I can't get my Navigation Bar to appear. Does it have something to do with using the plug in "list.it"?

FireFox 4.0.1, Windows 7

Make sure that toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

How do I get my navigation bar to appear again?

before this I unchecked the menu bar and I only had the navigation bar showing. But then I accidently unchecked the navigation bar now only the tabs and the very top where you minimize/maximize/exit show. I need my address bar back.

Press either Alt or F10 to temporarily display the menu bar. Then in the View menu select Toolbars and click on the names of the toolbars that you want to display (selected toolbars will have a tick by the name).

I can't get my playlist on my iPod Touch to shuffle while I'm running using the Nike . The playlist keeps defaulting to play songs in alphabetical order.

I use my iPod Touch with Nike+ while running. I have setup my workouts into my iPod but when I can't get my playlists to stay on "shuffle". The playlists only play in alphabetical order. Is there a way to make sure the songs play on shuffle and not in alphabetical order?

similar problem with my 6th generation ipod nano. if i select a playlist within the nike+ workout function it only ever plays the songs in alphabetical order of artists.
the shuffle works fine if i'm playing the playlist outside of the nike+ environment
never had these problems with my 2nd generation or 4th generation nanos

My battery life doesn't last the work day. Any suggestions on getting longer life? Does it have something to do with Apps?

I can not get my battery life to last an entire work day. All I really do is check emails, calendars and facebook. Usually by 4pm, it is 3/4 of the way used up. Someone told me that I could be because of my apps and that they could be runnign all the time. Is there a way to turn them off when not using?

I have unlinked all my devices from an old sync account and setup a new sync. In this process I have used the same email address as before.
I have no use of my old sync account, therefore the question is:
Can I delete the old sync account (via https://account.services.mozilla.com/ ) and - implicitly - all data associated with it without affecting my new Firefox account (and its data) in any way?

Yes you can https://services.mozilla.com/delete-account/ and put in your username and password, and hit permanently delete your account. I personally wouldn't you never know if you may need it in the future.

How can I get extra scroll bars in Firefox to read Yahoo mail on a small screen, the way Explorer has?

When I read my Yahoo emails on my little Asus eee pc, I have to use Explorer because it has extra scroll bars that allow me to scroll back and forth to see things that there is no room for on the screen. Firefox doesn't have these scroll bars.

I have not tried this myself, but I think in about:config: In order to change your Firefox Configuration please do the following steps :

dom. disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars is the one that is set to false by default as well that prevents the scrollbars on a popup from being disabled. i am not sure if viewing Yahoo mail is a popup. I do not use it, but I will assume its not.

How else can I get my password if I forgot it to log in? Besides just using the hint?

I have two user accounts on my macbook pro. One I use for mostly everything, and the other is just for editing videos and stuff. I haven't been on that second one in a while, and I just recently tried to log onto it and it is saying my password is incorrect. I know I am typing in the correct password. When I clicked on password hint, it said the brady bunch, and I know for a fact that isn't my hint. Does anyone know if there is any other way to find out what my password was? Does this mean someone hacked into that account and changed the password? Please help, thanks!

When I shut down computer I get a clear grey screen telling me I have to shut computer of using the power button?

Everytime I shut down my computer it gets a grey transperent screen over the desktop and it has a box in the middle that tells me I have to shut the computer off holding the power button until the computer quits.
I had been trying to install a print/scan driver. Also during the course my Suitcase fusion app tells me it can't open the fusion fontvault at that location.
I've been using suitcase for quite awhile now so I'm not sure wht it's acting up now?

My wifi hotspot on my iPad can't be used. Does it have something to do with the device?

I try to use my iPad hotspot on my android device. I managed to connect to it once using wifi hotspot. And now, everytime I try to reconnect. It won't work.

1: Backup your user files folders of Documents, Music, Pictures etc., to a external powered drive (not TimeMachine) and disconnect.
2: Insert the 10.6 installer disk and reboot holding c
3: Simply reinstall OS X without erasing the drive, it will overwrite the installed version of OS X and the root level software, but leave your Applications folder contents (expect Apple bundled programs) and user files alone. (but backup anyway in case it fails)
4: Reboot and the Integro is gone out of your system, but there may still be something laying around in Applicaitons to delete. Use Software Update to get up to date.
5: You don't need anti-virus on a Mac, Apple provides it already for you sight unseen.
6: If you Software update, the bad certificate issues are pulled, thus are not a threat.

I dropped my iPhone and the screen is now shot so I had to switch to an old phone I had. But everyone with iPhones can't text me they all send as iMessages. Does it have something to do with my iPad?

Apple still has your mobile phone number associated to the iMessages account. Normally this wouldn't be a problem as iMessages will failover to an SMS if they were not recieved but if you have an iPad still recieving messages for that phone number it won't fail.
The fix is easy... just go into your Settings on the iPad and remove your phone number from iMessages. It is under the Send & Recieve option.
