I can't get the right effect but a blue area in OpenGL Renderer

Everything is fine when I use CPU render my project.But after I choosed "Use OpenGL renderer", I got a blue area instead of a shadow and figure. Is there anybody who can tell me why?

You really don't want to render your file using OpenGL. Stick with the software renderer. In looking at your screenshots, it appears that the inability for alpha channels to be rendered via OpenGL may be one possible cause of your issue. OpenGL in After Effects comes in handy for a limited number of things compared to it's usefulness in 3D work (you likely wouldn't render final product with OpenGL here either) or gaming.

How many have you got authorized?
Maybe deauthorize one of them.

2) Yesterday I made the subclips with the In-Out Points and Command-U, the benefit is that I've seen the clip before naming it. Now I'm using markers, it's benefit is that I can write comment and (the later) clip name at once, the drawback is that I have to view to the next shot's beginning before knowing what the shot contains.
But now I found out that I can reconnect my clips independently to the format I converted the master clip to. I reconnected the media to the original AVI file and it worked, too! The more I work with, the more I'm sold on it... - although it doesn't seem to be able to read and use the date information within the DV AVI.
1) Ok, I tried something similar within FCE. Just worked, but the file size still remains. Which codec settings should I use? Is the export to DV in MOV with a quality of 75% acceptable for both file size and quality? Or would be encoding as H.264 with best quality an option for archiving, knowing that I have to convert it back to DV if I (maybe) wan't to use it for editing later? Or anything else?

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

Can't get the right animation in Simple Blur - Help on How To

Ok. Opening shot of a project.
Going from black to a photo still. About 5 seconds total duration of the intended effect.
I drop Simple Blur onto the front of the clip containing the photo.
There's a nice transition from black to vague blobs to a focused, clean image.
But what I want is 4.5 seconds of very slow fade into unrecognizeable blobs, and then a quick half-second focus into the image. You don't recognize what's coming into focus until the very last moment.
Setting keyframes and curves on the simple blur and compositing opacity video animation parameters does not seem to be enabling me to get the desired effect. Even if I set both parameters to "maximum blur" and "maximum opacity" until the final half-second. The result is not what I'm after.
Moving the blur parameter doesn't do much but adjust from kind-of-blurry-but-recognizeable to perfect focus.
The opacity parameter just seems to change the brightness of the image (but not from total black to 100% image.
There seems to be another aspect of this transition that I'm looking to control, but can't.
Ideas?

I hope, I'm not lost in translation … what I would do:
split your clip at the position from 'blurred' to 'keyframed blurr':
it allows you to create a looooong dissolve
and a rapid blurred>>sharp effect
is that what you're trying to accomplish?

I can not get the right frequency out of my NI-DAQ 6062E card from Matlab

My name is Johan and I want to generate an analog square waveform with 5.76 kb/s in frequency with my NI DAQCard-6062E from Matlab.
When I run in Matlab the program below, I get the frequency of 5.747 kb/s on the output channel (even thou I have chosen 5.76 kb/s). When I try to change the sample rate, to higher values in Matlab, I get the same frequency until I choose the sample rate to 5.79 kb/s. The output signal is in that case is 5.813 kb/s.
So my problem is that I can't get the exact frequency of 5.76 kb/s.
How do I solve this.

[SOLVED] - Can't get the right Intel video driver to work!

Just reinstalled my wifes Laptop. When she got to work this morning she had Windows XP, when she gets home shes gonna have Archlinux!
Anyway...
She has an old Toshiba laptop and I can't get the correct video driver so I can't fire up X.
lspci says VGA compatible controller: Intel Corportaion 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)
I have tried:

I assume this is Apple Mail. Try this:
Preferences > Accounts > your-first-account
Select Outgoing Mail Server of account/name you wish to use and check Use only this server
Repeat for other accounts.

Convert a catalog form PSE 7 to PSE 13 : Conversion works, but images are not related to the catalog anymore so you have to connect each single picture !!! How can I get the right relation automatically ?

Building: Im trying to build a report where I can calculate the difference between two dates (Example between 1-1-2001 and 31-12-2001) but also showing (per name per identifier) the current balance of a customer per date(As shown in the Report attachment).
Problem: The problem is that the totals are not correct, they get multiplied on random numbers (Checking it with Count and CountDistinct I learned that I probably made a mistake in my SQL, so I copied SQL in this question as well).

Please post DDL, so that people do not have to guess what the keys, constraints, Declarative Referential Integrity, data types, etc. in your schema are. Learn how to follow ISO-11179 data element naming conventions and formatting rules (you have no idea,
do you?). Temporal data should use ISO-8601 formats. Code should be in Standard SQL as much as possible and not local dialect.
This is minimal polite behavior on SQL forums. Did you know that camelCase does not work? Google the research. There are no generic “<nothing in particular>_name”, <magic universal>_identifier”, etc in a valid data model.
This codes tells us you have attribute splitting in the schema:

I am sorry you have only one “Participant” and one “Position”, which is what your singular table name tell the world.
Your “vested” and “unvested” are a status value, but you put them into separate tables. This is as silly as having “Male_Personnel” and “Female_Personnel” tables instead of the correct “Personnel” table. This why you are re-creating the name-address columns
every time!
What kind of entity is an “external”? You have an “external_identifier”, so there has to be such an entity. Even worse you have:
RIGHT(PAR.external_identifier, (LEN(PAR.external_identifier)-4))
This tells us that this vague column is a concatenation of two or more data elements. This is not a valid schema design. And when you write:
AR.identifier = POS.participant_identifier
Your magical generic “identifier” changes to a participant. In RDBMS, a data element has one and only one name, and doer not change from table to table. Can it also become a squid? An automobile?
I see you are an old punch card programmer. Back in the old days, we put one expression per card (line) so we could re-arrange the deck. This also meant that the comma went at the front line. And we even parentheses and keywords on single cards! WOW!
You do not know about COALESCE() and use CASE the way that you would use IF-THEN in COBOL. Look at this code. Why did you think that “@datum” was a clear, precise data element name? It is the most generic name for a single data element value (not even the element
itself).

But we never put metadata into a schema. NEVER. “Validity” makes no sense. Is it a date? A physical location? What? It has to be on a scale on which theta operators apply. Your validity hs no ordering!
You do not know that SQL uses <> and not != from the C family.
We do not use bit flags; that was assembly language, not SQL. The term “Euro” is a monetary unit of measurement, not value.
You are getting garbage data because you have a garbage schema. Post the DDL and someone might be able to help you replace it.

Welcome to Apple Communities.
You need to migrate some files to your Mac using Windows Migration Assistant. Migrate your Music folder and the folder with the photos. Then, in your Mac, you will have iTunes as you have in your old computer. After that, open iPhoto and drag the photos to it. Finally, connect your iPad to your Mac and sync it
