just bought a brand new ipod nano and downloaded an audiobook borrowed from the local library. The book is there and playing but, I cannot hear anything. What am I doing wrong?
Does the same file play normally in iTunes? Do other audiobooks play normally on the iPod?
How does "borrowing" work? Does it require use of another app, other than iTunes, to get it on the iPod? -

Have you tried going to Settings>iTunes & App Store, and signing out? Click on your Apple ID, then on Sign Out. Then sign back in again and try again.
Also, make sure you have closed the app: double-click the Home key and swipe up on it to close it. Then try again.

I saw one post where a user said dust got inside the small microphone hole. Using a vacuum cleaner removed the dust and restored the audio.

I just joined. I selected convert PDF to a word doc. I downloaded it. but I still can't edit it. What am I doing wrong? Are some PDF unable to be converted?

There are some PDF types (such as those that are password-protected) that can't be converted. But when that's the case, you'll get a message during conversion, and the conversion will stop. It doesn't sound like that's the case for you.
What happens when you open the converted Word document in Word? Do you see an Enable Editing button at the top of the document? If so, please click that. If you're still unable to select text in the Word document, try triple-clicking to select it.
For reference, I will say that the quality of the conversion depends on the quality of the PDF (see Will Adobe ExportPDF convert both text and form... | Adobe Community). So, there may be cases where a PDF written by a third-party application (a non-Adobe app), may not be written to spec, and that can affect the accuracy of the conversion.

I just installed JCE on my new CF10 and now can't login to administrator, what am I doing wrong?
I have CF 10,284568 installed on SUSe 12.2 with Java 1.7.0_15 64bit. When I swap out the two JCE files, restart Coldfusion, I can no longer login to the Administrator. To be more specific, it appears session management isn't working. If I login using a bad username/password pair I get an error, if I login with the correct pair I get returned to the login screen without any error. Additionally, none of my datasources work (MySQL ). If I swap out the original (local policy and US export policy jars) and restart everything works fine.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need to run something in the CF bin or reinstall to get this to work?I tried to repro the Issue :

Can you please check if you are applying the right version of Policy Files ? Or Am I missing something here ? Can you also try with the latest Java and latest CF Update ?

I have a Mac Book Pro with 10.7.5 and I am trying to upgrade to the free Mavericks but when I click on the download it doesn't do anything. What am I dong wrong?
A couple things to try.
1) Quit the App Store, wait a few minutes, then open it and check the Purchases tab. Is there a progress bar.
2) Boot into Safe Mode and try to download it: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1564 -
I did try DFU, restarts, try other computers, etc. But nothing. Should i buy a new battery?
P.S: I'm sorry for my english ^^Obvously your phone does not "work great" . It is damaged. Your option is to buy a new phone or get an out of warranty exchange at an Apple store.

I am able to receive phone calls on my iPad air 2. But, I can not make any phone calls. I am using an iPhone 6. I have set up both as required. What am I overlooking?

Firefox might not appear in the Market because it is not compatible with your hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:

On some supported devices, a bug prevents Firefox from appearing in the Market. This may be related to the recent Market update. You can go to Settings/Applications and uninstall the Market update, then find and install Firefox.

I am working in Ancestry.com. If I am in Internet Explorer, I can copy a picture & then paste it in my pictures, on my computer. If I am using Firefox, I don't understand which things to do to copy & then paste a picture, like I can in Internet Explorer. I prefer to use Firefox, but need to be able to use this copy & paste feature, often. I just downloaded Firefox, & started using it, again, yesterday. I just got a new computer in June.
When you run out of keyboard short cuts, enter the addtional names in the name field in the keyword editor. That will start a new Keyword Collection. You can apply the addtional keywords to multiple cllips on the event browser. Or you can drag the clips into the Collection in the Event Library.

After loading my photos from my iphone to my mac iphoto it gives me the option to delete photos on my phone. When I click to delete the photos do not delete from my phone. I am out of storage due to I can not delete photos from my iphone.
That problem is probably with your iPhone and not with iPhoto.
But try to download again to your Mac, this time use "Image Capture" instead of iPhoto.
Launch Image Capture from your applications folder.
Connect your phone to a USB port.
Select all the photos in your camera roll to be deleted.
Then press the "delete" key.
If there are photos on your iPhone that have been synced with iTunes, they can only be deleted by syncing again and deselecting the albums:

Radio button populate the drop down fine, then when make choices in dropdown1, as soon as click out it goes back to the first choice in drop down?

I tried sending a voice memo to a friend's facebook email, but she couldn't open it. I tried converting it into an mp3 format on the desktop, but it still won't read on her phone or on mine when I try to open the attachment I sent. How do I get a voice memo file into a format that I can send to an email or post on facebook?
If they are like me and have no interest in the latest version they will not be able to open the attachment. Pages 09 will not open the later version.
If they don't have Pages and are using some other word processor they also can't open the attachment.
Safe way to send attachments, choose PDF from the mail options in the share menu.
