I can't get photos to transfer from iPad to macbook

I just got a new MacBook and updated my iPad to IOS7. Only a small fraction of my photos transfered through iCloud. I tried syncing the photos through an iTunes sync with the new MB but only a portion of the photos show up in iPhoto on the MB. And each time I try to resync, iPhoto tells me that all photos have been synced but they clearly have not. Any suggestions?
I am also trying to back up through Dropbox but would much prefer to sync through iPhoto.

Where did the photos on the iPhone come from? What is in Camera Roll on the iPhone?
Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad and iPhone?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10-15 seconds).
No data will be lost.

iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPhone, or iPad.
With the iPad connected, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select transfer purchases from - the name of your iPad.

New hard drive, can't get photos to load from "iTunes sync" back into aperture or iPhoto

My hard drive crashed while in for service. I had over 10,000 photos in aperture and they were not able to recover any of them. When I connected my iPhone 5 to iTunes, I see at the bar on the bottom that shows storage that there are 10,000+ photos but I can't get at them. I can see a few photos on my phone that did not sync to the new iPhoto so I know there is still something left on my phone too. How do I rescue my photos?

Good news- this is all so much simpler that you think. (I know because I too struggled with it for days.) It turns ou that you have to do NOTHING to set up streaming with 2.0. Once you have synced your computer, just leave your computer running and on your TV using ATV you will see whatever movies you have imported into iTunes in the movie menu even if you have not synced them. The only way that you can tell that they are not synced is that when you select them to play the streaming bar will appear briefly at the bottom of your TV screen to indicate that it is being synced. If you turn your computer off the movie that you have chosen would not even appear in the menu.

My hard drive died, how can I get my pictures back from iPad onto a new library on the hard drive?

I have a Mac Book, and as it's a little older, and was getting full, I moved my iPhoto library onto an external hard drive. This external hard drive was always plugged in, and iPhoto used it as it's store so to speak.
However, the hard drive has died which means I now have no access to any of my photo's.
As I sync both my iPad and iPhone to iphoto in it entirity, at the minute I have ALL my photos on both my iPad and my iPhone.
How can I recover the photo's onto my mac or new hard drive from the ipad or iphone? I don't dare plug either in at the minute as I don't want the Sync to remove the photos.

Can't get photos to delete off iPad

I have been stuck for days trying to sync my ipad. It keeps getting stuck on Waiting for changes to be applied. It will add any new apps but it won't add new photos. I have tried all kinds of variations to adjust what photos sync but I can't get it to make any changes. I have deleted the iphoto app and am trying to get it to sync photos from an empty folder but it won't remove the pictures that are already on the ipad. It gets to the waiting for changes to be applied and then the sync arrows disappear on my ipad and nothing else happens.
The other problem that's happening is that iphoto stays on loading and won't show the pics that are on my camera roll. I tried repairing the database and that worked for a bit but started happening again while I was trying to get my photos off my ipad.

You can reset your Ipad to factory conditions and restore your APPS if your Ipad is completely unresponsive.
Reset your Ipad under general settings first however.

Can't post photos on Facebook from iPad since upgrading to ios8

Since upgrading to ios8 I can no longer post photos on Facebook from existing photos on my iPad 2. Is this a problem connected to the upgrade or something else? Also, since the upgrade my keyboard sometimes freezes up and I have to refresh the page and start over and lose whatever I had been working on. Also an ios8 issue?

I hate to sound obnoxious, and I really do appreciate your efforts to help me. The link actually is not what Facebook normally does. Yes, the thumbnail goes to your FB profile. But if you had pasted almost any other link in the link publisher, you'd get a second thumbnail and a L/R arrow that allows you to scroll through the graphics posted on the linked site and pick one to serve as a thumbnail from your website. Then, had you linked to a page with a long and cumbersome address, you'd have seen the link "cleaned up" aesthetically so that you would not see 4 lines of URL, but a tidy site title and abbreviated link. That's what I'm missing, and scrolling down that iWeb interest page on Facebook shows a lot of others with the same issue.
But as I said, earlier, I really have about stopped caring and am planning to take Ethmoid's advice and can iWeb altogether and look to some other arrangement for managing my site, though I find it ironic that I was urged to dump iWeb by people on the Apple discussion board!

I cannot get photos in PC from Ipad.

Sometimes, photos can be passed to PC from Ipad. But sometimes not. I don't know why. So annoyed.

Best way is to use another App, something like Photo Manager Pro which is an excelent app. You can do everything you can't with Apple's sofware: order pictures in the order you want, any order; copy, paste, transfer... you name it, it does it.

Transfer from iPad to Macbook pro

Hello, I use to have a pc and it died, i bought a macbook pro and i would now like to transfer everything i have on my iPad (music, photos, etc ) onto my macbook but i don't know how to and my old computer is completely dead i can't get it to turn on, so i can't have access to my old files.
Does any one has had this problem before ? I synchronised my ipad with the new itunes library, but only the things i bought via itunes store were transfered
is there any way i could retrieve all my music and pictures ?

The iTunes content sync is one-way: computer to device. Apple makes no provision to extract synced content from your iPad. While you can "transfer" purchased content, non-iTunes purchased content & photos synced to your iPad require third-party software to extract from your iPad:

The applications on your iPad are built to work with iOS - and your MacBook Pro works with OS X: a completely different operating system, so, no, your iPad apps will not work with your MacBook Pro.
However, you should be able to use your Numbers files from your iPad on your Mac if you purchase Numbers for Mac in the Mac App Store - as a matter of fact, if you just bought a new MacBook Pro, you should get Numbers, Pages and Keynote free from the Mac App Store (if they're not already on your machine). I'm not certain how it works as I've not purchased a new Mac lately, but you should be able to get information from here -> http://www.apple.com/creativity-apps/mac/up-to-date/.

This has just happened to me. All photos form 3-5 (approx) days ago are gone. :---( An icon is there but the photo doesnt appear.

Transfer from iPad to MacBook Air

I'd like to transfer some songs from my iPad to my MacBook Air. I understand this is possible but when I follow the steps I don't see a choice to transfer SELECTED items - only ALL the items I've purchases on my iPad will transfer. Is there a way to select?

There is no way to select, Transfer Purchases will transfer all purchases.
Anyway it's a good idea to have purchases saved on your computer, since Apple never promised it will be always available and if your iPad need to restore.
