I am getting the EXACT same problem. I started to watch an iTunes purchased TV Show episode back on February of 2014. I stopped after about 15 minutes to come back and watch it later.
Yesterday, I tried to continue the tv show, and NOTHING. All I get is a black screen with no audio. The time bar is advancing, so iTunes thinks it is playing. BUT NOTHING.
Can anyone assist with this problem?
PS: I use my iTunes on my PC only, and have for years without this problem.
PC is fully HDCP compliant.
Intel i7-4770K
Windows 7 Professional
16 GB ram
256 GB Samsung SSD
2 - Nvidia Gefore 560ti GTX in SLI

I bought a full season of a TV show. I downloaded all episodes, I went to my iTunes library, selected the episode I wanted to watch. I got this message: This computer is already associated with an Apple ID. I can't for the life of me get the TV shows to play. I went on iTunes and when to my purchases. Clicked on the episodes and the same message popped up. How do I get these to play? I also see my download box with an error message saying it has paused the download. I click unpause and it just pauses again. I have been able to get one of the episodes to play once through, but now it gives me the same message.

It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

I've run diagnostics. Can't find device. I've tried resetting. The toggle has been turned on and off.

Cable works fine on my other iPod. Reset by pressing menu and center button together for 6-10 seconds. Left it to charge for many hours. Started acting up while running. Suddenly the music stopped playing but my Nike + was still working for the rest of my run. Took it straight it home and plugged it in to the wall to recharge since the battery was fairly low. Looked like it recharged ok but then screen went blank and now does it not show up on iTunes, does not seem to recharge by the wall charger (apple wall charger plugged into a surge protector in India). I have turned the hold switch off and on many times.
Sounds like a repair issue, which is not easy to do in India :(

Can't get the Daily Show to play on my computer...

21.5" iMac Intel Core 2 Duo, OS X 10.6.8. Tried reinstalling the combo 10.6.8 updater with no joy. Clips won't play in any browser- Safari, Chrome or Firefox. Flash plug-in 10.3.183.10 is installed. Used to play fine. Anyone have any suggestions?

Ditto here. I have tried Safari, Chrome, and Firefox and cannot get Daily Show clips to play.
I have turned off Ad Blocker.
I have updated Flash Player.
I'm running the latest Mavericks OSX.
What gives?
The only thing that I can think of is I'm in New Zealand and Comedy Central has suddenly kiboshed videos outside the USA? They played fine before this format change.

Getting the TV shows to play automatically the next episode

Last night my iPod Touch automatically started playing the next episode of show ... this is something that I always wished that it did ... do you know how to make it do it ...

I know I can do that ... but my library is 1 terabyte ... So I sync my episodes every other day so I can get the most out of my 64 gigs ...
I don't wanna do that ... I have way too many episodes ... around 5000 ...
But I did something and all of a sudden I got 17 episodes on the screen and it started playing them one by one ...
Wondering what I did and how that happened ...

iCloud.com requires Safari 6 or later, Firefox 22 or later, or Google Chrome 28 or later. Have you tried all of those?
If you have, have you tried clearing your browser cache and cookies?
For the first tine since 1989 I'm thinking about buying a PC.
You'd have exactly the same problems on an 8 year old PC too. It's a bit unreasonable to expect such an old Mac to continue to be compatible as software is constantly updated.
Saying that, I'm still able to access iCloud.com successfully in Safari v5.0.6 on a PowerPC Mac running Mac OS X 10.5.8, so the problem you're having is likely to be a browser issue, not something inherently wrong with the computer.
Since all this crap started, Mail won't download my Mac.com or me.com email.
The iCloud.com website is totally unconnected to Mail's ability to download email via IMAP. Have you checked the mail server settings are correctly setup and up-to-date?

My question is, how do I get the text messaging preview to just pop up so that I can see the name only when the lock screen is on? The conventional ways of doing this, such as using turning off the SMS preview under the "passcode lock", well that option no longer exists, or if it does, I'm somehow missing it.
When I go to the "messages" setting under settings on my phone, I still don't see an option of turning it off.
If I can just get the name of the person sending the message, as I had it before, I'd be happy.

When buying HD versions of shows, only the HD copy will automatically download now (probably due to requests from people who don't need/want the SD version and complained about it being forced on them). The SD copy can be downloaded from your purchases area in iTunes. On the main iTunes Store page, go to Purchases under the Quick Links and then select TV shows. Click the "Not On This Computer" button. Uncheck the "Download HD when available" box and you should then see the SD copies of the shows and be able to download them.

No, never had any problems before. I heard another friend had the same problem with that episode. But I don't know what I can do about it.
And yes, tried to restard the episode. Just freezes at that exact spot.

Not directly no. However if they have an enabled app or an enabled website and you have an iPod/iPhone/iPad, you could use Airplay to stream them to the Apple TV.
Note though, not many that provide content on a computer via the web want you to be able to watch it in comfort on a TV, so there isn't all that many providers that enable Airplay.
