I can't hear anything on my iPad mini 4 and I tried everything what do I do?!? Even when I have headphones on!?
Who is your email provider?
You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears. Try again to see if the problem persists.
If yes, try deleting the mail account and adding it again.

I found the same issue. I went into my yahoo email and did a search for duplicate addresses. Most of those type emails were spam and I think maybe they hacked into my contacts. Once I removed that person the issue was solved. You could add the person again after the issue is resolved.

Hey there! So I plugged in my ipod to my computer and it didn't show up where it normally does. I need to update my song list. How can I make it appear? It doesn't come up in iphoto either. A few days ago my sis plugged it into another computer but I don't know if she synched it to the other computer, and frankly, she won't remember. Think about it... She plugged it in to another computer, she doesn't remember what she did (yeah, right), and now your iPod is not being recognized by your computer...
Also take into consideration how old is your sister, and how much does she know about electronics? -
I really want to know if I have to replace it. I just replaced an iPod and I really don't want to replace the iPad. I probably should though. That yogurt got in the charging part too. It will charge I just can't hear anything.
Get it replaced. You will never be able to clean it.

I can't hear anything during a phone call
This just randomly started up this morning, and the nearest Apple store is 2 hours away, so I'm turning here. I have an iPhone 4 (not the S) and the newest IOS. When someone calls me, my phone rings like normal, but when I answer, I can't hear them at all. I can make phone calls, but when I do, I can't hear the phone ringing before the person answers, and I still can't hear anything on the other line. I only know that the call went through because the screen says a call is in progress, and the people I've tested it on can hear me just fine.
I've tried resetting my phone to factory settings, and I've turned it off and on multiple times. I don't know what else I can do. My phone is in good shape: a hairline crack in the screen, but it's just cosmetic. Nothing else is wrong. I hear all the alerts and everything else I'm supposed to hear, and I was able to have normal conversations as of last night. I dropped my phone early this morning from about 3 feet off the ground, but it's in an Otterbox and well protected. I am somewhat panicking that I can't talk to people, and I'm not eligible for an upgrade until July. Also, I did not purchase the extended Applecare plan.
If someone could please help, I would really appreciate it. I'm planning on taking it to Best Buy once they open. I don't know if they can do anything, but I'm stuck.One more thing:
I suspect that this problem is not related to the “headphones mode problem” because I have no problems with the laudspeaker.

I have the problem with my iPhone and my friends have this problem too.
My iPhone have the problem about calling and answer the call. When I use my iPhone to call I can't hear anything from my iPhone but the person that I call can answer it but when answer both of us can't hear anything and when I put my iPhone to my face the screen is still on and when I quit the phone application and open it again it will automatic call my recent call. And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. Please check these problem I restored my iPhone for 4 time now in this week. I lived in Hatyai, Songkhla,Thailand and many people in my city have this problem.

The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

ITunes 7.3.1 - I can't hear anything!
I upgraded to the new version of iTunes the other day and since then, when I've tried to play a song, the counter still goes like the song is playing but I can't hear anything. I can still hear the sound effects on my computer and I tried playing a movie on QuickTime and the sound works on there fine so it must be iTunes.
Anyone know what's going on?Some have solved the problem by starting Garage Band.

My iPod touch has no volume I can't hear anything on it. On pandora you can't hear anything. I've reset it and nothing happened. Do I have to upload it to iOS 6.1.5. Will it do better. I dont know what happend to it help ASAP
Is there no sound period? I mean nothing through the headphones or the speaker? If the sound works only through the speaker or just through the headphones the switch inside the headphone port maybe stuck open. Try plugging and unplugging 10 to 12 times to unstick it. If no sound at all, go into Settings>Music>Volume Limit. See if it is turned on, if so check that the limit is not turned down to zero. If still not the problem try a soft reset, press and hold the power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds, then release. if still no joy go into Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. If still no joy, connect to iTunes via the cable and Restore to backup. If that doesn't work Restore to new. Just remember to save all your stuff that can be wiped before you restore, pictures, music, contacts etc. If none of this works, then maybe a hardware issue contact Apple Genius Bar or store and have your iPod evaluated. A few days ago, I copied text from an iBook onto my text notebook. When I went to my kindle on my ipad and attempted to share a quote from it onto Facebook it pasted the previous quote from my iBook. I can't copy and paste anything except that quote. HELP

My iphone thinks my adapter is still plug in so I can't hear anything.

On my husbands shuffle you can't hear anything..can the ear jack go bad? you can charge it, see the playlist on computer etc, but can't hear a thing.

How come the volume of other programs are lowered while one FaceTime? I exchange media with friends and colleagues and I can barely hear anything. There should be a way we can manually control the volume of different programs
I own the movies and I want them to stay in my iTunes library basically forever.
But in both cases the file name no longer shows in the movie list, so I don't know how to re-download it from the Cloud.
iTunes prefs > Store > Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases.
This will show all your iTunes purchases in your library with a cloud icon down arrow. Click the icon to redownload or click on Play to stream without downloading.

Yet the first thing iTunes does when you hit the delete key is tell you that it will remove the movie forever from all devices and the library.

FYI: You should keep copies of all yoru iTnue spurahses as the labels/movie studios/copyright owners can pull their product at anytime and it won't be available to redownload.
