I just got a new ipad air which came along with free iwork and ilife apps. I would like to know whether I can transfer the apps to my macbook pro for free?
As when I browse through app stores it actually shows as not purchased.I was under the impression they were separate apps. When you bought your iPad Air, you got the iOS versions, but if you want the MacOS versions, you will need to purchase them.
They were free when you purchased a new iOS/MacOS product, but the free software would most likely coincide with that. -

What are you trying to accomplish, get contacts, emails?
1. Check icloud.com to make sure all stuff is there for the above.
2. on the new ipad make sure you are using the same icloud.com email and log in.
3. You will need to be connected to the internet for all 1 and 2.
4. on the iPad go into Setting, icloud and make sure the items you want to cross sync to devices are checked.

it did so. Contacts on my macbook pro does show up this way. I do have a mobile me account and in the past syncing was no problem. What setting has changed?The phone number format as well as the date language and format and the time format are controlled by the Region Format setting. Go to Settings > General >International > Region Format. When you change a region format, you can go back one page (to International) and see an example of the date/time/phone number format that your selected region format will produce.

As AT&T has not officially unlocked your phone it must have been hacked to use another carrier. So when you updated it has relocked itself to AT&T. There is no official unlock so this will happen anytime you update.

P.S when i tried upgrading my phone before,i got an error 11 ....how can i fix that??Error 1015 means that your iPhone is jailbroken or hacked. There is no solution that you can get in an Apple hosted forum.

How can I get the phone to recognize mini SD Card?
I have a 32G Sandisk SD Card in the G4 mini but one day the phone said the card was blank and unsupported. I purchased another SD Card and installed it however the phone does not recognize that I have an SD card. When I try and save music or pics to the card the phone says I have removed the storage. How can I get the phone to recognize the card storage?
First of all do you Mount or Unmount the card from the settings menu before pulling the card out of its slot? Make sure that the option Mount is greyed out in you settings menu when the card is in the phone. If not select it. If you pull the card out of the phone select Unmount first. You can also try formatting the card from the same settings menu. If these two things do not work, then either the card is defective or the card hardware slot is defective.
