I need help with the leapfrog connect application. It won't open and it keeps saying something about the font Testgen. Please help me if you can.
Considering that the "Most recent updates" link on the Leapfrog Connect homepage is dated November 2009, I wouldn't hold out too much hope that your software is compatible with Lion, released in July 2011.

Old ipod, can not get it to connect with itunes & i no longer have the computer it was once synced to. It will not allow me to do anything but turn it off & on.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

I have sownloaded an HD movie from iTunes store and when I attempted to play it on my Windows 7 PC a error message popped up saying something about the display not being compatible for HD movies. I have tried changing the display resolution several times but it didn't help. Now it just comes up with a blank screen when I attempt to play it. SD movies work fine. I have the latest version of iTunes installed.
Can anyone help me resolve this problem?Apparently the display is required to be HDCP compatible to view HD movies in iTunes. My display isn't so this is my problem. I contacted Apple support and they have agreed to credit me for the HD movie and I have now downloaded the SD version.

I installed an Extreme in place of an old Express, the various phones and Ipads seem to work on the WiFi but the Mac itself will not connect. It says something about the IP address being used by another device. Second wifi network was also created. The Mac worked for a few minutes and then gaev up citing eth IP problem......any clues people??
If you have not already done so, now would be a good time to perform a complete network power cycle.......to give everything a fresh start.
Power off every device on the network.....computers, printers, hard drives, etc......in any order that you want
Wait a full minute
Start the modem, and let it run by itself for 2-3 minutes
Start the next device connected to the modem and let it run a full minute
Keep starting devices one at a time about a minute apart until the entire network is back up
Check the network -

Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

When recently syncing my iPhone a message came up regarding transferring purchases or something.. In haste I pressed the wrong reply.. My phone synced, but removed all of the songs I purchased on my iPhone. Although they are still on my iTunes and I can play them.. but they will not sync back to the iPhone what so ever.. Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7 workstations, the appdata folder is redirected to a network share at \\server\profiles and several users are unable to use bookmarks getting an error about the file being in use. I'm wondering if maybe my antivirus (Trend Micro) or my backups (Symantec) might be locking up the places.sqlite for these users? Though I don't understand why it would be for some users and not others. I can't be the first one and I'm not coming up with anything searching google endlessly. Anybody else run into this?
hello, yes this is likely caused by an external program locking access to the bookmarks/history database. you could try renaming the file in question & see if it is working when it is regenerated, this will clear bookmarks and the history though, so keep a backup...

The internet was working fine til 10:31am philippine time. Was downloading OSX Lion, at that time it was somewhere half. Then all of a sudden internet failed and lost connection. Called my ISP immediately and was told it would take 24-48hours for the service to be restored. THen after ending the call the OSx Lion icon disappeared. I dont know what to do. Im not techie at all.
