I can't install Acrobat 9 on a new computer; it says my serial number is wrong
I de-authorized my subscription from an older computer & want to set up Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro on a new, windows 7 computer. I believe I downloaded the correct software, but when I go to enter the serial number it tells me I have the wrong number. Help

in addition to Rave's hint, you should have a look at Adobe's database, to see what's stored/saved about your accounts.

If necessary and for further questions click through http://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html till you reach the chat and if "open" please use it, I had the best experiences. I quote from Adobe's employee Preran: The chat button is activated as soon as there is an agent available to help.
On the other hand you can have a look there: "Telephone numbers of customer service and technical support Adobe worldwide"

Please help if you can. Thanks!You may be somewhat successful if you update AA8. 64bit systems required at least AA8.2 under XP as I recall. Some folks have been successful with AA8 on Win7, not sure about the 64bit version. However, it is not supported and you will likely run into something along the way that fails. Since PDFMaker is mentioned, that will lilkely not work anyway with a new machine. I am assuming that you probably have OFFICE 2010 with the new system that requires AA X.

When I try to install iTunes onto my new computer, it says "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that this package exists and that you can access it or contact the application vendor to verify to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package." I can save iTunes onto my computer, but when I click run, this is the message that appears. How do I get this thing installed?

The same way you would have on an older computer. You run the install program from the CD or the download you saved. You will need the S/N to complete the install. If you are no longer going to use the old computer, be sure to deactivate Acrobat on that machine.

I am trying to install CS4 web premium on a new computer and have the serial number/date of purchase for this product, but at the start of installation it wants an old product previously installed and what that serial number is. There's a chance it's on some old computer in a box, but I haven't seen / used a product besides CS4 in years (purchased in 2011) and don't know how I can put it on this new computer & get back to using it without knowing this mystery serial number? It appears you purchased an upgrade version of CS4 and if so you are required to prove that you qualify for using it. This means you need to identify the old version and its serial number - no way around that. You will need to find that mystery version information. If you check your Adobe account online you might find it.

Did the serial number come from a boxed set and previously installed from disc and are you now trying to install from a download?
If so, that will not work - the serial numbers are different.
If you don't have a dvd drive on your new system, perhaps you could get someone to copy your disc to a memory stick and install from that.

The hard drive in my old computer was fried basically and there is no way to get onto it again. I had adoe creative suite 5.5 and dreamweaver 12 on it but i am not sure how to install either of these onto my new computer now. Is there any other way to do this?
