I can't import my pictures using the apple connector
I am trying to connect my camera directly to the iPad using the apple connector. I keep getting a message. The connected USB device is not supported.

You've changed the camera's Communication menu option to be 'PTP' and not 'Normal' (that works on mine) ?There is this page related to the kit and the 20D : http://support.apple.com/kb/TA24008

How can I import into imovie from my cannon video camera built in memory. All that comes up when I connect the USB cable is what is stored on the memory card and it doesn't give me the option to use what is stored on the built in memory
That is not a feature of iPhoto - suggest to Apple - iPhoto Menu ==> provide iPhoto feedback.
With the new Photo app later this year the integration between IOS and the Mac will be much greater

As you know, I am using Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1 for my current portal project. I have created JSR-168 JSF Portlet Project for my portlet development.

I did the followings steps:
1: In side the project - File -> Add Existing Item -> Web Page ( imported test.html page from my local folder)
2: Let it convert some of the tags for me ( so now it becomes - �test.jsp� )
3: Set it to initial view.
4. A default portlet page � newPortletPage.jsp is still there with no initial view.
Now after doing this, No Visual Designer and Properties window available to for that �test.jsp� page. Though it allowed me to �build� the project successfully.
When I build and run the portlet application, got the error message �Error occurred in portlet!� on Pluto Portal. Please advice.You do not open fcpproject files. You don't double click or anything else. The files have to be in the correct folder structure in the Final Cut Projects folder and the application opens them automatically. Can you post screen shots of the Final Cut Projects folder and its location.

I am creating a video using the green screen option in iMovie. I imported a picture for the background of the project and videotaped someone using a green screen. Is it possible to move the video of the person around so it is not blocking the picture behind it?
To enable this right you need Acrobat, not the free Reader.
However, starting from Reader X it is possible to add simple markups to any file, unless it has been specifically disallowed by the creator of the file. -
I have been using the apple IPad camera connection kit and my photos can be viewed in the events... But the all imported folder is no longer there and the last import folder is empty. Is there any way to resolve this and get my all imported folder back? as well as get my last import functioning normally?

FCP X can't import iTunes music - says "The song "XXXXX" could not be used because the original file could not be located."
I saw the reply that iTunes was probably moved. I restored it from Time Machine when my hard drive crashed. How do I fix it to import into FCP X?I figured it out by going into iTunes and clicking on the Library link under File. This bring up a box that allows the music files to be reconnected to the iTunes music folder.
FCP X now sees the music and it can be placed into the project timeline. -
How can I increase the speed of importing audio cds into my iTunes library? On my old Dell PC cds imported at 30-35x, but my new iMac (using the Apple Superdrive) is trudging along at 8-10x. Any suggestions?

Not sure you can do anything about this. I get vaiable import speeds - a lot depends on the actual disc. The Read Write spec is 24X but I rarely see speeds close to this.

Can not add a picture to the JFrame from an ActionListener class
As topic says, I can not add a picture to the JFrame from an ActionListener class which is a class inside the JFrame class.
I have a Map.java class where I load an image with ImageIcon chosen with JFileChooser.
I my window class (main class), I have following:

Can you import more pictures into a photo book that is already in work? I have already spent many hours trying to create a photo album but came across more pictures to choose from. However, I don't know how to get these new pictures into the "list" of potential photos for the book in progress. I can't stand the thought of having to start over by selecting the 2000 photos plus these new ones and starting all over again!?!
I have found more pictures that I want to include. They are, say, in a folder on my desktop. I can't simply pull a picture (or the folder) from the desktop and insert it into the album or the list of potential pictures across the top.
to import into an existing book (which is just a special kind of album) simply drag the photos from their source (the desktop in your example) to the book in the source pane on the left (not to the book in the library window but the book icon in the source pane
Likewise to use photos from your iPhoto library just drag them from the library to the book
I also tried imported the pictures, from the desktop folder, into iphoto, creating new event. I don't think there is a way of accessing that new event from the album in work/progress.

That is correct - there is no connection between the source of the book and the book - the book stands alone and you add direct to it in the source pane exactly as you would add to any other album

I just received this comment from a friend, a RADAR engineer, who has just down loaded Multisim. He has been using HP/Agilent software. He has a work around using a piecewise linear voltage waveform with data imported from Excel but this is not really a good solution. It would also be helpful to import data from Mathcad or equivalent.
"I thought I was about to be impressed with MultiSim but it ended only in disappointment. There is a word generator in the simulation instrument panel which can drive the DAC with a waveform and it can have thousands of lines of values. I opened Excel, wrote the formula to generate the time and voltage points for a chirp, converted to DAC values in Hex and then went back to the word generator in MultiSim to load the values only to find that you have to enter each value manually. It doesn’t even allow you to paste in a list of values from a text file. I’m not going to type 5000 values by hand. If you get the chance to give feedback to National Instruments please ask them if the paste option can be added to the word generator. MultiSim is useful in many regards, but in this case, it left me with the impression that it is considerably limited in capability compared to what I’m used to."Hi,
You can load your data automatically in the Multisim word generator. Follow these steps:
- Save your data file (in excel .xslx ir .csv format) on your computer
- Change the extension of the file to ".dp"
- Double-click the word generator in Multisim and click on Set...
- In the Settings dialog box, click on Load and then Accept
- This will prompt you to select the .dp file you have on your computer, select it and you're good to go
However, in Multisim you have the option of creating your own custom simulation analysis and instrument.
I will try creating the instrument and send it back to you but it might take some time.
Multisim and LabVIEW are very powerful in test automation, with the custom instruments you create for Multisim you don't need to export your data file into excel from LabVIEW (or MathCAD or other tools) and then reload it into Multisim. The test procedure is automated instead.
