I have tried to update my Mac and it tries---but just sits there and spins, saying: configuring installation-----what do I do now?
I had the same problem. I had to go here and install the next combo upgrade. http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosx1058comboupdate.html. I was trying to upgrade from 10.5 to 10.5.8. After this was done my software installation went smoothly.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

when i plug the ipod in and launch the updater, because all that it does is show a folder with a ! on it when it is on, it says that i need to stop all other applocations accessing it but their isn't anything. i even made all programs stop by the safly remove icon on my system tray. what should i do?
okay...i think i might have figured it out...
go to the explore icon in the library of limewire, then it opens to a new window where all of your limewire songs are...i played those songs from the new window instead of playing them from limewire, and the computer automatically played using iTunes. once the computer plays the song w/iTunes, it's in the iTunes library.
if that makes sense to you...that's how i got it. its kind of tedious, but it's the only way i could figure out to do it. hope it works for you! -

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -
I can't get any updates or download any new apps from iTunes because I "cannot connect to the iTunes Store" or sometimes it says server. I have no trouble getting my email or surfing the Internet, so it is a problem specific to accessing iTunes. Incredibly frustrated! Please help!

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud for teams CC Packages which says that Acrobat XI Pro is installed. Your support page says it does not install Acrobat and I have to look in the Extensions folder for an MSI file. I have run a number of searches and cannot find the Acrobat extension folder please advise how can I get these applications to load onto my computer?
Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps. The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members. I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?
Finally what other product downloads in Creative Cloud do not actually download as part of the Creative cloud Packager for downloading the apps? e.g. acrobat and what else?My apologies Eadeszoo I believe our support agents are unavailable on January 1.

Hi. I have a Macbook Pro, Mac OS X, version 10.6.8; I am getting error messages about updating my browser. I checked the apple store to see if I could download a new version of Safari, but could not. How can I get an updated safari browser at this time without downloading the new OS X Yosemite. I know I might need to download the Yosemite, but would prefer to wait untill all the glitches are fixed. I have learned that the Yosemite may cause wifi failure and e-mail connection problems. Since I am not a computer expert, I don't need the headaches trying to figure out how what is wrong and how to fix a bug, so I would prefer to wait untill apple has totally fixed all the glitches that the Yosemite has. In the meanwhile, I just need to know how to go about updating a newer version of safari. I thing I have a 5.0

I have Elements 10 and a Nikon D7100. PSE10 CR 6.7 does not support the 7100 NEF. How can I get the updates to do this?
The D7100 requires camera raw 7.4 which is not compatible with Photoshop Elements 10.
Your two main options are
1) Buy a newer version of Photoshop Elements
2) Use the Adobe DNG converter to convert the NEF files to DNG files which can then be used by Photoshop Elements 10.

If it's a Mac font and you're on Windows, you can't. If you are also on a Mac, you'll need to purchase the fonts (fonts are generally non-transferable, like software. One of the reasons pdf exists), install them and try your edits.
But it's best to edit the original document and create a new pdf when finished.
