I can't get Silverlight 4 or 5 to work on my IMAC-Help Please

Hello. over a year ago I deleted my Netflix account because I couldn't use my computer to watch netflix. This happened after I Updated my silverlight. I kept getting a Player error 1001 message. I called Netflix who were useless and pawned me off to Microsolf who tried to help initially by email and then gave up saying it was a mac problem so I then ended my service. I recently rejoined thinking that after a year and an upgrade to LION, the problem would have been fixed in an update--but it hasnt and I'm still getting the same story from Netflix and the same error message. I tried installing and uninstalling from different site- different versions (4 and 5) with no luck. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks inadvance.

Go back to the beginning ...
Uninstall Silverlight by following these steps: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/get-started/install/removing-silverlight -mac.aspx . Also trash:
/Library/Receipts/Silverlight.pkg
/Library/Receipts/Silverlight_W2_MIX.pkg
/Library/Receipts/WPFe.pkg
Reboot, and reinstall Silverlight 5 from: http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/
Also, from a Microsoft troubleshooting note .... ensure your browser is not setup to run using Rosetta (of course Rosetta can't run under Lion, however...)
Double-click the hard drive icon on the desktop.
Choose the Applications folder.
Find the icon for the browser that you are using. Hold down the CONTROL key while you click this icon.
Select Get Info.
Locate the Run using Rosetta option and make sure that this check box is not selected. If it is selected, click to clear the check box. Close the window.
On the Apple menu, click Restart.
After the computer restarts, again try to access the Web site that generated the error message.

I have used pro tools and its cake compared to this. I've searched tutorials and they just click on the fade tool and fade a track just like in pro tools. But for some reason mine doesn't even do that. Any suggestions? I also see no option to "Flatten stack". Not sure if the two are related.

You cannot apply fades to Take Folders. Within a Comp, crossfades are automatically applied according to Preferences:Audio:General.
Flattening a Track Stack is not the same thing as flattening a Take Folder. To do the latter, click on the Take/Comp menu top left of the Take folder

Before I updated this I turned my phone on, entered my password and if I pressed one of the apps it immediately went into that with no problem. Since updating it immediately I press to go into an app it comes with a big white square on the screen stating "sign into iCloud" Enter the Apple ID password for my email address. Then asks for my password to be entered. If i press cancel it reverts to the app for 1 second then goes back to the above screen. The only other option is to sign into iCloud. I have never used iCloud before. Can you help please.

i just bought a logitech extreme 3D pro joy stick. How do i make it work with my iMac? I can find a place to calibrate it. I does show up in system information as installed in a 3.0 USB.

Can't get my employer's vpn to work on new iMac

My place of employment has set me up on their vpn using "connectra". I used this for the first time (successfully) on my old iMac. It was using os 10.5.7. I bought a new iMac using 10.5.8 and now I cannot log on using the vpn. I am only able to use Firefox to log on to their vpn and it keeps giving me an error the page https://connectra.... Failed to apply assigned office mode IP data. Any ideas? Is it my new computer? I don't understand why my other iMac can access it, but my new mac can't. HELP!

WTH? Optical S/PDIF input works absolutely fine, but Coaxial refuses to work in every attempt I've made. I even wen't as far as buying another Coaxial S/PDIF cable making sure that the cable has the proper 75-Ohm resistance... I'm far passed confused at this point. I've already returned my first X-Fi platinum and I'm having the exact same issues on this one. So I'm ruling out the possibility of a bad I/O dri've.
I'm looking for a response from somebody who actually is employed by creative to help me with a solution to this. As it's obvious no one thus far has an idea as to why it isn't working.
Is this just a software issue? Or is it a hardware issue? Also, I'd like to know what the point of the JP2 jumper on the actual X-Fi card? Would that help me sort this issue out or no? Please help.

I can't get the reset homepage procedure to work on Firefox 26; Help!

I followed directions EXACTLY on how to set a new homepage... hasn't worked and I've checked and rechecked that I'm doing it right. I type in the url for the page I want and when it loads, I click on the icon at the immediate LEFT of the nav bar and drag it all the way to the right and drop it on the homepage icon, but nothing happens. So what am I doing wrong? This is a desktop pc with Intel CPU and Windows XP with all 3 service packs. I hope all this works because I'm about ready to ditch FF26 and go back to IE8!

Can't get my nokia messaging email to work anymore

It was working fine then yesterday all of a sudden it quit syncing to my email. I enter password and it says verifying password please wait.....then it says login unsuccessful please try again.
Well I have more than one email so I thought I just set up my other one. Then it says unable to connect to server please try again later. I even tried my daughters email like she suggested and it still doesn't work.
I don't know what happen. It was working fine yesterday and then today it quit working.

I always assummed that the mic was part of iSight (intertwined?). The mic is situated right next to iSight. It would seem to me the solutions would be the same some what.
Regarding the OP, I also suspect his/her problem is hardware. It's rather unusual for the internal mic to not work yet the iSight does.

Ok here is a good link Re: how do i setup/connect to my wireless printer I assume the printer is wirless if so this should work. First turn the printer on then go into system preferences and then printers and scanners. It should look for the printer that is on the same wifi as you and then just set it up.
