this problem. I feel like I own PC with windows again. Please help!!!!!! Frustated

No need to reinstall Snow. Try trashing all the Mail.apps you have. (But don't empty the trash yet!) Do a search for those. Reinstall Mail from the DVD in Optional Installs. This will put Mail 4.2 in Applications, then run the Combo Update, which will update Mail to 4.5, and then the Security Update again, in that order.

I have seen all the early responses to how to fix AOL mail issues on Iphones, however no mater how many smpt servers I set up or on .... I can not get AOL mail to send from my Iphone 5, running IOS 6. I have an Iphone 4 running IOS6 and it works fine...

I can not get the Iphone 5 to send out aol mail. I have added the extra smtp server as suggested and it still will not send mail.

I am having the same problem. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I called apple restored my phone to its original and it did not work :-( Now it seems like it worked for a bit than stopped again. Now I have to contact Apple again to set up an appointment at an Apple store because it may be an issue with my phone. I have only had it for a week and half!

IF it is just today - it may be a weather related issue - last night I could not connect to this site at all and off and on this morning a number of servers and/or web pages could not be found then were (or pieces of pages)
I have had the problem where mail comes in but I can not send - and that tends to be weather related - or repair related some where on its route.
It always comes back a few hours later.
Also check size of email - if you are sending pictures or multiple documents the carrier may reject it because of size.

I have 2 email accounts set up on all of my devices but the AOL account will not send on my Macpro or Mac PC. it is fine on Ipad and Iphone.

How can I get spam mail sent straight to trash on my iPad and iPhone. Have managed to set rules on my iMac but not the rest.

How can I set up rules to get spam emails sent straight to my trash when I am using an iPhone4S or iPad3? Have managed to do this on my iMac but can't see a way to do it on the other devices. Getting about 50 a day recently using my email address but not my name in the messages - no idea why this has started but it is annoying!!

You cannot set rules on the iPad or the iPhone for mail. The only thing that you can do is to filter spam mail in your webmail settings using a web browser. The rules that set up in the mail app on the Mac do not sync across devices, those are rules for inside the mail client itself on the Mac.

I have windows 7 and can't get my bookmark to come out of the bookmark folder and onto a toolbar that I CAN ACCESS WITHOUT GOING INTO THE BOOKMARK FOLDER

I tried dragging from the site onto the toolbar, and even though that works on my Mac, doesn't on Win. 7. I saved Facebook to my bookmark toolbar in the bookmarks folder, but can't get it out of the folder.

My iphone 4s just developed a similar problem. Ultimately, after a visit to the Genius Bar at which I was offered a replacement phone for $149, I took the phone to a non-Apple repair shop which diagnosed the problem as tarnished pins in the docking connector and replaced the connector for $49.
The symptoms I experienced were that the phone would not pull a charge. I tried different cables, wall outlet versus computer USB connection, etc. The screen stayed black until I depressed the sleep button, at which time the red battery / lightening bolt symbol would flash three times and then the screen would go black.
If your battery is dead, that icon will not show up at all. If you get the icon, it means your battery is run down and needs to recharge, but the defective docking connector is preventing the battery from taking the charge.

Can I get 3g ipad service that would work in both UK and France?

I have a 3G iPad 2. I just returned from Canada, where I was able to buy a microSIM from a local Bell store, put it into the iPad, and then purchase a month's worth of 3G service. It worked great, and was MUCH cheaper than using the AT&T international data roaming plan. Now: I'm going to be in the UK and France in July, and would like to do the same sort of thing. Ideally, I would do this once (in France, our first stop) and get a microSIM and service plan that would work in both France and the UK. Is this possible, or would I have to do this twice -- once in France and once in the UK? Orange offers service in both countries, but it's not clear to me that their service would work across country boundaries without becoming some sort of roaming thing. Thanks!

Can't get e-mail to send

For the past day or so I've been able to receive, but not send, e-mail messages on both of my computers.
I purchased an AEBS last week and set it up without too many difficulties. E-mail and internet browsing were working just fine.
The only thing I can think that I changed was to install the most recent firmware update.
I know that the problem lies in the network because my laptop works fine on other networks.
I suspect that it's a simple fix, but I'm at a loss.

I am also having this problem sending e-mail, The ISP I use have port 25 filtering and when I connect through AEBS I cannot send e-mail. When I connect directly to the DSL modem the ISP provided, I have not problem sending e-mail or connecting to the internet. As soon as I use the airport extreme router, I am back to the problem again. I can browse the internet, send e-mail using the ISP web-mail client, but cannot use the apple mail client, or entourage. This must be something wrong in the airport setting. It worked fine previously, but the last 2-3 weeks I started getting the problems. hope somebody will be able to tell what they did to resolve the problem.

You can't. iSync has been discontinued since Mac OS 10.7 Lion. iSync has no connection with iCloud anyway.

And, you are sure you have provided the correct username and password for you email account? I'm not familiar with Virgin media, so you might contact their tech support to find out why you are having a problem sending mail but none receiving mail. I assume your mail account has always been POP3 and not IMAP. Typically, the outgoing mail servers are not the same for the different types of account service.

I can't get my mail app or mail settings to open. When I tap the mail icon it crashes. When I go to setting and tap the "mail, contact..." settings, that to crashes. I have turned my iPad off and back on several times and it doesn't seem to do anything. Id prefer not to restore because i ALWAYS lose info in my apps. Does anyone have any ideas? any ideas?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
